Great food, great bread, great service 😁
Was excited from the “ratings.” However....my veal Milanese was weird. I asked if it could be made as a veal parmigiana and was told “no,” even though the prep is essentially the same. Add mozzarella and Parmesan and lose the senseless greens. It would have been an improvement.
Our waiter, Tim, was nice enough. Good personality. Could have been more attentive.
Bison carpaccio and veal appetizers were very good.
I would go back, but not soon.
Miss Don Francesco.
I had reserved using OpenTable and noted that we were celebrating our girlfriend's birthday. We were welcomed with glasses of bubbly as we perused the cocktail list, arranged by "Sheila" who had taken the booking. So lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, even shutting the place down (but never felt rushed out the door)! The restaurant had a lively atmosphere and great vibe on a Friday night - we'd certainly go back again. Thanks for the great service :)
The waitress gave a first bad impression. She didn't introduce herself and appeared to have an attitude when asked any questions. She rarely came by and faked a smile just for the tip. Cocktails were not good and the waitress didn't ask if we liked them. Ambiance was very busy and not a relaxing atmosphere. Tables are very close together and people at another table kept coughing. In my reservation, I stated it was a birthday but they had no idea or cared. The food is the only thing that saved the experience but for the money I expect pleasant service to go with the good food.
Everything was great, with exception of being charged for an $8 bottle of Fiji water which I didn't ask for. I also asked for sparkling water which was also $8, however while over priced I wasn't upset about that. Food was perfect and service was excellent
As always, the food was amazing and the service excellent. Sheila made our evening special. Thank you, Brenda and Denny
They have lost their touch. Just not the same restaurant. Presentation is lacking , pasta was cold.
Valentines day .
Gave us pasta with nothing more than tomato sauce, my best fiend could have cooked this in his 1st year in uni. they forgot the veg in the veg pasta. Then sent us out winter veg on the side. lol
28 $ for a bowl of pasta that was literally the least flavorful dish I've ever had outside of my house. Bread was from packet -you guys are fooling nobody If your going to charge at least deliver on the taste. I seen 4 dishes returned to the kitchen in 45 minutes.
Server was lovely. Not her fault. Its the mangers fault and the chefs.
Great food and great staff!! Would definitely return to this locations.
Valentine’s Day. My scallops in the seafood salad was cooked very poorly. The mains were average, desert was good though. Overall it was a good experience, the food not so much. Probably because it was bust.
The pasta is made fresh every day and it’s incredible! Now the best part to me is going to an Italian restaurant and learning that the chefs are ACTUALLY ITALIAN- How refreshing is that!
The ambience is beautiful, cozy and romantic.
The price is very reasonable considering it’s a little hot spot right in the heart of Vancouver city.
Overall since they moved from their Alberni st. Location it’s improved 100%. If you haven’t been yet , I would recommend going. It’s not just good food, but it will leave you full and satisfied! Enjoy
New location is nice, the service other than our waiter was good.
Outstanding pastas and seafood. The Calamari is large enough for two and perfectly prepared and the seafood salad is quite reasonable for the contents of large prawns (2) and scallops (2). Also try the Amatriciana pasta made with ground chicken. Quite spicy but very delicious. Highly recommended.
Spaghetti and meatballs a must! Great wine list! Good location.
Very enjoyable experience
