We were quite disappointed. The place was quite empty for a Sat evening. Service was fair at best, food quality was okay however the overall vibe was odd. Doubt we would return.
Great meal! The Carbonara is to die for!
Nice quiet dinner. Great service. Excellent food and drinks.
We heard the pizza was very good—it was disappointing, and expensive considering
We love the Italian Restaurant. The Eggplant Parm was a bit dry though compared to when I use to order it before. I had a rose that I somehow was little bit allergic too, I was itching until I decided to stop drinking the wine. Otherwise everything was great. Staff was awesome the appetizers and the love love the breads!
Took my granddaughter to dinner and had a wonderful time. Was not rushed, food great, service awesome. Just a special evening.
Full of kids, zero ambiance. Odd location.....
As always the food and level of service was top notch!
Our service experience at The Italian was excellent, and everyone's meal was good, but not as memorable as one would hope considering the surroundings and pricing. Overall a very good experience, and would go back again.
Noise level largely a factor of this being a family restaurant, so not per se “an issue” for us. Great location as part of The Breakers Hotel.
Amazing . Fun for kids . Would go again. Great food.
Very poor Italian restaurant. Expensive for the quality of food we ate. It is eating at McDonalds. Children running around . It is a pizza and fries place. They charged 20% service charge. They should be getting 0 or 2%. What a rip off. That should a bid warning sign “a children’s restaurant. What a headache..open Table should take out this restaurant from their list. Or say a children’s restaurant.
This was our second visit to the Italian Restaurant with grandchildren, this time with a trio ages 3, 4 and 5. The staff is adept at dealing with kids and the space is set up well, with tables, chairs and banquettes arranged to maximize privacy. Another plus is a wonderful playground just outside the door and an indoor play space across the hall from the restaurant. These amenities--including free parking for those holding reservations--do not come cheap, but overall it was a memorable experience.
Very attentive staff, family friendly, food was excellent, menu has many choices.
Very disappointing experience. Unbeknownst to us, and not fully disclosed on the hotel website, the Italian Restaurant at the Breakers Hotel, is more like eating at a
Dave and Busters kidfest than a pleasant dining experience. Although the restaurant was beautiful, there were kids running around the restaurant the entire time we were there. There were also tables of unsupervised kids. We asked to move to another restaurant but no reservations were available on a Saturday night. The game room in another part of the building must be the draw. We were very frustrated to have spent $300 on dinner in what amounted to a Chuckie Cheese. Our servers Kevin and Patricia were wonderful. The food was delicious but way overpriced for the load and unrestrained kid environment. Don’t go here unless you have young kids and want to let them run unsupervised. Not what one would expect at a Breakers Hotel restaurant!!! Stay away if you want to have an adult dinner.
You definitely feel like the rich and famous. The food was superb and service was excellent. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese and my husband had the Lasagna and both were delicious. After eating the bread tray which came with 2 different type rolls and 3 different pate's and oils. The Cannoli's for dessert topped off the meal. We left with a shopping bag to go home with. This was a 5 star experience.
The food was delicious and portion size great. The service was also great.
Good food - I had spaghetti and meatballs- portion was small. Service was average. Very pricey - even for Palm Beach. It’s a been there - done that restaurant. A bit underwhelming.
We had an excellent Italian meal with some Chianti. Our server was excellent and very attentive.
Atmosphere was OK not that great, food was very average but very expensive. Location Of restaurant was great.
Our server was lovely and very attentive.
Didnt know it was a family restaurant. They have a play area for children. The food was good, service was adequate. Menu was limited. Was there for an early reservation, before the crowds so it was quiet.
Overall good experience but fell short of expectations. Valet left the light on so battery was dead when we get back from dinner, that did not help.
Food was so salty almost impossible to eat.
Too loud, overpriced, lousy bread fir an Italian restaurant, mediocre food. Not worth it.
Xmas - so fun for the kids
Perfect place for families, food was all amazing. Our waitress was amazing and accommodating with food allergies. Highly recommend.
I’ve had veal parmigiana here twice now and it’s so salty it’s almost not edible. At $47 this is not acceptable.
Fantastic Italian Food!
Excellent experience at the Italian restaurant. wonderful pasta dishes and our server was exceptional. I will definitely make it a priority to return next time at the Breakers.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! The bread tray and chocolate chip cookies were so yummy!
So special for the kids while still enjoyable for the adults.
Good restuarant, nothing to write home about. We made reservations thinking any restaurant at The Breakers would be the best, this restaurant was ok. Something we didnt realize which isnt the restaurants fault was this is the family restaurant, lots of kids!
For families with very young children only. Food terrible.
Birthday celebration!! Absolutely amazing dining experience! Excellent service and delicious dinner!
This is really a great place. All is done to enjoy a good time , with quality food and everything to have your children happy.
Food very good & tasty. Salmon & swordfish portions small. Veal chop good portion. Selective kids menu. Apps very good. Excellent service. Noise level good but it was a Monday night. We have been there before & would go back.
Kids running around everywhere. This was my fault not realizing this is the family friendly restaurant at the Breakers. If you are looking for a quite dinner this is not the place to go.
Nice restaurant, very pricey, way to loud of a night very hard to hear our friends at the table. Not possible to have a quiet conversation. Food was excellent, wine was excellent. Come with a lot of money in your pocket.
Just poor quality. Sauce, pasta and cheese tasted like a local pizza place. Used to be much different. Haven't been in a few years but definite quality decrease.
