Have been there many times, the never miss. The food is always fresh.
The Ivy is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is always excellent, the service is attentive and friendly, and the owner supports local youth enrichment activities.
My husband and I had a great time. The food was good. The service was alright. Somehow our ticket was "dropped" so we waited for our salads. Our server apologized profusely. The fireplace was beautiful and the outdoor seating looked nice, too bad the weather was horrible. It was an overall nice night. We plan on coming back.
Wonderful food and a great experience. Will keep coming back.
A step up from your typical chain steakhouses at an affordable price.
The ambiance is unique, church like. Food is good. I had crab topped tilapia and my girlfriend had crab cakes which she liked. Shall return.
Love this restaurant. Food is always great and the outside patio area is wonderful in the nice weather
Beautiful setting and outstanding service.
3 of 4 meals were extremely good. The chicken meal that my mom got was very dry and over cooked. It was a bummer that she didn’t really enjoy her dinner when everyone else did.
Ive in Wheaotn is go to place for dinners and celebrations. Dick and the staff are friendly and serious about service. Great comfort food, good ribs along with some pretty tasty appetizers, you can not go wrong. We are looking forward to better weather for a little pation dining!
We had a wonderful experience. We loved the ambiance. The fire was a great touch being it was nippy outside. Our waitress Heather was great. Very attentive without being annoying.
Unfortunate menu choice? Fish was not fully de-boned and the skin was left on (purposely?). Great aide salad and sorbet/ice cream. Choose a different entree.
We visited Ivy with another couple. It was a first visit for all of us.
Quaint and charming. Staff very polite, professional and accommodating.
Food was delicious. Each of us had different entrees. I had the Tournedos of Beef (excellent), husband had the Salmon (also excellent). Our friends were also delighted with their meals.
Michael our waiter knew his job and performed it expertly.
We definitely are going to visit again, but go when the weather allows us to sit and dine in their outdoor courtyard. It just looked so inviting from our vantage point.
Thank you Ivy for providing for a wonderful evening for my husband and I and our dear friends.
Warm, friendly, and great local eatery. The owner, Dick, is a jewel.
Good food and service. Hard to find parking. Garage is behind the restaurant and not well marked in busy downtown. A bit weak on vegetarian since only real option not available. Overall a nice lunch with a friend
We enjoyed our evening. The fish entrees were great. Our server Hilary was very friendly.
We love The Ivy restaurant. The ambiance is great. The food is delicious. We love dining at this restaurant.
Great food and service!
This is a great place to go and decompress after a challenging week. The specials are always interesting, the drinks flow freely and the patrons are always fun to speak with about news of the day.
As always Ivy was a wonderful dining experience. The lamb chops were delicious; they have become a tradition for us. The service was attentive and sensitive to our needs. And of course the ambiance is charming. Highly recommend Ivy. We’ll be back.
We're regulars at Ivy, and it never disappoints. The rack of lamb is THE BEST! Also enjoyed the crab encrusted tilapia. Creamy $3 gelato is a perfect way to end the meal.
Food was excellent, great service, just the right amount of attention, didn't rush us. Beautiful and unique venue. While not Ivy's fault, there was quite a noisy table right next to ours that made it difficult to hear our own conversation at times - almost asked to be moved. I'm sure they would have accommodated us if we had requested it.
We enjoyed the mashed potatoes with green beans and salad. The main course was the excellent Walleye followed up by a small but tasty desert. The bar area has TV's and gets pretty lively after 6:30pm on a weekend. The place has valet parking and only the curb to step up if you have problems walking or are in a wheel chair. The inside of this place is so interesting and they always change things around seasonally to make it fun. Can't wait for the patio to reopen this spring.
One of my favorite restaurants! It's cozy, elegant, classy, and yummy.
As always, terrific food, service and ambiance. Our go-to place and we love it.
Ruth,our server, was outstanding.
Good food as always. Great venue, interesting building. Very friendly staff. Very good decent wine list. Have been here many times. This time the food was the star, tasty and good quality. The service left something to be desired today. I really dislike plates being cleared from some at the table when others are still eating, even when someone has on purpose left knives and forks crossed, not aligned to signal the dish having been finished off. Also getting asked if we want coffees or desserts while two people were still eating main course was very annoying. Otherwise ok.
Always a delightful experience when we dine in the bar. Personal treatment, food quality and atmosphere are all excellent.
One of our favorite restaurants. Very good food. We both had the beer can chicken which was the best we ever had. Our cocktails were made perfectly. The only problem was that our waiter was very busy and we had to wait in between servings. The waiter was very nice however. We would recommend this restaurant.
We had a wonderful meal at Ivy on Saturday. There were three of us and we each chose something different and all were very happy with our choices. I would have to say the Walleye was some of the most delicious fish Ive had. Service was equally good
The prime rib on Fridays is always excellent!
Love the food and good atmosphere
I think the service and ambiance is fine, however the food is okay, but not up to standards of price and upscale restaurant.
Great place to dine! The favorite of my wife and me.
We truly enjoy the food and consider Ivy one of our "go to" places. However, it might be time for the chef to mix up the menu offerings a bit.
Great location - food and ambiance. A bit pricy, but that comes with its downtown Wheaton location.
I grew up in Wheaton and never had been to Ivy. We went there for a birthday celebration and chose Ivy out of convenience (b/c my parents still live in Wheaton). It was pretty fantastic. I was impressed with the food and the service. Thanks, Ivy!!
We were seated on the top floor with doors open to a private cocktail party coming in and out for an hour. Could not converse at all. Wait staff was very sympathetic. Owners were out for the evening. There were visibly 4-5 tables for four open on lower floor. Open Table reservations were clearly not treated as well as phone-ins or locals.
I have dined at IVY several times and have always been very pleased with the service. Erin has been our server a few times and provides exceptional service. She is thoughtful and friendly, a very welcome sight when we visit.
