    I booked for dinner for the birthday of my beloved husband, we had high expectations regarding the place, and I fell in love completely the food is exquisite, the service of the waitress was excellent the atmosphere is beautiful I will definitely come back.

    Steaks were disappointing, not up to the flavor and texture we experienced on previous visits, although we have not been there for over a year. Recognition of our wedding anniversary with a complimentary dessert was a nice touch.

    They offered a Caprese Salad as a special and it was a complete disappointment. The tomatoes were not even grocery store quality. I would suggest not offering unless your tomatoes are an excellent quality. The presentation told the story-not good. Wish I would have sent back and asked for the bisque.

    My wife and I experienced a wonderful dinner at J. Gilbert's last night. We came out to enjoy a good email deal on Surf and Turf dinner, and both of us ordered the St. Edward's scallops as our Surf selection, and were not disappointed. Best seared scallops ever! Paired perfectly with the whipped Yukon potatoes, asparagus, and, of course the filet. We split a wedge salad (yummy and more than enough). The sourdough bread service, with whipped butter and pastrami butter (amazing!) was excellent. I need to single out our server, Monica, who was terrific! We'll be back.

    The Service was great, we had an excellent waiter who cared as this was our 1st time at the restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect for us celebrating our 41st anniversary. We look forward to making this restaurant a major priority when relatives come into town. Simply Awesome!

    Came in to get a table for happy hour but he bar but everything was booked and bar was full. It was too hot to sit outside. Hostess worked with me to watch if reservations were cancelled. One cancelled so she was able to seat us. Waitress was attentive and took care of us well. All drinks and food were great.

    The first expensive style restaurant that actually had good food. It was delicious! We were able to sit in a back room that was more secluded and quiet. 10/10. I would come back here for a special occasion.
