Food and service were amazing. Great place to visit for special occasions.
We had a pre-dinner drink at the bar, great service by Kyle. Very friendly and welcoming. Informed us of all the new updates and changes going on at the restaurant.
We were greeted by a very friendly staff at the host stand. Our dinner service was wonderful. Upon being seated, Glenn and Reggie both remembered us from our last visit. Glen provided wonderful service and all courses were timed perfectly. The food was delicious. Mitch provide wonderful wine service and was knowledgeable about the wine we had. J&G is one of our favorite spots in town.
We had an issue with a gift certificate the last time we were in. Byard ensured that the gift certificate would go through this time and made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Great customer service in resolving an issue. Above and beyond!
We come several times a year and we are always made to feel special. Our favorite server Glenn has the perfect style: he seems happy to see us and asks about our stay in Park City. He remembers what we like. He makes excellent recommendations for both food and wine. His service is impeccable. And thanks also to the chef: each dish is delicious and artfully presented.
Loved riding up in the funicular!
Food was awful. The pizzas and soup came out lukewarm. The prices are ridiculous: ($73 for salmon? Are you kidding me?)
The server could not have been nicer, but the restaurant itself was a massive disappointment. Will never go back.
Fabulous food and service!
Waitstaff was not engaged. Waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged in a half empty room. Food was just average at a price point that should demand better. Overall a beautiful venue with a disappointing experience.
We've been eating at the JG Grill since it opened, maybe 4-5 times a year and I have in the past recommended it to people. Sadly, on this visit, every single item was a little (or a lot) off. The chef was kind enough to prepare tofu like the chicken dish, but the seasoning was dull and the only vegetable was zucchini. The scallop appetizer was much too spicy to enjoy. The pizzas were greasy and underbaked and the special one (with peach) had too much balsamic vinegar. The coconut pavlova had cornstarch in it--that you could taste--the guava puree was unappetizing and the blueberries just didn't fit with the dish. The service was great as always and we love the view and ambience. What happened to the head chef?
I never learn. In my case, you can't "teach an old dog a new trick." I must enjoy repeating the same mistake. It may be masochistic, but I am unable to "live and learn.". I step in the same pile of manure almost each and every time.
The J&G Grill is in the elegant and fabulous St Regis Hotel. Run by the venerable Jean-George restaurant corporation, one would think the J&G Grill might have the same degree of excellence as the NYC Jean-George restaurants. Ha! Matching the quality of the J & G Grill to those NYC restaurants is like comparing Billy Carter to Jimmy Carter or Justin Bieber to Ed Sheeran.
We wanted to take a friend to brunch in Park City and made an 11:00 AM reservation at the J&G Grill. We arrived at 11:00 to see them cleaning up the brunch buffet. The brunch ends at 11:00. "No brunch for us!" We stood around for about 7 minutes, until I walked into the restaurant to ask if someone could help us.
"Oh, you want to eat?"
"No, I'm in your restaurant simply to stare at your staff cleaning up the buffet table."
Finally, we were led to a table for a weak, innocuous and expensive lunch. It was a sad ending to a great weekend. Will I learn from this experience? Of course not. I am writing this from Las Vegas, a place I hate with all my heart and soul. Why am I here? Maybe I am masochistic. That would explain much of my utter existence.
We shared the Parker Rolls and the Mussels. Too much bread ! Mussels were outstanding. Shared the Pork chop and while the flavor was good, we were both disappointed in the presentation. Typically nicer restaurants will provide a full order of the vegetables when splitting an entree. Not so in this case. We each had one small stalk of broccolini cauliflower. Were it not for all the bread we ate, we would surely have left feeling fairly hungry. The desert was outstanding and we appreciated the sentiment of providing it at no charge to commemorate our anniversary.
The evening was perfect. Weather was great and enjoyed the ride up the Funicular. Warmly greeted by the Host. Our waiter and support staff were warm and knowledgeable. And funny. Food was creative and excellent. We will definitely return. Soon I hope!
Amazing meal, scenery, setting - all of it was exceptional.

The food was good, but a bit overpriced. We had a excellent waiter—Reggie—who made the evening fun. Ambiance is rated a 3 only because the place was empty and lacked any energy. Honestly think there are places in town just as good with better price points

Beautiful outdoor seating. Excellent food. Knowledgeable waiter. Unfortunately, entrees took way too long to arrive (20-30 min after first course). Waiter admitted when asked that he had put in the wrong order. Restaurant should have comped the entree or dessert or something but didn’t.
From the check-in, to the check, this is one of those places where I have no problem paying the higher prices for the highest quality of service, food and drink. 5 star in my book!
The location was fantastic. Views are great. Had pesky wasps interrupting our dinner. The server and support staff went the extra mile to make this birthday occasion, special!

I had such an atrocious experience. I ordered a steak medium rare. My steak came well done. I sent it back. My second steak was medium well. My dinner guest had finished her meal by the time my second entree came, which I ate not prepared to order, to avoid eating an hour later. No one asked it was prepared as ordered. When I complained again, my meal was not comp'd, we were not offered a free desert with an apology, we were just told that the kitchen would "hope to be better next time." I am astonished that this restaurant is affiliated with Jean-Georges. I will never return. Wildly overpriced for the service level and experience.
Salmon was over cooked and lacked flavor, way over priced for Norwegian Salmon. New York stop was average, not what I expect for a grill like J&G. Overall disappointing for the price.
Spent a couple hundred dollars on a lovely anniversary dinner. Food was excellent. Portion size was a little small.
From SF to Chicago, to L.A. and NYC. Best meal ever. These guys BRING IT. Exceptional execution. Phenomenal flavor. Authentic service. This place is special. Sit at the chef's counter for an inspiring evening of culinary bliss.
Our server was fantastic. Guided us through the entire new menu, both food and cocktails. She made wonderful suggestions on the appetizers and we all loved our entrees. Greatly appreciated the desserts on the house! We will back again soon!

Overpriced and very slow service given that the restaurant wasn’t that crowded.
The current menu is very limited. While the dishes are fine, they don't look appealing and for the price they should work harder on looks and taste. Our server, however was amazing. Very helpful and took great care of us. But I'd wait until the menu looks a bit better to head up there. Seems like they feel like they have a captive audience in the hotel and are not working as hard as they have been in the past.
Our waitress Lisa made my birthday dinner so special. Her suggestions were terrific and she went above and beyond! So passionate and a true gem! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Our dinner at J&G Grill was the best of our week long vacation to the Park City area. Well worth the 10 minute drive from Park City and bested any of the restaurants. Will be coming back regularly with family as J&G was definitely the best food, service and overall value.

Trout and veg were barely warm and fish was undercooked - rare too be more precise.
Pork chop was very fatty.
For the price expected much better food.

Wow! One of my favorite meals ever! The starters were out of this world! Divers scallops and the pork belly. Delicious and a great presentation! The poulet rouge was so good, I almost cried! Reggie was a great server and the support staff was excellent! It was busy, but they were attentive. Thanks J&G Grill for such a great evening!❤️
Many Issues starting with Open Table.
I made and was confirmed my reservation for Friday
The 28 th. That morning I received an email that I missed
my reservation. That's funny it was still 12 hrs before my reservation time. Called the Four Seasons they didn't have my name even down that night. Explain that to me.
Ok, the dinner. Scallops were so spicy you could hardly
eat them.. they made another order.. very good.
Salmon.. delicious. Fries were luke warm they said they will
make another order except they never returned to
the table. Major issues in kitchen the whole restaurant
Was on food hold so it seems. Nobody was getting
their food. They returned with our fries after we
had eaten our fish. We didn't accept them. Service
although friendly was inattentive. I expressed my dissatisfaction. They comped the sides and bought us
after dinner drinks. This was a birthday celebration
but the restaurant blew it! Also, way too many small
children at such a fine restaurant.. overall, a bad experience.
