As far as today, the best steaks and lamb chops that the market has to offer!
The restaurant was closed. It’s been closed for a while and they’re putting a different restaurant in there. Open Table CONFIRMED my reservation without them being open! My guests and I were quite annoyed.
This restaurant is closed!
I love this place . the food is always good. specially the house kabab
Nice place, amazing food
my friends and I like it so much....
This restaurant has been in it's location for several years now and is in need of a good cleaning and updating, especially the restrooms. Pretty nasty!!!
The food is absolutely outstanding, Israeli/MiddleEastern
The restaurant was closed and never called to inform me that they were closing.
Tonight my husband and I had the twenty+ salads, yum! and we ordered one of the mixed kabobs that came with two sides as well. They should make better french fries - a lil soggy and not crispy, otherwise everything was SO DELICIOUS - we will be back again, I highly recommend. The service is excellent! We went home with lunch for the next day too!
Great location, lots of parking. The service is geeat and the food is delicious!!!
Very disappointing experience. Tasteless food and low quality standard.
There are better choices elsewhere for their type of cuisine.
The food is delicious!!! Everything was fresh and tasty :) Our favorites salads were the hummus, Babaganush (eggplants in mayo), corn-mushroom, red cabbage in mayo, and red beet in vinegar.
The resturant is clean, the service was good, and the meat is delicious! (We ate the Kabab and chicken hearts)
We will come back :)
We love it here. Great family style authentic Israeli food. Always delicious!
Terrific food (in grotesquely large portion). Just thinking about it creates in me a longing to go back!!
Love this place! The Israeli food and the array of dishes are so delicious! Great for meat lovers and Vegetarians. The SweetBreads were my favorite!!
We ate at the restaurant about 4 years ago. It was a Saturday night and there wasn't an empty table. This past Saturday night there were only about 4 tables of guest. There have been a lot negative reviews and I would say some part were true and not. The service was great and fast and very professional even though they were very young. The amount of veg trays were good, not great but good and plentiful. They brought as much as we asked for. NOW for the major negative, there were 6 of us, and the bill with tip was $260, only one drink. The meat dishes are extremely expensive for the quantity. I will say the quality was good and better than expected but the a side of lamb chops $38, that's on top of paying per person $11 for the veg assortment which was a good buy. All in all we might go back but not for another 4-5 years.
There is definitely something different and missing this could be a great restaurant again that it use to be and they need to step up their game plan.
Food is great and plentiful. There is a great variety. It is also a great value. Really love this place.
Been coming here for awhile. Excellent service, great food as always...
Chicken thigh skewers were delicious but our friend's lamb was tough and inedible.
I LOVE this place! The only downside--it's hard to stop eating because the food is so good. And don't get me started on the bread. It's unbelievably delicious and cooked on the spot. Everyone at the restaurant is very nice and it's clear they like seeing you enjoy the food. It's my favorite L.A. restaurant. One word of advice: Show up hungry!
Manager or owner is just a nasty man and should not be in the restaurant business. As I left I told him take a good look because I'm never coming back.
Staff worked slow, we took servings, but they put little food, very cheap, loved this place before, but would not recommend to my friends
I am never disappointed at this restaurant;however they should include wine from california as well
Food is fabulous. Tons of very different and delicious salads and vegetables while still being a meat-centric grill. Their meat dishes are delish. The lamb is so good! Try the garlic fries , they are like homemade chips with lemon and garlic. Fantastic service. Open all day on Sundays with ample parking.
The food was not as good as it used to be before and the price was too high.
Never would go again
love eating here, the food is always delicious.
This place is great for large groups and bringing out of town guests. Service and Food are both great!
Service was terrible, food was kind of tasteless and overly mild without flavor and it was pricey with a $15 corkage fee on top of every thing else. And the service was awful! We actually had to hunt down the server to have our order taken, and we were one of only 6 people in the restaurant. We won't be back.
we LOVED the food, and there is a lot of it. make sure to share as entrees are huge! the 22 salad option is fantastic - everything was delicious! we will be back for sure.
Excellent Middle Eastern food with an unusual twist. The bread is not the typical pita, but a lighter variant that I've never experienced before. In addition to the standard Middle Eastern food, they have exotic stuff like Moroccan Cigars. Try this restaurant - you'll like it.
Food is very good. Lunch special is more reasonable than menu, but still high price for the amount of main course. You get only one skewer of meat with a ton of salads. At hummus bar you get 2 skewers but fewer side dishes for about the same price.
The food was excellent--classical Middle Eastern fare, very tasty and delicious.
We will definitely come back!
Our waitress did not come back to our table. There was an automatic 18% charge for gratuity, so she made no effort. We had to track her down for more water and the bill. Food was good.
The salads are delicious and I really love the stuffed eggplant dish with beef and lamb. The prices are a bit high, but worth a special celebration or evening.
very disappointing and likely our last visit.
when we first ate here years ago, the salads would be refilled as the plates emptied. this didn't happen on our two most recent visits (over a year apart). we used to be offered to-go boxes for the uneaten portions of the salads. this hasn't happened the last two visits. (i even remember a waitress offering to refill a salad plate when we were full JUST so we could take home leftovers.) i don't know if the policy changed or if we just changed our luck with the customer service of our waitresses.
the salad spread is fun, but with a party of three, the plates take up the entire table. when our entrees arrived... barely 10 minutes into our dining.... there was no where to put the new giant plates. my husband, who doesn't really like about 15 of the 20 salads (but pays for them anyway... which is fine, but why we never go when it's just the two of us), was willing to switch his plate for his entree. i already had food on my plate and didn't want to switch. waitress seemed annoyed by this. i asked her to just box it up since there was literally nowhere to put it down. she chastised me for not even tasting the entree.
Food is plentiful and good. Prices are very reasonable.
Expensive, small portions and poor quality meats.
Food and service was good. Outdoor patio is large and pleasant. The bread is unique and delicious. Wine list is intersting.
Fun atmosphere, good meats and assortment of salads.. Will definitely be back again.
Great food and lots of it!!!!! Go when you're hungry!!!!!
It was a bday get together that they knew but still charged the bday cake. Which they shouldn't have had!
