About Iva Lee's
Welcome to Iva Lee's Southern and Creole Cuisine. Iva Lee was born and raised in the South and came from a long line of Southern women who passed down recipes since their arrival in America in I640. Iva Lee was my beloved grandmother. She took pride in preparing a wide variety of Southern meals and classic dishes from New Orleans for family and welcomed friends.

We have a private heated and covered outdoor patio that can seat up to 32 guests.
Our back dining room can accommodate up to 42 guests. Our front dining room can accommodate up to 24 guest.
The restaurant is available for private events from 7:00am - 4:00pm Tuesday - Saturday. It's capacity is 98 guests (66 dining room/32 patio).
The restaurant is available anytime on Sunday's or Monday's.

We had a great time on New Year's Eve at Iva Lee's with our party of 12! The ambiance in the dining room and the excellent food and beverages was a pleasure for all. We love to dance so it was fun to have the DJ but I must say I would rather have a live band especially at Iva Lees as they always have such great music. It was fun to have a DJ who brought in the New year hour with a count down but I think a strong band leader could do the same.
Food was good, but really slow in coming....salad took almost 30 minutes. We finally asked the waitress whether lettuce was being grown out back? Nice table...maitre'd worked hard to get us a nice table...Fried chicken was only a breast? Some of us like dark meat!
Service could have been a bit faster....my husband ordered another wine, she totally forgot it...but she was friendly enough? We'll try it again, all about supporting local spots!
We enjoyed our date very much. We were really pleased that the busboy brought out bread right away. The bread and honey butter was delicious. We ordered the hushpuppies and enjoyed them dipped in the sauce that accompanied them. Then we ordered the meat loaf and thought it was darn good.
After dinner we danced and a good time was had by all.
Great Restaurant, the staff is incredibly friendly, the owner Eric is extremely personable and cares about your experience and food. Very attentive staff, from the top notch bartenders, extremely attentive wait staff, to the buss personnel. I really can’t say enough about this restaurant.
We were seated right away and the waitress was enthusiastic and helped us for our first visit. She didn't stir us wrong. Everything we ate was wonderful and the drinks were tasty. Loved the music in the background. I actually thought I could have been in the south. I had the shrimp and grits, it was my first taste of grits, the sauce made it all wonderful. The key lime pie at the end topped it all off nicely. Thank you for the experience.
Iva Lee's is always a great time. The band that played Saturday 9/22/17- The Chris Andersen Band- was fantastic! The play list was all of the best classic rock and blues- Often played even better than the originals. This three -piece band had an unbelievably full and fat (in a good way) sound. The vocals were spot on every song. With deep soulful vocals, expert bass player, flawless lead guitar, and an amazing (truly!) drummer, this band is the BEST I’ve seen in many years!
Iva Lee's features southern food which we knew little about - interesting and tasty choices, although the gumbo was lukewarm, and not quite as delicious as it could have been. Service was very attentive and professional in both the bar and at table. We brought our own wine and it was served well timed and thoughtfully. Nice to have something different in the area :)
Met my Brother/Sisterinlaw there they had not been before. We try to meet in San Clemente for dinner. Sister-in-Law to try a new place, I had been to Iva Lee's before and loved the food. Brother & Sisterin law loved it as well. All the food we had was delicious. We will go back and take more friends and family.
Our best meal on vacation.For appetizer we shared the gator fries, they were really good. The shrimp and grits we're as good as Emirills in New Orleans. The kids shared the meatloaf and the Mac and cheese and it was to much food. Heart shaped cornbread was a huge hit at the table.
Went here expecting great food and dance, food was ok, drinks were good, dancing sucked, bands sound system almost blew my head off from a technial error, suprised non of the crowd had a heart attack since 90% was of senior citizen age, like 60-70, but they were having fun!
Just not what we expected, so we went to stillwells in Dana Point for some fun thats a bit more our speed.
I had jumbulaya, shrimt and scallops were small like from a can, was expecting to be wowed by the food but it was nothing to toot your horn about.
People watching was great, saw a 70 year old man doing the robot!
We dined here a short time ago. We decided to take my mother who is from out of town and she thought it was among the best meals she's ever had (and she's been out a LOT!!) We had a great time--great servers--the food delicious--and the overall dining experience was absolutely delightful.
