Met a friend on Friday evening for drinks and tapas. We both had the mussels; I had the special and she had the regular offering. They were both delicious and the portion was a very nice size. We also split the fried artichokes-yum. My wine was delicious and she loved her martinis. The service was very nice-friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness, not too much or too little. The tables are a bit close together if you're trying to have a private conversation, but other than that, we would definitely go back! PS We found parking on the street for a 7pm reservation.

Isabella is definitely a hidden gem in Conshohocken. I visit a lot and will continue to. I always like to bring my friends and family here.

We went as two couples on a Saturday. Had a reservation but probably did not need it for 6:30 pm. Happy hour lasts from 5 to 7 pm. The bar was very lively and the noise level was high. After happy hour ended, the bar cleared and it became significantly quieter. The food was delicious. We had the salmon and steaks. We all had salads and there was no complaints with any of the food. Very tasty. We want to return to have tapas next time as there were many items on the menu we want to try. I would definitely recommend.

More than it looks like from the outside. Nice setting. Mediterranean/European/city seating but pillows and windows make it comfortable.
A nice change from the usual with dishes that suite various tastes. I am a little picky and don't like to many new foods and I found several good choices.
Large wine list and nice beers on tap.

This was our second visit to Isabella. The first was quite pleasant and enjoyable. The food was good and service was efficient. Our second visit, to which we brought 4 friends with us upon our recommendation, was very disappointing. Valentine weekend and the restaurant had run out of flatbread (we had ordered that), the price fix offering yielded steak that was difficult to chew. The tapas plates were ridiculously small and very over priced. They were not of the portion size from the previous visit. It is unlikely that we would return.

We had a table for 3 right next to the door near the bar. It was freezing each time the door opened, so they need some kind of barrier against the cold. There was an "art party" that caused confusion w staff. Three times we heard plates / glass breaking. Not exactly relaxing dining experience. After ordering we were told kitchen wasn't offering any flat breads ( huh? This is a big part of the menu). The server and food was fine except for the farro which was far too spicy. The biggest turn off was the fact the tip was already included in our bill ( for a party of 3). Not cool.

My husband and I dined with another couple. We decided to order a bunch of different appetizers to start and see if we wanted to order entrees later. The apps were so good we just ordered more. All of the following were delicious: pulled pork /chicken empanadas, ahi tuna ceviche, gorgonzola stuffed dates rolled in bacon, mushroom flatbread. The only thing that was mediocre was the fried calamari. We would definitely go back.

Isabella's food, service and atmosphere were great. There was a new chef and his menu are the standard tapas to Greek plates with creative cocktails.

Our waiter was attentive, knowledgable about the menu and delicious tiger striped espresso cake desert.

Lighting is annoyingly too dim and should not require a cell phone or flash light just to read the menu, and that is not romantic. Parking is street parking and could be a challenge at times. Overall, interesting mix of various regions of Mediterranean cuisine and Tapas, but a bit confusing of the origin of the food as many of the fusions tend to be by their nature.

I met up with some friends here for a girls catch up over some good food and cocktails followed by some wine. I can't say enough about the atmosphere ... absolutely lovely from the lighting to décor to seating. The service was wonderful; they made our requested accommodations to their cocktails … less sweet more tart … no matter how it was served the key lime martini was spectacular! We shared multiple tapas dishes. All of them were quite tasty ... especially the taco special they had that night. I would say that food value was for the most part on par. The stuffed pepper appetizer, while tasty, was a very small portion for the $9 price and barely enough for two of us to try. We also had the Chorizo, Pinchos, and the Mediterranean and Margarita flatbreads. The flavors on the Mediterranean did not seem to blend well … figs and gorgonzola … maybe if the figs were diced more instead of big chunks it might have melded better together. Everything else was quite tasty. We did not try desserts, instead opted for another glass of wine. This was my 2nd time here and I would definitely go back again.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Isabella's. We ordered a few tapas-chicken skewers, beef skewers, empanadas, and octopus. All were great. Our server was very helpful in steering us towards tapas and entrees that worked well for our group. The gnocchi was light and delicious and we also enjoyed the Mediterranean and mushroom flatbreads. Reasonably priced wine list as well.

The menu and portions have changed dramatically. The portions were tiny and this included the dinner plates, we left hungry and agitated also the bar poured the wrong drinks but this was taken care of immediately. I asked for bread to dip into the sauce of my mussels and it was cold and uncooked in the center. I would not recommend thus restaurant anymore.

I've always enjoyed Isabella's but the menu has changed and instead of small plates ( none of which grabbed me) we ordered regular entrees. Simply not as interesting or as much fun.

This was our first time to Isabella. I took my husband out for his birthday, and it turned out that they had Quizzo night on Mondays. We had a great time, and even played Quizzo (which we usually don't). The small plates were good, as well as the Kobe burger. Service was a bit slow, especially for small plates. Great Ambiance and energetic vibe for a Monday night.

Noise level was insane! I could not even hear my date across the table, we were shouting at each other. I was brought my drink then about 10-15 minutes later my date was brought hers with an apology that the ticket was never ran? This is not a huge place! Food was good but service used to be way better. I would try one more time but on "off" hours as after a long day at work, the noise was not welcome!

The menu is very limited and there are several fried items. They changed the mussels...not a good change. We miss the potato and arugula topping! Why the change? Food was bland but our waiter was very aware of what we liked and didn't like and removed the mussels and fried eggplant from the tab. They were inedible. They do have a great cocktail list and the DJ was playing great music. It reminded us older people of our prime time. Despite the underwhelming menu, our waiter, Mike, was excellent.

Very pretty inside although a little tight between tables. The bar is small but well stocked with delicious drinks. One of the best old fashioned's I've had in a long time. The food was good , I had the langoustine's , it came with 1 over rice &shrimp could have been hotter (temperature wise that is). Gnocci's was the other dish which again not warm enough but tasty. the empanada we had for App was very good. Iwould go back for dinner probably not for a special occasion. Service was good.

Loved this restaurant and its menu in the past. Went for the first time in a year and menu is changed and has many fewer choices. Food only ok; in the past, it was excellent. Perhaps there is a new chef and/or owner. Very disappointed this time.

We came in for the tapas and pizza we have had in the past and were disappointed that our favorite items were no longer on the menu. It was my friends birthday and she really wanted the steak skewers. We were informed that there is a new chef and menu and we were convinced to stay. Recommended to us was the octopus - which was perfectly cooked and it was a nice sized whole tentacle, skirt steak with potatoes instead of the vegetable, cheese and charcuterie mix plate, cheese stuffed meatballs, and scallops. Everything was delicious. Props to the new chef! Wine list is fantastic and we got a bottle of a California Pinot which was recommended. The only things that were just ok was the ceviche and dessert options. I would have liked to see some type of fruity dessert. Service was great. Request Michael - his energy is wonderful! My husband can be hard to please and he enjoyed everything. Will be back soon!

The food was fine but many items we would typically make at home so the choices were disappointing. The food tasted good but was hoping for something a bit different. The items that were interesting on the menu were out of stock since they were transitioning to the fall menu.

The tables were extremely close together. The service was fine. Not very personable...very rushed.

So the evening was just ok.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere new and heard about Isabella's. The reviews seemed good but after going I find them very misleading. In my opinion, it seems like Isabella's try's to be a foodie restaurant with a Bar, however, it turns out to be a Bar with fancier food names. App special was good. Dates stuffed with Chorizo and goat sheet wrapped in bacon. Salad seemed like they dumped and entire bag of greens onto the plate and mixed in some other items. I ordered the Black Fettuccini, the noodles were so overcooked I couldn't even tell they were in my mouth. They just dissolved. I was able to pick it up on my fork and gently shake them and watch them fall apart like mush.

We've been to Isabella's several times recently. When the restaurant is not busy, service is good, noise level is okay, and ambience is fine to quite pleasant. When Isabella's busy, the restaurant is so loud it is hard to hear across the table and service can be vexingly slow. I like Isabella's pizza and would go back for that for a mid-week night out. Whenever we've deviated from pizza the meal has been disappointing. Desserts are not a strength.

My husband and I finally got around to Isabella - the menu is on the small side but the food was delicious. I had mushroom soup that was outstanding, and even though we were already stuffed we polished off the truffle fries very quickly! Our drinks were also good - we both had specialty martinis. The atmosphere is very calming - and the pace is slower so we never felt rushed or like the servers were on top of us (something I long for but never seem to find this side of the Atlantic) --- however, my lone complaint was that we waited almost 40 minutes for someone to come take our drink order.

My brother lunches in Conshohocken frequently, so when I asked him for a recommendation on where to take a client/friend, I knew he would have an opinion. It's a great little find, off the beaten track (Fayette St.) instead, it's down Elm Street, six or seven blocks off Fayette. Parking is street only but was no problem. Went on a Wednesday, there were a few tables and a couple of men at the bar but otherwise pretty quiet, probably due to summer. We both had the mushroom soup and it was outstanding. I had a beet salad with chicken and he had the chicken sandwich. We were both pleased. He had coffee and there was no offer of dessert so maybe they don't have at lunch? We weren't looking for dessert so no disappointment. I learned afterwards, that they have a new chef. So, I can say that the new chef is off to a good start.
