The food was Very salty and oily...probably would not go back again..
Wonderful food in a peaceful outdoor setting. Pricey but worth it!
Our meal was very good. I had the eggplant Parm & my husband had the veal Marsala which was delicious We shared an appetizer of burrata cheese & heirloom tomatoes. Their bread service is outstanding! My issue is with the bill. Due to a death in the family, we were distracted when our server presented the bill. She never mentioned that a service charge was included. When I looked over the bill & saw that...we scratched off the gratuity we had added. Our policy is that if a server mentions gratuity is on the bill, we always tip extra. We obviously didn’t.
Very disappointed because it is described as a high end restaurant when all it is is an overrated, overpriced pizza kitchen that guests at the resort take their kids! Food was horrible and extremely pricey for the quality and also poor ambiance for couples as many kid running around. We took our parents or their 49th anniversary thinking it would be a special place!
Service was okay, food was very salty. Very kid friendly location.
Great evening, food and services we’re beyond excellent
Unfortunately the dishes weren’t great tasting as I expected. And then the bill came and I was flabbergasted buy how simple dishes could be so expensive. It was a little hard to get our servers attention when we were the only table inside. Not what I expected from a restaurant from the breakers hotel.
Food and service was great. Ambience was average. A little overpriced. Would go again. Probably not a fair evaluation because of COVID restrictions. Would like to try after pandemic ends.
The Italian is one of our favorites! We celebrated our daughter’s birthday and she said it was the best birthday ever!
Children and Family friendly. Treat the kids well and we will keep coming back. Food very nice.
Always a first class experience! A warm welcome by the hostess and was very accommodating to us. We picked our usual table which was available! What can I say the service was amazing! Luci was so charming and attentive! We ordered a bottle of wine which was delicious! Appetizer was the calamari! A huge portion enough to share! Crispy and sweet and delicious! Definitely a must! Their bread and their 3 dipping sauce-tomato herb butter, pesto and olive oil and herbs are amazing! Their warm focaccia and garlic knots are amazing!
We decided to all try something different! Our orders included: the cannoli, the rigatoni and vodka sauce, pappardelle with sausage and Cremini sauce
All three were huge portions and delicate and delicious! Beyond delicious! We took half home!
We ended with their famous Tiramisu and French Press coffee! Excellent food and service and very affordable especially for The Breakers! A beautiful setting! They also have a beautiful bar area with TVs and an huge outdoor covered patio with those big heaters for cooler nights! Very family friendly! I highly recommend!!!
It was so wonderful. Our server was amazing, very polite, and attentive. The ambiance was great. The bread appetizer is out of this world, trust me, you’ll order more. And the food...forgetaboutit! We will definitely be dining here again!
The tortellini and the chicken parm literally came out in one minute. It tasted like it was pre made and then heated up- the tomato sauce was almost like from a can . The food coming out so fast means that it wasn’t cooked to order. It was way over priced for what it was and we are so disappointed. It was our New Year’s Eve engagement anniversary as we got engaged there last year. The pear and Gorgonzola salad was good though
The experience began upon making entry to the property. The Breakers truly is the Epitome of Luxury and Elegance. Although the Italian Restaurant prides itself as being a family-style establishment...The casual upscale environment is Quite Special. The Eggplant & Chicken Parmigiana was Spectacular! Tender, Tasty accompanied with Truly Superb Traditional Italian Marinara Sauce! Delightful Staff and Great Attentive Service! Thank You for a Memorable Dining Experience!
We came to the property bringing out of town guests to see the Breakers Christmas decorations. . We enjoyed the experience and the food was delicious. It’s a tad casual and really a lot of kids and families and while we’re grandparents and can appreciate family’s dining , we were without children on this occasion. We could not get a reservation at any other spot on the property as it was the week between Christmas and New Years. The food and the service were above average. We were a little taken back by the added gratuity as we feel we’re more than generous tippers , but then couldn’t find a spot to add any extra and also noticed a service charge added on. We were only a party of 4. We love the Breakers and the property is hard to beat as a top 5 place in the world to stay and /or visit .
This restaurant NEVER disappoints. One of my favorite Palm Beach restaurants.
Always absolutely amazing! The people there are the best! Great food and atmosphere and wonderful for children! Cannot get enough of this place!
Irene was amazing . Took my daughter and friends fir an amazing evening
The lights and decorations were like a movie set
Great place , good service and very fine italian food
Nice enough overall. Service felt rushed, which was not ideal for Christmas dinner or the price. Also, light display outside was not lit all the way, which was another reason we chose this restaurant. We thought our 12 yo would really enjoy the display. That was disappointing. $300.00 for 2 adults, 1child. 1appetizer, 3 entree’s, 4 cocktails, 1 lemonade. 20% gratuity mandatory.
Great food, service and ambiance! We highly recommend The Italian Restaurant. The pastas were wonderful! It all was wonderful!
Very clean in the Covid era and that is important.
Maybe because of Covid cleaning, the evening we were there the lighting was off.
Very bright ceiling lights were on “high” should be dimmed properly.
Best Italian in Palm Beach County! Service is equally amazing as always. You’re at The Breakers 😉🥳🥳🇺🇸🇺🇸
Will not be going back, the food was not good, my spaghetti with marinara sauce was tasteless, did not think the rest of the food was anything special. And I hated the paper on top of the table cloths, really PAPER?. For the price you are charged does not feel it was worth it. The service was good until the end and it was a while before she came back and the place was kinda empty.
Service was great but the food was not very good.
Pretty decent wine, good server, great food and excellent atmosphere.
Excellent service. Food was delicious. It was a perfect night to sit outside. I highly recommend.
We were quite disappointed. The place was quite empty for a Sat evening. Service was fair at best, food quality was okay however the overall vibe was odd. Doubt we would return.
Great meal! The Carbonara is to die for!
Nice quiet dinner. Great service. Excellent food and drinks.
We heard the pizza was very good—it was disappointing, and expensive considering
We love the Italian Restaurant. The Eggplant Parm was a bit dry though compared to when I use to order it before. I had a rose that I somehow was little bit allergic too, I was itching until I decided to stop drinking the wine. Otherwise everything was great. Staff was awesome the appetizers and the love love the breads!
Took my granddaughter to dinner and had a wonderful time. Was not rushed, food great, service awesome. Just a special evening.
Full of kids, zero ambiance. Odd location.....
As always the food and level of service was top notch!
Our service experience at The Italian was excellent, and everyone's meal was good, but not as memorable as one would hope considering the surroundings and pricing. Overall a very good experience, and would go back again.
Noise level largely a factor of this being a family restaurant, so not per se “an issue” for us. Great location as part of The Breakers Hotel.
Amazing . Fun for kids . Would go again. Great food.
Very poor Italian restaurant. Expensive for the quality of food we ate. It is eating at McDonalds. Children running around . It is a pizza and fries place. They charged 20% service charge. They should be getting 0 or 2%. What a rip off. That should a bid warning sign “a children’s restaurant. What a headache..open Table should take out this restaurant from their list. Or say a children’s restaurant.
This was our second visit to the Italian Restaurant with grandchildren, this time with a trio ages 3, 4 and 5. The staff is adept at dealing with kids and the space is set up well, with tables, chairs and banquettes arranged to maximize privacy. Another plus is a wonderful playground just outside the door and an indoor play space across the hall from the restaurant. These amenities--including free parking for those holding reservations--do not come cheap, but overall it was a memorable experience.
