Here, family-friendly takes on new meaning. Let the kids explore the arcade and 1,000-gallon saltwater aquarium while you relax with a glass of red. Salute.
This is really a great place. All is done to enjoy a good time , with quality food and everything to have your children happy.
Food very good & tasty. Salmon & swordfish portions small. Veal chop good portion. Selective kids menu. Apps very good. Excellent service. Noise level good but it was a Monday night. We have been there before & would go back.
Kids running around everywhere. This was my fault not realizing this is the family friendly restaurant at the Breakers. If you are looking for a quite dinner this is not the place to go.
Nice restaurant, very pricey, way to loud of a night very hard to hear our friends at the table. Not possible to have a quiet conversation. Food was excellent, wine was excellent. Come with a lot of money in your pocket.
Just poor quality. Sauce, pasta and cheese tasted like a local pizza place. Used to be much different. Haven't been in a few years but definite quality decrease.
We had dinner at 7pm on a Monday evening when the hotel had fewer guests than usual. With just a few tables occupied it was a quiet and pleasant experience. The service and food was excellent. As the location is designed to draw families it is easy to see how the environment could have been very different on another night.
It was very loud with kids running around. I was told this but decided to try.
The special $39 dinner just ok. Too many beans w the shrimp dish.
The food was delicious. Our server was fabulous. It's really loud in there which made me a little nervous since we all were there for the first time. All in all everything was wonderful and we will be back.
Muchos niños gritando y llorando, el restaurante con un ambiente muy oscuro y la comida nada del otro mundo para el precio que cobran. Pedí un pescado.
The Hotel is beautiful! The restaurant was average .. I expected more do to friends that had recommended the Breakers restaurants! I guess I have to try them all to see witch one is the WOW one!
While the food is good, the attraction here is the building itself and the history behind it. The hotel is a living, beautiful and well maintained museum. It should not be missed.
A charming old World hotel. The Italian Restaurant is their family restaurants with a playroom and right next to the playground.
We decide to try the Flavors of Palm beach menu, 3 courses for $ 39.
They have nice but small wine list that is pricey but this is a 5 * hotel.
They serve 3 different breads, Italian, Focaccia, and rolls with an excellent pesto, roasted red pepper spread and olive oil.
For starters, we had the EGGPLANT ROLLATINI, mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta, and homemade Tomato Sauce and a MARGHERITA PIZZA with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil. Both were very good.
For mains, my wife ordered the CHICKEN ALLA ROMANA, chicken, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, over spaghetti in a light tomato sauce , very good . I had the SHRIMP ALLA TOSCANA, shrimp, cannellini beans, kale, tomato, and white wine over linguine also very good.
For dessert, we had the WARM CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES Freshly Baked and the S’MORES PIE dark chocolate cream, toasted marshmallow meringue, graham cracker crust, and vanilla ice cream.
Very good and attentive service.
The Italian restaurant at the breakers was very good our server was excellent! The ambience was very nice it’s a family restaurant so it was a bit noisy! I highly recommend the calamari it was tender and tasty. The lasagna was also a good choice!
Our waiter was so attentive to our very active 2 yr. old. Food was great.
So great for families! Playground, playroom, aquarium, basketball... and the flavor palm beach menu was such a great value. We come for it every year!
The family restaurant at The Breakers. As such it is more casual and noisier. But not offensive and the food was good!
The s’mores pie was delicious. The shaved cauliflower salad was very good. Our entrees were good.
We had a great experience for a double Anniversary dinner. One couple celebrating 20 years and the other celebrating 21 years! Dinner was great, our waiter, Alex, was on spot and had a great personality!! They even surprised us with an anniversary dessert that was wonderful! It is very likely we will have dinner at the Breakers Italian Restaurant again when in the area.
Food was incredible an d the service was great. The prices are very high but it was worth it.
We had a great time at the Italian Restaurant. Our waiter Dillon was outstanding and would go back because of the great food quality and service.
food and service great. the noisy unruly kids annoying. you must do something about that for those who deserve peaceful dining conditions. i ate in bar which made it better but the kids kept running and screaming down the hall.
Too loud and lousy service. Really hate the automatic 20% tip when it wasn’t even close to being earned.
My first time dining and it was super. Great food and great service. Kids had a great time too!
In summary, would not go back. Olive Garden experience with resort prices. My lasagna lacked flavor. Wife had eggplant which was average. Noise level was too loud for normal conversation and was going to get worse as large table with screaming kids was just seated. On a positive note, service was great.
Went to celebrate our anniversary and had the summer $39 per person dinner....it was fantastic and all full size portions . our bartender was fantastic and so friendly he made our dining a pleasure he said he was there 22 years that says a lot for the breakers happy employees make happy guests
Lets be honest, this restaurant is in The Breakers. Things do not get much better than The Breakers. We went here on our recent stay because a reviewer said it was like being in Italy. I have been to Italy 3 times. this was nothing like being in Italy. Start with the very good - the bread. Outstanding. No extra charge for it and it comes with several tasty toppings and butters. My wife ordered a pizza appetizer which she said was good, but, I'm the Italian from New Jersey and I did not think it was good. My wife's shrimp dish left a lot to be desired. The shrimp themselves were excellent but the pasta with white beans and spinach and some kind of sauce didn't taste Italian and in fact didn't taste good to either of us. She ordered from the prix fixe menu and it was a lot of food for the money ($39). My tortellini was very good, the sauce was a spicy meat sauce - a bit too much spice for me but my wife liked it. Now for dessert. Yes, order the S'mores (can't remember the full name - it is s'mores something or other). OUTRAGEOUS! Worth every tasty calorie. Now for the ambiance - our fault here, as the restaurant is in the "family" category at the hotel. It was noisy with several loud children. Not the restaurant's fault, but it ruined our first night experience. This place might be better later on in the evening perhaps when the children are not as likely to be there. It is not that we are old curmudgeons, but we were on a special vacation celebrating a special marriage anniversary and we didn't plan on sharing our great (and very expensive) moment with a bunch of crying children.
Dillon, our server, was fantastic! Food was top-notch! Will definitely be back.
Great spot to let kids play in playroom of young and gameroom if a bit older. It’s pricey in fact over priced but I think typical for being at the breakers. Service is average and friendly, food is average so it seems extra pricey because of the lack of wow. The best menu items we’ve had are the shaved cauliflower salad followed by the veal Milanese. Great overall for kids and families.
Arrival excellent with valet noting parking fee unless Receipt stamped. Foyer carpet and architecture stellar . Seating on time. Nice decor. Some noise to pleasant level from families. Calamari appetizer seemed fresh and tender although a little bland and heavy on breading. (Use Legal Seafood as comparison). Penni vodka pasta had nice cheese sauce and no vodka flavoring . Veal heavily breaded and dry.
Gin and tonic drinks were problematic for bar. Plenty of gin first with soda, then gin on rocks , and finally gin and Tonic which was actually very good.
Server we was attentive and had veal removed from bill withoUt my request.
Steakhouse and seafood restaurant are outstanding. Presumably this place will follow suit.
Fantastic for families with little kids.
Olive garden level food at The Breakers is quite disappointing; especially given the price.
Phenomenal restaurant. This is my fathers favorite restaurant, so we came here for his birthday with friends. Food was amazing, ambiance was amazing, and our server, Dillon, was great. He was funny and super helpful and patient for our party of 10. Overall a great time and will be back!
We like this restaurant as last time we stayed at Breakers we had a very good experience and there is certainly consistency in delivery. The food was great, the best pasta we had in a while and the atmosphere was lovely. The main course took tad longer to arrive, however the quality and taste of food certainly made up for it. We shall be back again when in Palm Beach.
Very noisy environment. Not exactly what I expected. We made it through but it is definitely a family restaurant and not one for couples
Vacation. Server was awesome food was wonderful. We had a wonderful evening! Thank you
The restaurant is located on the grounds of The Breakers Hotel. We found both the service and the food to be outstanding. The restaurant has a very relaxed ambiance and the night that we were there, some diners were dressed formally (jackets & dresses) and others were dressed very casual (golf shirts, tee shirts, jeans & shorts). Though the restaurant is casual, the preparation, presentation and quality of the food is what you would expect from a hotel on the grounds of The Breakers Hotel. They also have a very nice wine selection.
it was our 45th anniversary and it was excellent. the food, the service ,the atmosphere and the people thank you so much for the experiance
