Awesome in every way!
It was amazing!
Best sushi in the US!! But It is expensive so make us a special occasion.
Over hyped ! I m still looking for a good sushi place in Denver
We love this restaurant. The food and service are always wonderful.
I loved this restaurant.
Best sushi I have eaten, fresh, great service
The service was phenomenal! Our server made great recommendations and everything was absolutely perfect!! Thank you
Beautiful interior. Some of the tastiest food I have ever had.
The food was great, but we were getting together with friends that we don’t see very often and it was very difficult to talk because of the noise level.
We went for a birthday lunch and were very pleased with the food and service. We will return to this sweet sushi spot.
Food is always amazing. Freshest fish. Incredible flavors. Knowledgeable staff.
The food is very good; however, the wine pours are inconsistent. One glass was ridiculously small and the bartender ignored me. Another bartender agreed with me. It put a damper on the evening.
Best sushi anywhere!
Went for my wife's 32nd birthday. Love sushi, but haven't had Izakaya or Sushi Den before. Sushi was fantastic, as were the drinks (Ginger something and Chrysanthemum Mist Sake were incredible). Do get the pork belly, as the sauce with that is next level (it really should accompany all meats imo). Didn't love toro as much as I thought I would, but that was personal taste, not due to any issues with the fish itself. The smoked salmon with avocado was fantastic, and the thing I could never order enough of.
Pricey, but only because we had to try different toro options available, as well as order multiple cocktails. No single dish felt like it wasn't worth the price point on the menu.
Service was a bit slow. Bar seemed fairly backed up and our server had a hard time answering questions regarding the menu. Food was exceptional as always.
great food, good service, I drive 1/2 hr just to have lunch. Highly recommend.
This is one of my favorite spots in Denver so we came here for my birthday and it certainly did not disappoint. The food, the saki, the service were all beyond expectation.
Superb food, from fish to sides. The service at bar was less attentive than typical.
This was a great restaurant. This was my first time coming this place me and the lady friend came here for a date night. Service was great and the food was amazing. Thanks for a great night and we'll be back very soon.
Amazing service, atmosphere, and food. Hands-down the best sushi I've ever had outside of Japan.
Our server is very nice and has great attitude.
Love the ambience of this place. Feels like you’re in a major city, but in reality you’re in quiet WashPark.
Outstanding meal! Our server Micheal was amazing took us on a sushi adventure that was so was extraordinary. Thank you!
This was our first time eating here and it definitely lived up to the hype. Everybody I've spoken to who's eaten at Izakaya Den has raved about and highly recommended it. We were not disappointed! Definitely get the grilled octopus. Wow!!
Sushi was excellent, bento boxes were generous and delicious. Highly recommend. We are big fans of ototo; this was our first time at ototo's sister restaurant Izakaya and we were not disappointed.
Felt a little rushed. Server was fantastic, however the folks clearing the table were hovering and removing dishes prematurely.
Love this place
Especially love the Ramen soups, very fresh sushi and variety of Japanese liquors
You can get seared Shishito peppers and sweet shrimp with fried shrimp heads ( not listed but they have some great stuff that’s not on the menu)
Fun night with family celebrating a birthday. The food never disappoints!
The food was great service was ok, I felt myself trying to get his attention after we ordered our food for more drinks. They ran out of the blue fine toro we were suppose to get, they offered the other toro it but it never came. It was busy but it was not the best experience I have ever had at this restaurant. It was my birthday and I was a little under the weather was really looking for a wow experience unfortunately it did not happen on this trip.
Literally, our favorite restaurant in Denver. We drive from Colorado Springs every month or two, just to dine here. Freshest sushi in the country. Wonderful small plates. We bring our friends and share. Order as you go, not all at once, so you know when to stop! Hard to leave room for dessert, but desserts are great, too. Add in the terrific service and the beauty of this restaurant--what more could you possibly want? Oh, prices are very reasonable, considering the overall value. PS: Don't miss the miso black cod (the portion is splittable for two.)
Love ID. Great restaurant. We loved all the sashimi and tuna steamed buns.
Sushi rolls were uninspired and bland. Nigiri was good. Very disappointing based on reviews and on our experience at Sushi Den. Better to wait in line for Sushi Den.
No volcano rolls and seats are too close together for more private convo
Our meal was absolutely AMAZING. Our service was so poor it made me only give Izakaya Den 4 stars., which hurt!
We had 3 things come out before any of our drinks.
So so. Been there before. It’s solid for a B level sorta experience. Wouldn’t use for business situation as service came off as unprofessional.
This was our first dining experience at Izakaya Den. We were there on a Saturday and we booked our reservation about a week ahead of time; I strongly recommend reservations as the restaurant became busy to the point of people waiting outside for seating. Everything from sushi, sashimi and nigiri to ramen and drinks was impeccable, as was (surprisingly) the service. Everything tasted fresh and clean.
Always a favorite tonight was no exception good sushi and small plates
I usually sit at the bar had a table upstairs a little longer wait than usual but good service and very welcoming
