Italian Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Noise level high with children's indoor playground next to the Bar.
Great desserts, but Italian food not recognized from which province.
The Hotel has a good entrance, but the restaurant was a long indoor walk and then a short outside walk which it had not a covered roofing. Got Wet!!!
This restaurant is at The Breakers hotel in west palm. the setting is exquisite, valet parking only. an amazing lobby. attentive service people. We had a glass of wine first in the hotel bar, be prepared to pay 15 to 20 a drink there! The Italian Restaurant is in a lovely location and is family friendly so be prepared to see some children. I was disappointed that we had several waiters, some not knowing what we had told the other one. Also the food is frankly, average, and yet entrees are 25 $ to 30 $ a plate. So go if you just want to see an amazing property but don't go for the quality of the food.
Hi, we love t Italian restaurant as we have a 5 year old child n it's so nice we can eat and also watch our chrildren have fun. Service is always great n Besty t manager is very sweet n accommodating n just make our visit so special that we keep coming back with our families.
This is a regular spot for us and our grandchildren. They love it here and it's great for the before and after. There's a great play room for little ones and a beautiful playground. The food is good and there's plenty for them to choose from. The service is great and it's geared for those dining with family.
The expectations of the experience of visiting the Italian restaurant fell short when it came to the meal. My Husband and I went to experience the Flavor Palm Beach at The Italian Restaurant and was visually pleased by the décor, atmosphere and service. The arrival of our food beckoned and promised great expectations. However, the flavors of the dish were not on par with its aroma.
For most of us, the Breakers is a special occasion dining experience. This time we tried the Italian Restaurant and it was a major, expensive disappointment. It was a slow evening for the restaurant but service was nothing like you'd expect from a mandatory 20% gratuity dining establishment. I had to pour the last of our wine and our waiter failed to transfer the information of a "garlic allergy" from my wife's entree to the salad he delivered loaded with garlic. The shared appetizer was excellent. One entree was quite good and the presentation was exceptional; however, the other was odd in its presentation and barely edible. In fact, it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. We foolishly brought it home and after looking at it, we threw it away. What were we thinking? Perhaps I should have complained, but I was so ticked at the evening that I simply paid the bill and vowed to never return.
I didn't know about the restaurant at the Breakers and thought it should be good . There needs to be mentioned that it's a hang out for families with young screaming and out of control children. We were seated next to the kitchen even with a reservation. Maybe I should have asked not to be sat there in my reservation .
We went there because we wanted to see The Historic Breakers and it was Flavor Palm Beach, a chance for us to learn about the area restaurants. We did not realize that the Italian Restaurant was their family friendly restaurant, and the noise level was a bit above our comfort level. That said, the dinners were all excellent and the service was exemplary. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and the resort itself. When we return for a meal, it will be to a different restaurant.
Date: 08/12/16 - I asked for a quiet table (it was our 50th Wedding Anniversary), and was told the only quiet seats were in the bar area, which did not sound all the pleasing, so we were directed to seats closer to the door. There were several happy and loud children (its what they do, as did ours when young) nearby in addition to many entering and departing a few feet from us.
The food was great, the service outstanding, but it would have made our very special night more memorable if we had been seated closer to the bar area. (I noticed a few couples seated there during our meal and also the wall separating them from the bar.....these seemed a very nice place to enjoy our meal and these were certainly isolated somewhat from the bar...I wish we had been better informed about that before being seated where we were).
Great food. Great service. Great fun.
I brought my mother for her 84th birthday, along with her partner and my seven-year-old daughter. Everyone enjoyed their dinner--my mom and partner from the reasonably-priced three course prix-fixe menu, and my daughter from the upscale kids menu. Across from the dining room, my daughter enjoyed the game room and playroom. The waitstaff couldn't have been more accommodating, pleasant and attentive. After dinner, my daughter burned off a few calories in the adjacent playground, then we all strolled through the hotel. Highly recommend.
My family and I have eaten at the Italian Restaurant every year when we visit The Breakers. Historically, it has been a high point of our family vacation - both for the wonderful food and the location of the kids club so close to the dining . The last two times we visited (once in June 2016 and the second time in July 2016), we were underwhelmed with the food and service. Gone is the attention to detail that we had come to expect, and the food was just okay. Nothing particularly delicious or impressive. The meal ended with a somewhat frozen piece of cheesecake that summed up the recent experiences - the warmth is missing from both the food and the ambience. I miss the Italian restaurant of old and I hope it returns to The Breakers before I do next year.
Food, particularly the Lasagna and veal parm were exceptional. Wine list is short, but robust enough for all price ranges and tastes. The server, Jake was great. Informative, authentic and appropriately attentive. The noise was a little more than anticipated, but fine after realizing the proximity to the arcade. This is. The family sit down restaurant at the breakers and all in all enjoyable for three business people not needing. To conduct business that night.
