Beautiful ambiance, amazing service and great food! It was a perfect combination for a memorable evening.
Came for dinner our first night at the Phoenician. The views are breathtaking.
Excellent service, delicious food, and perfectly cooked steak. Can't beat the views.
The food was great but it took 20 minutes before we were greeted. It then took an hour before we even received our first order of drinks. The place is beautiful but due to the level of service received, I would not return.
My wife and I had dinner for her birthday and our 15 year anniversary. The food is spectacular, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was perfect. I'd recommend J&G to anyone for a special occasion.
Requested a table by the windows so we could see the view- we were seated as far from the windows as possible looking out. This was our first visit here and I picked it over capital grill because we have been there a few times. Our waitress made me feel as though asking questions was a pain and didn’t bother telling us about the specials until after told her I was gluten free. So the taste menu was not an option with the gluten full items. My husband had black truffle fritters and loved them with the Cabernet. He also had the Dover sole which was ok- they debone it tableside which takes a few minutes and was done after serving my wagu filet. Of course I wait til my husband is served to eat. The sole was boring at best until we added some of the Augratin potato’s with it. That was better. The filet was wonderful I added the blue cheese to it and could not have been happier. The roasted peppers were excellent also. We were given the choice of sparkling or bottled water we selected bottles at $9 a bottle. Never forced to buy water before in a restaurant. They half filled our glasses then did not refill again til we bought the second bottle. Just my opinion when 2 entrees 1 side and 1 glass of wine cost over $260 I should of been comfortable asking questions and the timing for deboning and serving should have lined up.
Very nice and the steak was cooked very well. You can’t go wrong with this restaurant
Great food & ambiance.
Not cheap, but, well worth attending for any special occasion, or just when you want to get out & have a 5 star meal!
Great service & great food!
Came in town to visit our son who lives in Scottsdale.
Went here for our 10th anniversary. Special night deserves a special meal. Definitely regretted this choice. Waitress brought out the wrong drink. Long wait between courses. Medium steak came out well done. Took 20 min for manager to come over and sides were already cold so didn’t quite make sense to wait another 20 min for a Jew steak to be made up. Just overall a total disappointment. Longest, worst, overpriced meal and unfortunate it was for a night that we hoped to be special.
Wonderful food and ambiance. Our waiter Jeff was phenomenal. Outstanding night out!
Our server was amazing!! The steak was kind of dry, I’m
Use to a juicy steak that doesn’t require sauces but other than that no issues
Worth a visit! Food and service were exquisite! Enjoyed both steak and seafood, prepared with attention to detail and delivered with taste.
Salmon was phenomenal! Great views. Great service.
Lovely anniversary celebration. Amazing food and ambiance!!
Incredible experience - best meal, beautiful views, impeccable service and treated even more special because it was my birthday!
For the price I would recommend somewhere else. The service was mediocre. Waited like 30+ minutes for our entree after getting our appetizer without any word from the waiter. The caeser salad was not good. Drinks were empty for periods of time.
The place should of been better.
It was our 25th anniversary . The halibut had no flavor . Needed to lemon it over and over to give it some. The waiter took a long time to come back to our table between visits. The busboy helped a lot.
Need a better explanation of the tasting, 5 course meal. This was our choice for the evening and we were not real pleased. The fish was just not edible, had a gritty taste to it and didn't look appealing at all. The lobster was uncooked and had to be returned. Asked for medium on my steak and it came back medium rare. Waiting on the next course was maddening, absolutely maddening. Here's why: Our reservation was for 5:45. We got coffee and our cake at 8:10. Two and a half hours after we sat down. You can do the math as to how long it took from one course to the other. Cost for our night out and dissatisfaction: $275.00. Ambience. Nice. Servers. Nice. Good night out. Yes. Best meal ever: Not on your life.
Really bad service but the food was incredible. The tasting menu with wine pairings is very well done.
Me and my husband went here for our anniversary dinner. We both got the sample dinner of everything. Everything was delicious our favorite was the tuna hands down. Service was okay, for the ambience and food I thought a little more attention on the servers parts would be better. They seemed rushed.
Great food and ambiance … service was excellent ~ Jeff did a great job even though the restaurant was busy 👌🏼
Great service and food!
The request I asked for in a month advance, I did not get.
My husband and I came here for dinner on our ten year wedding anniversary. The food was AMAZING and the service was wonderful as well. I would definitely recommend J&G to our friends.
Fantastic staff, very helpful and attentive.
Our server Michael was excellent but he was obviously short handed. It took over an hour to get drinks from the bar. Somehow, the staff lost my husband’s birthday cake that had been delivered earlier that day by the bakery. 😔
Great atmosphere with excellent fine food and very good service
Ok .food pricy but the view ok good.....
Yes I will go again
Loved the ambience. The patio was closed. The ceasar salad had too much lemon juice.
Every time we come here it’s our favorite. Our waitress was so accommodating and we enjoyed every min of our experience.
Awesome Lamb. Would like to try some fish dishes next time. They looked great.
They were so nice to serve us the Anniversary Dessert plate. It was full of tasty sweets :)
No regresaremos . No lo recomendamos . No tiene el nivel ni la calidad inherente al precio u es totalmente incomparable a sus competidores en el segmento de Grand Fine Luxury Gourmet steak house
Steaks cooked as ordered, service was average for prices charged.
This is a really great place with an excellent view of the Papago’s and the planes landing in the Phoenix sky Harbor
Excellent dinner and beautiful view of the city at night
