Really great service. The food was tasty and fresh. My only complaint was that the table/seating area were hastily cleaned before our seating. There were still some crumbs on the table and seats.
Excellent food. The General Tso Chicken was our absolute favorite! Service superb and very accommodating and friendly staff. It was our favorite restaurant overall. Highly recommend. Shout out to our server, Mufasa (sp)? He was THE best!
Just a quick breakfast. Very filling and tasty!
Excellent service! Jairus is a wonderful server with a heart of gold. Beer choices are good and love the decor too! We loved the friendly attitudes of the employees! In the world of servicing others that is EVERYTHING. We should all be to lucky to have so many kind encounters!
Great atmosphere, overpriced but it is at a resort!
Awesome dinner. Chef went beyond expectations to accommodate our dirtiest needs. Food was delicious. Waiter was attentive and offered great service!
A much needed break from the noise and bustle of the rest of Universal! The food was fast and delicious, and our server Mustapha was charming and professional. Definitely recommend this for a lunch or dinner date!
We ordered a Bao Bun and never received it until after we finished dining.
Had a wonderful experience. All the appetizers were great! (We tried them all throughout our stay) The service was impeccable. Would dine there again and encourage others who are looking to have a relaxing and delicious meal.
Amazing food and great service by waiter, Brian!
I had been planning to go to city walk for dinner but was tired so just stayed I. The hotel for a burger with my son. We both had the cheeseburgers and agreed that they were the best burgers we have had in a long time!!
Brian was attentive and knowledgeable
Good selection for family of teens.
Better than average resort type restaurant — good balance of quality and value compared to other places in the area that were same price or more expensive.
The place looks really nice, and menu items had nice variety. However the service was really slow and it takes forever to get your food. Also the value for the food itself isn’t great. Like 9 dollars for three little potstickers?!? Really. If you looking for dining options at universal there’s much better options at city walk it’s self, or even at other hotels.
There was a front coming through so it was rainy and windy which affected the length of time it took to get our mail because so many people were ordering at that time. Other than that it was very very good.
Found on Open Table and decided to give it a try. This restaurant is on the Resort, as it states in the name. Was a limited menu but good Asia Pacific options. Great service, but oddly quiet and limited customer presence during spring break dinner hour. Feel of the space was more like a convention center with high tile ceilings and large frog decor. Food was surprisingly good. ***We weren’t staying on site, and were surprised to find we had a $48 parking fee when we were leaving after spending about $180 on a dinner for 5. Take your parking ticket and restaurant receipt with you to the front desk to receive complimentary parking pass.
Breakfast was phenomenal! The servers are wonderful and very personable. Enjoyed meeting them and leaning about their background. Thank you!
My son had a severe allergy attack as the restaurant was careless with his allergies. I do not recommend this restaurant if your dinner party has an allergy.
The food and service was fantastic. It was a little pricey but I expected that at a resort.
Fantastic breakfast/brunch with my family. Both the service and food were fantastic.
We had breakfast on our checkout day and it was a perfect way to end a great vacation. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was excellent and the food was delicious!
Not many food choices on the menu. Dark ambiance.
Service was warm and inviting. Food was delicious, and priced as expected (a little expensive) for a resort restaurant.
So I wanted some Asian food but the menu didnt offer much. Thankfully, the server was able to order some fried rice with shrimp and eggs. Accept, there was no shrimp or eggs in my 'fried rice'! He was the only one there serving multiple table at the time. I was too tired and hungry to wait around! The dish costed $24!! Just rice and some vegetables! For sure this is the most expensive fried rice I've ever had! It was so bad that I could finished only a couple of spoons...Loews can do so much better than this!
We ended up having to take our order as takeout due to family situation.
My pad Thai was excellent. My husband enjoyed his Mongolian Beef.
The General Chicken was also fairly good. Didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy the ambience. The restaurant was fairly empty.
Food was really sub par. Expected the cost given location but overall value was worst of entire universal experience by a long shot.
Fabulous breakfast! Pricey, but everything is in Orlando. Especially at resorts! Food comes out quickly as well. They know you want to go park hoppin’!!!
Excellent breakfast!!! We stayed at another resort and ate breakfast here every morning. I highly recommend.
Great way to start your day before heading to the theme parks!
Great breakfast. Get the french toast! Just silly expensive even for a hotel restaurant. But that goes for everything at the royal pacific
Wonderful breakfast. Nice and relaxing and delicious French toast
The food was subpar at best. Some of the items we ordered were just ok. Others I couldn’t eat and had to send back. My replacement wasn’t much better. I would pass on dining there
Followed Covid restrictions and felt comfortable dining at restaurant. Prices are a little high -maybe offering a discount for guests staying at hotel to dine there as an incentive for increasing sales. Same should apply for the gift shop as well. Thanks
Service was horribly slow and very inattentive
Took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our breakfast and it was cold when we finally received it!
We ate at Islands a couple of times during our stay, and each time the food was very good but the servers were excellent.
The food was fresh and delicious. Service was attentive and punctual as well. I have no reason to complain about anything
Wonderful food. Everything was fresh, good portion size and very flavorful. Service was great, staff was all very attentive. Will definitely return!
We paid $ 420 plus $ 48 for parking, 4 people, food was not good, no entertaiment, nothing special, very dissapointed
Horrible value. Charging $85 for a 10 year old is ridiculous. We pod that thinking it would be the experience and scenery that helped justify the price. Not. Boring. A family of 5 had to spend $450 on dinner. What a joke. Half of that would still be expensive but understandable given the holiday and location at universal.
When we were booking this reservation, we noticed that it said $30 and under for this restaurant!!! When we went, while it was New Year’s Eve- we knew it probably would be a bit more expensive, and NO ONE told us a different price! We loved our waiter Mustafa! He was wonderful! We enjoyed the stir fry. That’s where it ended. While I know Covid is going on......everything else was served in little containers that you would see at Wawa or 7-11. Each couple had 3 drinks on their tab, and our bill was $247!!!!! Our table of 4-$500. What on earth!?!?!?!?? AND it wasn’t even normal times!!!! We are staying at the hotel and are still baffled by this whole thing! We went to the front desk and they told us they couldn’t do anything. People- find out before hand! This is outrageous and I spent half of my food “allowance” the first night we were there! Ridiculous and not worth it! Definitely worth the $30~
For a New Year’s Eve dinner and paying $85 per person, I expected more than food in to go boxes. This was the most informal and overpriced meal ever but some how they still felt they should charge $85 per person. Food was basic but they charged like it was best food. Very disappointing.
The food is some of my favorite on Universal property. I know that its hard to serve me because I'm a single diner, but both times they've kinda neglected me. Once, went to the bathroom after telling the server I was going, came back to my dinner completely gone and had to complain. Did the prix fix meal, had to ask for a couple of the courses later on as they were neglected, which resulted in very cold bread. I always have to flag someone down for water or coffee refills. I know more people means a larger tip and more work, but I'd give a bigger tip for more common courtesy. The outside seating during the day in the fall/winter is sublime and inside later in the evening is very pleasant. The hosts at the front are always pleasant. For what you get, the prices are decent.
