The best dining experience ever! From the service to the food....AMAZING! I took my mom for Mother’s Day dinner and we both can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! The bread....YUM!!! The Tuna Tartare...DELICIOUS! The filet and snap peas...WOW!!!! Austin was the best!!! Thank you for such an incredible dining experience! Mark, the manager the nicest!!! Sooo happy!!!
The prices that were charged were not what the menu stated,
Definitely paying for the views only here. The food is average at best. Caesar salad was WAY too "lemony". The parmesan crusted chicken was not good at all. Steaks are decent.
The rolls are nothing special, full of air and lacked flavor.
Fantastic restaurant as always but please, please, please stop pandering to the covid-19 lunacy with stupid steps and let the employees take off their gloves and masks! Enough!!! Other Properties of yours have already shed the masks and gloves please do so here
Guaranteed outside seating, did not get it, no reason given
Server was fantastic, food was great and the view was spectacular. Made our 10 year anniversary very special.
Food was top notch and comparable with Sullivan’s steakhouse in Tucson. Chef must be the top five chefs in AZ. The restaurant itself is starting to show wear and the tables need updating. Service was incomparable and the best I’ve ever received. Price was high but worth the culinary delights overall.
Though they seated us 30 min late, they send complimentary cocktails. Dinner and service was perfect
We dined here 2 nights ago and it was pleasant. The view is fabulous, the food was just ok, and the service was fine. Our waitress seemed to have way too many tables to service. She was very pleasant and did the best to manage all requests on a busy Friday night. We ordered a filet mignon which was a tad overdone. The Sea bass dish was boring. Fries are great! It’s convenient if you’re staying at the hotel (a positive) but a huge bill could await at the end of the evening.
Very good food
We ate there at 5pm so it was not super busy, which made it nice and quiet. The food, service and views were excellent! My husband and I highly recommend the wagyu tomahawk ribeye for two with the lobster Mac and cheese!
We had dinner at the bar with Ben and it was very enjoyable- he was so personable. The view is beautiful
The view is beautiful and the vibe is cool. Our server, Suzan was informative and fun. I thought my steak was good but not outstanding. The chocolate lava cake and ice cream was really really good and worth going back to for it!
Great food and service. Nice wine selection and the steaks and sea food were excellent. Try the oysters!
Okay, “value” will always be a point of contention in a place like this. Sure, it’s expensive at a glance, but to me, it’s worth every penny. We started with a few perfectly scrubbed (beautiful to the eyes) very tasty oysters...then moved to a delicious sea bass and one of the best dense, meaty strip steaks I have ever tasted. Service was perfect. The drinks were top drawer. A great evening worth every penny.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Loved it.
Service was not 5 star like other restaurants we have been to. Wine list was great. There was live music when we walked in which was nice to listen to. Had to ask for menus so we did not have to read our phones. We received a menu covered in plastic and really no explanation about the menu. Tables were fairly close together but when we got up to use the restroom they were all over us to wear a mask. Just makes no sense when you are walking 15 feet. For a dinner that was so expensive I just thought the service and attention should have been better. I usually don't review but in this day and age I feel something needs to be said about doing better and letting people live and enjoy a good meal and relax. Having to worry constantly about masks, plastic over menus, etc just takes the fun out of having a special evening. I hope changes come soon to the restaurant because I definitely feel they can do better.
So great! Servers and bartender were so helpful and accommodating special request. Food was outstanding! And the views from the outside deck were fabulous.
Excellent service. The food was excellent as well.
This is an excellent restaurant, they think in every single detail in terms of food presentation and flavors. The ambience is super nice, relaxing, modern and luxury. We ordered cocktails, were very unique and creative. The sides portions are generous. We had a really nice table, to enjoy the view of the purple mountains. The staff and management of the restaurant make an effort to make you feel welcome and celebrated. Stunning!
It was one of the best dinners we have had from the wait staff to the food and wine. The views are unbelievable too!
Lovely view of the Phoenix area and impeccable service.
Wonderful experience and great staff. Absolutely lives up to their reputation. Highly recommend. Thanks
Giovanna and David were fantastic! Their recommendations were on point, and they anticipated our every need. The Waygu meatball special was amazing - great job chef!
Food was really prepared perfectly.
The service was excel;en and most memorable.
Loud, obnoxious drunk table next to us that ruined the entire experience. I know it was a delicate situation because how do you tell customers to quiet down? But, I think they should have been moved to another area of the restaurant or moved us. Or, stopped serving them alcohol. The food is always excellent. The service outstanding. We celebrate most special occasions here. This was just so disappointing to spend so much money celebrating my dad’s 81st birthday and everyone really being impacted by the loud, obnoxious table neighbors. Did I mention they were loud and obnoxious?
Fabulous views!! Excellent service!!
Amazing!!! Loved everything we ate
Outstanding food and outstanding service. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.
One of my favorite restaurants
Made reservations and upon arrival asked for a window facing table. They provided 1 seat facing towards the window. I asked immediately if We could be seated at the larger table fir 4 facing the window and was told it was reserved for a 4pp. Not 2 min later a 2 pp party was sat at the table I asked for. So after they were seated I asked the diners if they reserved for 4 pp. They responded with the fact they didn’t even have reservations. Lets just say I wasn’t too happy about that. There was also a 4pp table seated behind us that were drunk and loud and left little to be desired in regards to ambiance. I lasted 10 min before seeking mgt and requested a different table at a different area and was accomodated.
This is the ultimate steak place and it has a wonderful view.
The server was very nice and food was fabulous!
The Crab Cakes and Sea Bass were amazing.
The Tasting Menu ($92 per person) was the perfect combination of all the items that I wanted to sample. Service was excellent and each item on the tasting menu was delicious.
Great staff, great service, great food and a great view, it really doesn’t get better than dinner at J&G Steakhouse. I put on the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and Patrick Norton and his staff made us feel special throughout the night. We had a great time and can’t wait until we can go back.
Seated 20 min late. We had to ask for kids menu. We had to ask to order wine. Offered coloring book for our 4 year-old by hostess but then had to ask for it again but they were out of colors. They were out of the ribeye and porterhouse. We ordered a 2017 Cab abd was brought a 2018. Waited 30 min between finishing appetizers before we received our steaks - both which were mediocre (prob comparable to Outback).
Positives were the Sweet Pea Soup that was amazing but served only slightly warm. As we left, the bartender gave each of us a free glass of wine due to our poor experience. My son did like his cheeseburger from the kids menu as well.
