My friends (three) who were with me we at Ivy Kitchen for the first time. On my recommendation, all of them ordered the traditional cheeseburger and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was very sweet and efficient, and she made our experience very delightful. I will definitely be back; the others do not live in our neighborhood, so I can't vouch for them. But I know they had a great time.
Hostess rose and server Madeline are the main reasons for the rating. This is a nice neighborhood place that we would return if and when we were in the neighborhood. Steak was good, brussels sprouts too spicy, Trout slightly overcooked but asparagus on point. All in all, a pleasant evening.
Love ivy kitchen for brunch! We got the breakfast sandwich and the brisket breakfast tacos and both were delicious. Great service, great place, would recommend!
Ivy Kitchen is my number 1 choice in restaurants to visit prior to seeing a movie at The Look. The staff is always very nice, the food amazing and well worth the price. It is something my son and I certainly look forward to on our movie date nights together and it is just a perfect start to a perfect evening with my son, whom I do not get to spend much time with. Thank you, Ivy Kitchen for always making it so special for us. My visits there are and always will be events I look back at with great fondness and will have a special place in my heart.
First time there. I think that happy hour items you're amazing with the price. We'll go again. Our server was really kind and informative of the menu.
Brian (sp) is always very attentive and highly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendation on a Girard Cab and the Smoked Bacon Jalapeno appetizer brought me back and they didn't disappoint, again. Lindsey(sp) was there during this visit and she was lively, fun, and engaging during her stints at our table. Both are bartenders and do a great job. This is a solid place that's nice and quiet around 3pm for discreet business conversations or a secluded date.
Overall a very good restaurant. Thank goodness for Valet Parking on busy nights
Great dinner and food. Service was pretty good too, very attentive server. A tad overpriced, but decent dining experience.
Dont miss the brussel sprouts. They are to die for!
Very nice dinner for my friends birthday. Our waitress was amazing and the food was outstanding.
This was a Valentines Day dinner with my wife. I booked a week in advance and was seated promptly upon arrival, however I ask for a booth and was told none were available and no option to wait at the bar until one opened. Small menu, food was good. Place was pretty nosy for a romantic date.
Great as always. Loved it
everything was good, but the tables are entirely too close in the bar area. I could feel the guys back behind me.
I was pleasantly surprised. Very quiet which is hard to find. Nice Ambiance. Food was very good. Drink was great also. I had the salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and a salad. Real cozy booth. Overall very nice. My husband enjoyed his chicken meal.
Our server was great! She had such the best attitude having to work Christmas Day... Food was great as well
We had a fun time enjoying great food and drinks. Service was perfect.
Light crowd, so we were served by the bartender, who was great. Since it was Wednesday, wine bottles were half-price. Found a great wine that I hadn’t tried before, based on the bartender’s recommendation. I’ve since picked up two bottles from the local store. Food was great, including the brisket-stuffed, bacon-wrapped jalapeños (beware that the seeds are not removed from one end, which turns the heat up tremendously). Crab cake salad was excellent. Great meal overall.
Love this place!
Great for quiet business lunches.
Front of dining is floor to ceiling windows, beautiful view of trees, etc.
Looking forward to returning, delicious and versatile menu of healthy options!
Asia was our waitperson. She was exceptional! Food was excellent. Loved this experience
Very good place next to LOOK theater although a little pricey for a Sunday afternoon - the food was delicious and the patio was perfect!
The food and drinks were good.
Everything was wonderful, but it did take a little longer than expected. Looking forward to going back and trying other menu items.
I was hoping for brunch but there isn't a lot to choose from. However the food was delish!!!! The my waitress was courteous and friendly! It's welcoming and all in all a very nice atmosphere. Definitely a place to come back too.
We were a few minutes late but the two lovely hostesses didn’t even mind and sat us immediately after checking my seating preference twice. The waitress on the other hand was a nuisance and very sassy. I told her multiple times we were just going to hang out and enjoy our drinks and app(which the place was empty, we drink a lot so that’s $ for y’all, and our movie didn’t start until 2 hours from then.) She left and came back almost immediately asking us about dinner, several times, each time. Please, stop rushing us after I’ve told you and just leave us alone if you aren’t refilling our drinks?? The sweet tea we requested she brought unsweetened. The drinks, apps and dinner did not even look like something “Ivy Kitchen” would serve. Mediocre and cheap and More like something from a night club rather than something worth a $200 bill. Those microwaved jalapeño popper that tasted like last week??? Yuck. When she brought out our dinner, I asked for the additional side for mine (which I asked and would’ve gladly paid for) she immediately cut me off, “um no ma’am it only comes with 1 side.” And then walked away. Okay???? Can I not pay for the additional side??? Don’t speak to me that way acting all sassy because you want to go home? My husband and I love LOOK and we live so close but we will go else where to eat before hand.
Friendly service. A nice variety of menu choices. This was for a business lunch. Everyone had something different and everyone enjoyed their meals.
Great place to hangout with friends before the movie! Nice 1/2 price bottled wine special on Wednesday’s
Food is always good and menu changes seasonally very welcome.
Servers very good too.
Good food but service needs help. We ordered dinner salads along with our meals. The server brought out both of our meals and one salad, all together. She was not paying any attention to us or she would have noticed that we did not get our salads before dinner. She took the cost of ONE salad off the bill. Also, we had to ask for drink refills, and she would bring one and not ask the other person if they wanted a refill. Just not very professional at all. As I said the meal was tasty, but the Ceasar Salad had way too much dressing on it. Another think I did not care for is that they do not offer any dinner rolls or bread. We probably will not be back. There are too many good restaurants in this area that get it right.
Food was absolutely delicious. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely frequent again.
Dinner and a movie is stepped up a notch with the proximity of Look Theater and Ivy Kitchen. Walk down the hall of the theater and step right into Ivy Kitchen and enjoy an upscale spin on classic American food. The pesto hummus appetizer is creamy and rich and served with a healthy serving of vegetables and pita bread but don’t leave without trying the Pimento Cheese Dip. Flatbreads are great for sharing and I love the Fig Prosciutto with Goat Cheese but the classics are on the menu too. The Grilled Scottish Salmon is simply prepared and perfectly cooked - moist and slightly pink. Side dishes of Brussel Sprouts, Sweet Potato Fries and Macaroni and Cheese are hard to resist. Earlier in the week I went to Look and Dine with food provided by Ivy Kitchen and no other theater that serves food comes anywhere close to the quality provided here. I want to go back for the grilled chicken sandwich with pesto mayonnaise and arugula but I may need to try the fried chicken sandwich recommended by my waiter. Cocktails are excellent and wine list offers a great selection. Don’t just go to a movie - go to Look Theater and enjoy a great meal from Ivy Kitchen.
Meh, it was ok. Not as good as I expected based on the reviews. The food was average at best.
Service was poor. We were celebrating a special occasion, birthday, and following the main course meal, we were presented with the bill on the table. No question to ask if we were happy with the meal, or if anyone was interested in coffee and dessert. The restaurant was quiet, so there wasn't a line of people waiting.
Second, the fries were cold on one of the plates and the $30 steak fillet mignon was well done when asked for medium. I informed the waiter, he didn't seem to care. So I ended up eating a steak that tasted like cardboard.
Their appetizers are good and nice selections of wines. Overall, for the price and ambience, the service is poor and ultimately, they don't seem to care. Never will go back.
My entire family enjoys Ivy Kitchen. It has something on the menu for everyone.
The food was very good. I had the Salmon with Asparagus and my dinner partner had the Poke and the Toffee cake for dessert.
The ambiance was nice
Our waiter confused out checks and charge me for her dessert Other than that it was an over all great evening.
Excellent food and service, well paced and well suited for pre or post show dinner or drinks.
We went to Ivy Kitchen for brunch and enjoyed our meal. We’re looking forward to returning for dinner someday soon.
