Certainly in the running for one of the best restaurants in South Jersey. The advantage that 101 has is the way it's menu changes. The half-dozen or so other restaurants in that group generally have very small offerings with maybe one special. 101 offers regional dishes and a pre-fix that varies weekly and is a good value. On occasion this may be a disadvantage if you're on a restricted diet but the regular menu is always available. The dishes appear to be very authentic with an incredible variation in dishes by province. The restaurant is fairly small, you can actually hear your partner talk, and the service is attentive; the server knowledgeable. Getting the dishes was slow by American standards but I prefer this and the reason was the chef was making the dishes after we ordered.

This place is a little gem in the heart of Historic Medford! Loved the chef’s swordfish small tasting dinner course we had last night, it was outstanding! Very creative yet rustic and fresh and light. So many textures and tastes! Service was very good, I cannot wait to return.

2 of 3 ppl in our party opted for the pasta tasting menu. For $45 pp it was not very good. The first course was wonderful but all others were sub par.

A little too noisy. A/C unnecessarily intense for a cool evening. Pasta and breads outstanding...focaccia to swoon over. Veal loin...undercooked, overly chewy, and pretty tasteless--maybe I just don't like veal. Accompaniments overly salty, but good. Plum pie tasty but would benefit from more sugar. Crust a little dense. Pasta and breads outstanding...focaccia to swoon over. Did I say that before? It's worth saying again. The capellini with Sicilian pesto a brilliant preparation as were the ravioli with honey.

I was fairly disappointed in the my experience. I’m not from this area and found this online with great ratings.
Main Street, where located, is truly adorable. We love Italian food, and were told the chef was trained by 3 different Michelin star chefs. However, it started to go downhill fast. It took forever to be greeted. Normally, I wouldn’t care much but there were only 7 people in the restaurant. We ordered two appetizers, then about 15 mins later were told that the appetizer had been sold out, ok strange but not terrible. Then, about 15 mins later were told our other appetizer had been burned. Ok, kind of getting mildly frustrated, but when it finally came out it was almost soggy? We ordered our main courses about an hour into it, it took about another 45 mins to come out. Maybe they were short staffed? But the food wasn’t great, which was really disappointing. I think the waiter became embarassed and kind of ignored us toward the end. So we ended up being at the restaurant for over two hours. They took some things off the bill which was kind of them, but all in all I just felt very sad because it was my boyfriends birthday and I know he did not have a good time.
We made reservations at ITA 101, after receiving an email about the Sunday Sagre menu. The food and service were excellent as usual. We have been dining at this restaurant since 2016, The food and presentation are unique, and always worth the trip. Many restaurants tend to have a consistent menu, that keeps people going back for the staples. We are constantly going back because of outstanding food preparation by a chef that provides an interesting tasting that we can only get at ITA101.

Pretty small menu to start and they were out of 4 of the items including water lol. It wouldn't be so bad if they would let you know upfront but the waitress came to apologize all 4 times after we ordered. This was not our first time here and is usually good but this time was rough to say the least. At one point they said they were out of something to then turn around and say they found it lol. Food was not really good either, wild boar was like a well done pork chop. Hopefully just an off night as the other times we were here were good.

Had a wonderful dinner recently. Service was very good - attentive but not overbearing. Food was excellent - first course: perfectly ripe cantaloupe with prosciutto; entree was delicious spaghetti cacio e pepe. Finished with table side tiramisu - ladyfingers (made by the chef's mother) drizzled with espresso, and topped with a luscious mascarpone crema and dusting of cocoa powder. Wish this restaurant was closer to my house!
We did a four course at this amazing place. Everything was cooked to perfection. I loved the pace. They are in no rush to get you out which some people might not like but it helped digest in between courses. I can't wait to go back. It's become one of my favorite places.
