Had high expectations given the rating. We did not stay at the breakers and only went for dinner. The restaurant shares a space with a kids play area which is convenient for parents but in absence of kids takes away from the dining experience. The service was fantastic but food and drinks given the pricing was underwhelming. As resort dining might be good for kids but as a standalone Italian wouldn’t recommend

Dining at The Italian Restaurant at The Breakers was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale elegance and warm, family-friendly charm. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable - attentive, welcoming, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The pasta was delicious, served with rich, flavorful sauces that tasted authentically Italian. The wood-fired pizzas were crisp and airy with just the right amount of char. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers on every level ambiance, service, and cuisine - but this place does just that. Highly recommend whether you’re staying at The Breakers or just looking for an exceptional Italian meal in Palm Beach. We love all of the Breakers restaurants!!!

Very kid-friendly, which I didn’t realize going in — not ideal for what I wanted. The décor felt outdated, portions were huge, but the food was overpriced for the quality. Great if you’re dining with kids, but not the best pick for adults looking for a quieter or more modern spot.

We had a great meal at IR. Snapper scampi was amazing. Good kids options beyond just pizza and chicken fingers. And good proximity to the kids arcade was great too. It is pricey but it was enjoyable

The service was great! The staff especially our waiter was very attentive and helpful! Loved all of his recommendations, felt like he knew us. ;) the Kids enjoyed their meal and so did the Adults. Looking forward to coming back.

Never even consider dining here! Next to the kids club, the restaurant’s noise level with screaming kids all around the place and the total chaotic atmosphere was not tolerable. Included in the menu were three types of pizza which we ordered with the hope to enjoy decent pizza from a what’s called an Italian restaurant and we ended up with basic, lame, stone hard flatbreads! Not to mention the price of each “pizza” being $35, $40 and $45! Toilets were terribly dirty, think about this in the larger context of being in a hotel like the Breakers! I think this restaurant is a big disrespect to the Flagler name and the Breakers Hotel! The hotel needs to seriously consider switching this restaurant to a kids club only space and refrain from people booking for a pleasant dining experience with false hopes!

The restaurant is on property so that is nice and an easy walk. I guess I was expecting something more inside. The bar area is completely separate from the restaurant stuck between the bathrooms and the kids game room. The restaurant is across from the kids activity center so it was very loud inside with kids running back and forth. Maybe if we had been seated farther in the back it would have been less irritating. But there were so many kids and it was just loud and distracting. The service was good, but they never refilled our drinks. Food was very fresh and good, so that help salvaged the evening. I would not eat here again for dinner, maybe for lunch, just too many kids all over the place. Weird location for a dining experience.
