Always good food and friendly service. The best carrot cake ever!
I have always enjoyed my time at Redlands Grill whether it’s a business meeting or a birthday party. The service and food has always been outstanding. And if Pete’s working the night you are going he does a great job and his senses of humor only makes the evening that much better
We go here often to eat and always like it.Our grandchildren also love it so we go here frequently .The food is good and the service is great. We always have an enjoyable evening here.
Great food, fast service, great environment. I wish we had one in Wisconsin.
Excellent food and service
French fries were very good. The chocolate cake was also good. No kids menu.
time to change menu, eat here often and perhaps more sandwiches, salads, etc
This is a great place for an afternoon business lunch.
All was great but the timing of the courses was very rushed. Never should courses be to close together. We were all eating our starters when the main course arrived and they were forced to keep them warm. When they arrived again they weren’t at a palatable temperature.
Always great and love that it’s nearby! Good for lunch, too.
Our waitress was very patient and did a great job. We were comfortable in our booth and our food was delicious?
Food and service were great! It was so loud we could not hear!
Waited 15 min past rez to be seated; otherwise staff excellent
I don't want to say how wonderful it is because it might be too crowded for us to get a table. We love it! It is always busy. Great restaurant - and I'm understating everything
4 coworkers and myself went to dinner after work. We had a reservation at 4:30pm and 4 of the 5 of us were there at 430. We were sat immediately, not knowing if the 5th person would be able to join at all. We ordered drinks an appetizers and at 5:12 a VERY unfriendly female manager and our waitress (who was very nice) approached our table and told us we had to leave by 6:30 because they needed our table. The restaurant was empty and we questioned this. She let us know that each reservation is only a 2 hour window. We said that's a ridiculous rule because if you want to a nice dinner with drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts and conversations, it takes more than 2 hours. The manager stood at our table making it very uncomfortable telling us our options - leaving, possibly getting sat at another table or ensuring we were out by 630. We said we'd be willing to take another table, to which that was ignored. The manager argued back and forth with us for a good 5 minutes. This restaurant is typically filled with corporate level patrons due to where it's located. I would be willing to bet, if we were a table of 4 males, we wouldn't have been approached and told we had to leave by 630. If that was the expectation, that should have been communicated before we were sat and we would have sat at the bar so we didn't have to rush out. After the RUDE manager left, so did our waitress, this was at 5:17 - no one came back to acknowledge our table for another 23 minutes to see if we wanted more drinks. After we finally ordered our drinks it took another 17 minutes to get them. The service was so slow that we couldn't have left by 630 if we wanted. At one point, our waitress even approached our table and apologized and said that what happened with the manager was awkward. In the end, we stayed in our table, they offered to pay for 1 dessert for the table and our bill was about $300, which we shouldn't have even stayed and eaten after the way we were treated. Very disappointed.
Outstanding service and food!
Prime rib was wonderful. Strongly recommend it. Also, we had the chicken tenders which were also excellent. Since it was my birthday, I got a free little piece of carrot cake - which was warm and also very good. Really enjoyed the food. Service was fine.
Our waiter could have been more attentive to us Never really checked to see if we need anything etc. Food was good
Very enjoyable dining experience. On the eve of a busy Saturday night, the wait staff was accessible and friendly. Ty, our server, did everything right, without our asking. She accommodated my dining partner's seating request and was kind in doing so. I ordered the rotisserie chicken, and even with an upcharge for all white portions, the quality was great and the dish very tasty. Redlands salad was full of fresh ingredients and ample. Chicken arrived warm, not hot, and accompanying mashed potatoes were cold. I chose to tell the server just to reheat potatoes (salvaged lukewarm chicken since the au jus was hot), and instead of scooping them off or taking my plate back to the kitchen, she brought a new serving piping hot. My dining partner ordered the ribs and she felt they were overcooked. Overall, and especially b/c of the wait staff, a good choice.
We have been coming to this restaurant for years and this visit was disappointing.
J. Alexanders / Redlands Grill is a go-to spot for me. Everything on the menu is tasty! The staff is friendly and attentive. They can be quite busy at times, but in general, the restaurant is bustling, but not TOO busy to seat me.
We just loves going there. The burgers, salads and sandwiches are great. The fish is good too. We go there often. The hostess always comes to the table to check up on everything. Everyone is super friendly
1) they need better appetizer selections. What about a hummus plate, baked cheese, everything is so so boring.
2) desserts are so boring. They used to have an ice cream cake that was so good.
2) everything there is always the same. They never mix it up.
This place just can't get their act together when it comes to service. This is now the fourth time in a row we have eaten here with all different waiters or waitresses. They seem like they are always in a hurry and never get your orders right. When someone orders a Gin and Tonic with a lime how do you forget the lime twice? If someone orders their meal with no salad, how do they bring you one anyhow? They try and impress you to take your order from memory and it doesn't work. We love the food here but the service needs a lot of help!!!
Good Food, excellent services. We will visit again very soon.
Great food; wonderful service.
Ahi Tuna was delicious.
Great food; great cocktails; great service.
Our meal was wonderful but the service here is continually poor. The waiter tried to impress us by not writing anything down and guess what - our meal came out wrong. They definitely need better training. If you sit and the bar you get better service.
We went for mother's day with 2 of our party who use walkers, and a late addition of an extra member to our party. Very accommodating with a ramp to access the dining area. Also they were very nice to be able to add in our extra last minute guest. Food was excellent, tasted great, prepared and presented very well. Our server was very helpful. Often when going to a restaurant on a busy holiday, food service and quality suffers. Not at Redlands. Everyone was so nice and attentive. I will go to this restaurant again, and will recommend it to anyone looking for a really nice place to eat.
Great food. Every thing on the menu is a hit. I have never had a bad meal no matter what I ordered. It's always a perfect dining experience. One of my favorite places. I thing that is bad The music is always always too loud. The won't let employees turn it down. I don't understand why it so loud.
I took my mother there for Mother's Day. The ambience and service was great and she really enjoyed herself. We will return in the future.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the food, wines and menu.
This review would be all 5 stars had it not been for thimble sized cocktail serving I paid $10.50 for. So 2 less stars for overall value. Everything else is 5 stars!
Service was good food was ok but I can't believe they charge $5 dollars to split plates .
Awesome. Too noisy at evening dinner
Our server, Nichole; was excellent. Very pleasant, very helpful with selections.
Excellent as usual!!
LOUD!!!! Can’t get near the bar when u r waiting for a table. BUT the food is wonderful. Service was good
