Ivan Ramen imagines the Classic NY diner as seen through the Japanese lens. The food is incredible, the service outstanding, the menu is uniquely Ivan Orkin. Ivan Ramen celebrates Ivan’s creativity through the lens of his life journey. His effortless blending of: his New York roots, his classic French training, and his deep understanding of Japan, color the menu and the restaurant. Ramen here is clearly a must, but you should not miss out on the amazing array of other dishes, which are perfect for sharing while you enjoy a well selected sake. Casual, comfortable and quirky with splashes of art inspired by pop culture and movies, Ivan Ramen is simply a fun restaurant.

Can't go wrong with anything. The Japanese fried chicken and the Mazeman were excellent!
Fantastic service, even better ramen! Outdoor seating was very comfortable - lots of heaters and warm sake made this a must do for outdoor winter dining.
Table ready when we arrived. Nice back patio. The food was amazing. 100% as expected after washing the Netflix episode.
Delicious mazemen and beer selection!
Food was simply outstanding, fairly priced, came out fast and the waiter was attentive and very friendly. It was so good, I came back the next day from Pennsylvania for more.
We were planning on going here at the start of the year but due to one too many reasons we pushed it back all the way to the end of the year. It was our first time and we had the Chicken Paitan and the Vegan Shoyu. The Chicken Paitan was delicious - the minced chicken, chicken broth, and the combination of all the flavors makes it a must-have - strongly recommend. The Vegan Shoyu however was not as good - the Tofu was a little too salty, and overall the broth was not complimenting the dish - playing around and perhaps adding different flavors could probably help.
Perhaps this was a one-off so would definitely visit again.
Great food, great atmosphere and great service. They recommended us what to eat and all they said was great really good food and also really good price for a really good food
Couldn't be better. Super good food
Favorite ramen In the city - fried chicken bites a must!
Best ramen in Nyc
Always a treat
It was absolutely amazing food top notch from drinks to entree! Service was very attentive and helpful! Did a great job in these times of making it a quite and fun experience!
We love Ivan ramen -- incredible fried chicken, awesome spicy ramen, and amazing pork buns. A must go!!
I was not the biggest fan of ramen but after going to Ivan Ramen i love it!!
My thought while eating this delicious ramen was “I could die right now and be happy” That’s how good it was. Everything else I’ve eaten throughout my entire life does not add up to the flavor that I found at Ivan Ramen. Since I left, people have asked me repeatedly what my tattoo means across the small of my back. It’s a noodle, a ramen noodle, in the shape of Ivan.
Ramen was amazing. Outdoor seating space wasn't very comfortable.
Ivan never disappoints and now that they added desserts, hmmmm def one of my top 10 restaurants in NYC.
Poor outdoor dining arrangement. No place to hang coats. Food was salty
Was everything I hoped it would be!
Food is delicious and service is phenomenal. We are well taken care of every time we visit. We leave full and happy.
The food was fantastic. We had seen the chefs table episode on Ivan so we were curious to see if the food matched the hyped. It surpassed. The broth was layered and flavorful. The noodles, my favorite part, were so delicious. We both could have just kept on eating. Our server was at tentative and warm and extremely personable. We look forward to our return with friends and family.
Excellent service and food
Really had a great time
Food excellent for Ramen. Very different ways to prepare a Ramen Noodle dish.
With COVID 19, seating on the street, it would've been a little nicer for us diners to have more separation between our table and the auto traffic on the street.
Maybe plastic window above the table as opposed to it being open.
The night we ate it was a big rain storm, so it was a little damp from cars going by, and spraying water at wooden divider between tables and street.
Great food, service and ambience. One of my favorite ramen places
Great food and service. The only complaint is the bao bun was a bit on the salty side.
Outdoor seating only. Food was great. Service was great. Great place to stop by for a bowl of ramen.
Our meal was delicious and Jhovana was an outstanding host. Can’t wait to be back!
Delicious! We ordered I voted today (local IPA) and house white wine. Started off with fried chicken and bao buns. The ramen was to die for! Delicate and Smokey. Ended the evening with the black sesame and sweet cream soft serve. Will be back soon!
Wonderful food, as always! The Chicken Paitan is one of my favorite bowls of ramen in the city, and the Crispy Eggplant was fantastic.
The food was delicious, the soft serve dessert was very good!
the service was very good.
The ramen was delicious! I liked the broth and the veggies. I did not like the ground chicken and the server was too invasive.
One of my favorite spots in the LES. Great ambiance, even with outdoor only. Staff is always super friendly and helpful.
If you're looking for a starter, the eggplant is unreal and the spicy pickles are a must. I'm a vegetarian – I get the Vegan Shoyu with a side of chili oil. It's super flavorful and rich, something that vegetarian ramens can lack. My partner gets the Chicken Paitan (apparently Ivan's favorite) and goes crazy over it every time. I've eaten here more times than I can count, and am always happy.
Server was fun and attentive, as was the cleaning crew. Attentive enough to do their jobs amidst COVID, but not too much as to be worried for crowding.
Outstanding experience from top to bottom. The wait staff (Will) was extremely attentive, and gave excellent suggestions. The food was incredibly impressive, and reasonably priced.
Karage chicken so good. Triple pork really good, however if your salt sensitive be careful, wish i could've ate more, one item off my bucket list
Ivan Ramen is one of my favorite places to eat in NYC. The food is incredible and the outdoor back patio is perfectly COVID-friendly and serene. We did have to wait for 30 minutes after our reservation for our table to be open, but the staff (without a single request from us) offered us complimentary appetizers to thank us for our patience.
Simply the best. The food has so much depth and intenstity. Never had better ramen. Ivan's chicken broth is off the charts. I would eat here every day if I lived in the city. His servers are so amazing and upbeat. Friendly and seem to all work together. This restaurant is my happy place!!!!
Absolutely incredible!! The food was amazing, the staff was incredible. Highly recommend checking this place out. Our waiter Will was so knowledgeable and every recommendation he made was spot on! 4 for 4- drinks, apps, entree and dessert. We enjoyed our experience here and can’t wait to go bask again.
