Service was inconsistent, but it wouldn't keep me from coming back. We all enjoyed the food, but I don't think the price necessarily matches the food + experience. The fries were delicious; shoe string and the right amount of crunch.
Wonderful food and service. Our server was extremely attentive, and the food was perfect. The cocktails were delicious.
Great staff , food excellent !! Did not disappoint !!!
It started with asking for water to drink with no lemon, came with lemon. this is in itself not consequential except it demonstrates how much our waitress paid attention to us.
The food was sub par for a high end restaurant such as this was, better food and price at a Longhorns actually. My wife's filet was cut in half and appeared as hockey puck like.
It took a while for the waitress to get to us for dessert choices which were a poor selection for a so called high end restaurant. The noise was very loud in a place that we expected to be a "fine dining" establishment.
Overall was a great disappointment for a place to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary.
Always s family favorite Love the deviled eggs and spinach queso
Family, Mother’s Day dinner, very nice.
We enjoy eating there and the staff is amazing and in the atmosphere was wonderful enjoyed everything that we ate and we eat there once a month
Great As Always .
Service was mediocre. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but has fallen off as of late.
Prices seem to have increased beyond what is reasonable for this level of dining experience.
Good food, friendly staff and nice variety for lunch or dinner.
Good option for a week night dinner with my husband
Great place for a Sunday brunch - the menu is similar to J Alexander, so if you are concerned, don't be. Love their salads and their daily specials keep the menu fresh. Clean and quick service, restrooms also sparkling clean.
J Alexanders-Redlands is our FAVORITE Restaurant. We have moved from Johns Creek to Hoschton and still come down to Redlands for dinner, birthdays etc. Great Food wonderful service.
Best calimari. Everybody at the table was happy with their meal. One had a dairy allergy. We had to send back the calimari as it had parmesan. They remade the dish without it. They also let him know that there was sourcream in the dressing he chose. Very thoughtful. Excellent waitress. We will definitely go back there for special occasions.
Absolutely would recommend !!! Our favorite place to eat. The best service !!!
Consistent quality food as always. Daily specials were interesting.
Atmosphere is a bit noisy
My serves was Kissey (hope I’m spelling it correctly) she was amazing! She was on point with her service and was just a pleasant person. The next time I come I’m asking for her!!!! Food was 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Always a great time with a great meal. Excellent service !
This restaurant is quite big, so it may accommodate many guest - it even has special area for parties. Moreover, their policy allows to bring your special bottle of wine and they do not charge a corkage fee. We had a grilled artichoke appetizer that was nice. The main dishes were NY Strip steaks and a French Dip sandwich. Two of the steaks were rare and one was medium rare. They were very good, close to being excellent. The French Dip sandwich was made from generous slices of Prime Rib - probable the best French Dip my wife has ever had. With all this great food we enjoyed a bottle of Spanish Ribera del Duero Pesquera red wine that we bought some time ago in California. With the friendly and professional staff, we had a perfect birthday party for our friend Cheryl.
This is a go to restaurant in Norcross. Always great service and good food.
We sat down and were promptly attended to by two wait staff doing different things. One was checking for our drink order and the other came later asking for the same thing and dinner order. At one point, I'm pretty sure two waiters were getting us drink orders and different wine tastings. Not a bad thing, just confusing.
We were pretty hungry so after our initial cocktails were delivered, we ordered our dinners with strict instructions to check back with us for a wine order to have with dinner. My wife wanted a nice red wine to pair with the prime rib she was getting.
We had barely started enjoying our cocktails when the main course arrived so wifey didn't get a chance to order the wine she has selected. Our salads arrived several minutes after that, after we reminded the main waiter we had a salad. And our waiter never checked back to get the wine order in so half-way through the prime rib wifey gave up on that idea. We ate our salads while our prime ribs grew cold.
The food was great but the order of operations and the issue with not letting us relax and enjoy the evening prior to getting a great meal kind of killed the experience, especially since it was my wife's birthday and she had had a really hectic day up until then.
I know you guys have to turn-and-burn to make money, but I think you may be doing that at the expense of losing "veteran" customers who want to enjoy the evening as much as a great meal. It won't keep us from coming back but we will be very adamant about when things should be delivered next time, even if we have to force the wait staff to keep coming back asking us if we are ready to proceed to the next course. We'll do it at our own pace next time, not yours.
Excellent experience. Would do it again and recommend to friends.
My family and I truly enjoyed our experience. Excellent service, excellent food, and a beautiful setting; it was a perfect spot for a birthday dinner.
The perfect way to start the Easter Holiday weekend ! Love Alexander's !!!!!
We got there a few minutes late and our reservation was cancelled. So, we had to wait for about 15mins to get a table (I felt that it was a punishment for being late :-)) The food and the service were good. Their Apple Martini was excellent.
Wonderful as always. And great service as always !!!
Danyell, our server, was great. We’ve had her, Jaimee, and Anna before and they all are superb. We celebrated my Wife’s birthday here. Excellent location.
AS A PERSONAL CHEF AND A TRUE CULINARIAN FOR OVER 18 YEARS, I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE FOOD WAS ACTUALLY SUB PAR FOR THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I HAVE DINED AT J. ALEXANDERS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND ON POINT HOWEVER THE FOOD ITSELF WAS NOT PLEASANT AT ALL. MY DAUGHTER, WHO IS PREGNANT, ORDERED THE PRIME RIB AND IT WAS OVER SEASONED (SALTY) AND THE POTATOES ON EVERY ENTREE WERE COLD. WE SUBSTITUTED THE PRIME RIB FOR THE SALMON AND IT HAD NO FLAVOR AT ALL, VERY BLAND. ONCE IT FINALLY MADE IT TO THE TABLE OUR PARTY HAD ALREADY DINED AND WE HAD TO HAVE THE SALMON PACKAGED TO GO. OUR SERVER DID AN EXCELLENTJOB MAKING UP FOR THE SHORTCOMINGS WITH OUR FOOD AND OFFERED DESSERT TO US FOR FREE. I WANT TO GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY HOWEVER THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND PROPER SEASONING NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED FIRST.
I like this place a lot, have been here often, and will return. ON THIS VISIT, my date was not satisfied with her steak. They worked very hard to accommodate her and really hovered around our table to ensure that we were satisfied. Although this ended up with her dining schedule and mine getting a bit out synch, the staff deserves kudos for their extra effort. And this is part of why I'm certain to return. They aim to please.
It was a great meal & great service !!!
Unfortunately at 7:15pm they had run out of veggie burgers. However we did have a wonderful birthday dinner, and will be back.
It feels like dining with family ! Love our evenings at J's !!!
We apparently arrived during a shift change, we were told by server #1 that she would take our drink orders but a different server would be taking over....little did we know that would be a LONG WAIT! The new server signed on we finally got our drink orders. The food came out and I will say it was our second try having the ribs since y’all became Relands, again disappointed. We use to ABSOLUTELY LOVE the ribs when you were J Alexander’s not sure what you changed but it’s no longer an option for our family. Lastly, the service was TERRIBLE! Drink glasses stayed empty even when ask for a refill, extra condiments desired not delivered. All in all a very disappointing meal for ALL 6 of us and it was 4:30 on a Saturday well before the dinner rush so it was hard to understand why the service was so slow and non existent.
Peachtree Corners has opened a plethora of new dining options, you use to be a favorite of ours but for now we will choose different restaurants when dining out. We truly hope you are able to get things together, our last 2 visits not so good and friends complained of the same issues .☹️
The hostess, Kissy, is outstanding!
This is worst experience we have ever had at this restaurant. It has always been one our favorites. The service was poor. We ordered and realized that we weren’t asked about the baked potato. We flagged the server down to let her know that we only wanted a couple of the toppings, because we weren’t asked when we ordered. Her response was , I told the kitchen to put all of the toppings on it. Very rude. When the filet came . It was raw. We ordered med rare. We had to send it back, and with a lukewarm concern. We sat and waited for the steak, while never being offered to get fresh sides. I believe it was a manager who brought it back out, with no apology, or asking if we wanted hot sides. The food was ok, but the experience was terrible
We had a fantastic family dinner. 🥰
It was another great meal as expected !!! Love our J's !!!
