The new location is superb. The service staff was prompt and friendly. The food was fantastic as usual. Unfortunately the hostess was not helpful at the end of the night. After retrieving my coat she just handed it to me instead of offering to help put it on. It was sort of rude as she was not busy with other customers. Other than that little blimp, it was a wonderful night.

Fabulous! This restaurant does not disappoint. Great food, great service and I like the atmosphere much better than their old location. Not so crowded in here.

My 2 girlfriends and I enjoyed the great antipasti dish and several salads over a bottle of Chianti. It was delicious and great atmosphere.

Starting with the bread, nice show but really was sliced stale bread with oil/balsamic dip, my hopes were not high for the mains.
I was wrong, the lamb was beautiful, in appearance and taste!
The fish dish was reportedly "nice".
Full house with energy.

Every topic (food, service, ambience) was great but with one not so great aspect which would affect the overall experience. So that wouldn’t work for a foodie — unless they had the Truffle Spaghetti— which was stellar! Our server was excellent but the auxiliary staff not so much. We were a group of interior designers — so hard to not notice some dated finishes/design.

Very good service. We shared a caprese salad. tomatoes with basil and burrata. Ingredients fresh. Lacked basil and portion was small. I had the seafood linguine which was excellent lobster, prawns, and scallops cooked perfectly. My wife had the truffle spaghetti and meatballs very tasty. Extensive wine list but pricey.

Atmosphère assez bruyante. Assiette et service excellents. Plats aux prix raisonnables mais la carte des vins montent vite en prix.
Important : ce restaurant n'est plus situé sur Alberni mais sur Burrard maintenant.

I am unimpressed with this place , at least for lunch . This was first time at new location and I hadn’t been to Alberni Street for a while . I found the menu too limited . AND they did not have the sautéed sprouts . The salad I ordered was disappointing . My son ordered carbonara and enjoyed it . No surprise but price was quite high but no longer justified . Service was OK . Noise level was fine . Location is very good .

Impressed with the new location and menu. The food was excellent and service very good. A big upgrade on the Albernie location, especially the food. This is the for top food and service of all the Glowbal restaurants. Hopefully the others can learn from who ever is running this place.

Was excited to see that Italian Kitchen was back! So many good meals there in the past. Lived up to our memory in every way except found the lighting too bright in the dining room center. Would ask for a window seat next time and in summer look forward to experience the patio. Overall can't wait to return

Classy downtown business restaurant with proper professional waiters, white tablecloths, excellent food and wine. A bit noisy if you're seated in the middle, but it's also the best place to feel part of the action. It's going to be one of my go-to places from now on.

The pasta was a bit to firm for our taste, all 4 of us. Wine list was OK needs more USA brands, I know it's Italian, but prices are horrible so the customer should have the choice. Overall good.

We went there from time to time. Food is alright and service usually is really attentive. I think it is kinda busy there tonight ( Sunday Oct 22,2017), the waiter keep rushing us to order the main course even we told him 3 times that one of our friend isn't arrived yet. And we do order a bottle of wine and 3 appetites already. Really disappointed

Enjoyed our dinner and a nice bottle of wine. Everything would have been terrific if the waiter had been a little assuming. He presented us with our bill all neatly divided into 3 separate checks with out asking. I can only imagined why he thought that was necessary even though it was clear we were celebrating someone. Very rude assumption I thought.

The wine was fantastic, our waiter was adorable and attentive, the salad delicious, but my ravioli was under cooked. It was delicious otherwise... i should have said something.

The food is fantastic, and you can't beat the value!! I find the tables a little too close together, and the volume gets to be very loud when looking for an intimate evening....hopefully this is improved at the new location. I will definitely be back!

We went recently to celebrate our anniversary, if you want an intimate date night I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. We had to yell across the table to have any sort of conversation it was very loud. Lots of hustle and bustle in a tight space. We ordered the Antipasto Rustico to start and found the cheeses to be very bland. BUT our dinner was amazing and would go back for sure! Great for a fun night out with a group.

Service was very slow - granted it was Saturday evening but one would think this might be typical and the powers that be would plan accordingly.

We were seated upstairs where the noise level ensured that a 60 decibel 'normal' conversation wasn't going to happen. It was closer to that of a leaf blower. Considering that our group can be loud, and we're also very tolerant we found this verging on too much.

Would I go back? Absolutely, because I love the food. Just have to remember to ask to be seated downstairs where the leaf blowers are dialed back substantially.

Service wasn't bad But it wasn't good either! Every other table had bread but we were forgotten I guess unless one must ask specifically for bread in this restaurant. Food required salt! Everything I ate was tasteless and probably the most expensive of their menu. We made a reservation days ago but we were placed in the middle of a busy loud room. If I visited Vancouver again I sure I would spend my money elsewhere!!
