Yummy vegan ramen. Good vegetarian options

Spot we had outside was a little cramped but fine. Server was super friendly and went out of his way for us. Food was excellent. Had the fried eggplant to start and then the Shio ramen.

As usual, excellent food and incredible service! Was an awesome treat and I’d go back anytime!

Always a favorite when we visit ny. Chicken patain & triple garlic pork ramens rock. Eggplant and string bean appetizers were both good, though the second was a little heavy handed on chili.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is incredible. Obviously most people come here for ramen. My favorite is the Crispy Eggplant and Pork buns starter, and the Vegan ramen for main. I'm not even a vegan I just really like them. You can tell how much effort and thought went into each dish. My boyfriend isn't a fan of ramen but they have Katsu Curry which is a super universal dish so don't worry if you're not into Ramen they have other yummy dishes. I always bring people here and 19/20 times they're obsessed. The food is hearty but doesn't leave you feeling groggy. Its the best food for when you want somewhere to go which isn't pretentious but has a nice vibe and incredible food.

Ramen at Ivan is absolutely great, probably the best. However, this time around, my Tonkotsu was not as perfect as in previous occasions. Keep always quality to the top!

The food at Ivan Ramen was everything we'd hoped for and more! In addition to the absolutely incredible dishes, the service was outstanding. Our server was super helpful and had a great personality. We can't wait to go back!

Absolutely the most disrespectful staff ever. Arrived for my reservation a few minutes early and was told “your table is hanging out... it’ll be just a few minutes.” I said no problem and waited. Within 10 minutes, two more couples came in and were seated immediately. The manager (I think) even came to me and said “the table before you was late so it’ll be a bit.” I even heard a server say “oh they’re playing games at the table so it’ll be a while” to the hostess.

Waited 25 minutes past my reservation time and was never seated. Decided to eat elsewhere. Embarrassingly terrible way to run a business honestly.

The cauliflower appetizer is a must. Ramen was very good. Eggplant appetizer was delicious.

Our experience was just A+ all around. Food exceeded our already high expectations as we've heard of Ivan Ramen's reputation - we started with fried chicken and steamed pork buns and had the Tokyo Shio and Tonkatsu ramen. Excellent recommendations! The staff was super accommodating and delightful - extremely grateful they went above and beyond with my birthday surprise request for my friend. Thank you for such a great experience.

Food really good, but staff rushed us out. Only had an hour 15 minutes to eat. Prob would’ve chosen some place else if I’d known that

Delicious tonkatsu ramen !

Ivan Ramen is one of the most uniquely delicious experiences in the city. The food here is seriously legit, yet they make dining fun and don't seem to take themselves too seriously. The beer selection is one of the best around, and the staff is always incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy that you decided to come through. If I were to ever open a restaurant, regardless of the genre, I'd look to Ivan Ramen's vibe and ethos for inspiration. Can't wait for their indoor dining area to reopen, especially the bar!

Great outdoor space. It was freezing out and yet it was warm and cozy on the back patio.

Service was prompt and super friendly.

If I could rate it 6 stars I would- by far one of my favorite spots in the city, and well deserving of the honor.

The food is so good and they have the best covid setup (outdoor dining in the back which prevents wind, so not as chilly)

So happy during winter Covid restrictions to be able to reserve an outdoor table with a small heater in the back, away from the noise of the street. Delicious ramen in a homey environment, just a few blocks from my daughter's school, NESt+m. I will definitely be back!

The appetizers didn’t disappoint! We ordered every dish off of the menu, and every single one was delicious! I am not a ramen person, but my dining buddies loved what they had. From what I Tasted out of their bowls, the texture of the ramen was perfectly divine.

Will definitely return! The back area outdoor space is pleasant enough. Could do with some heaters though not sure if they are allowed per NYC code.

Good meal! Was seated in the backyard. It was a busy Saturday so waited 20 minutes for my table.

Ivan Ramen is one of my favorite restaurants in the city and I’ve been craving it during the pandemic. Took the train from Brooklyn today to dine with a friend. The outdoor dining setup was fantastic! Chicken paitan was spectacular (as it always is) and the house sake did not disappoint.

Can't go wrong with anything. The Japanese fried chicken and the Mazeman were excellent!

Fantastic service, even better ramen! Outdoor seating was very comfortable - lots of heaters and warm sake made this a must do for outdoor winter dining.

Food was simply outstanding, fairly priced, came out fast and the waiter was attentive and very friendly. It was so good, I came back the next day from Pennsylvania for more.
