The waiter & the ambiance were excellent. The food was good, but very small portions for the price. I thought the two desserts (chocolate cake & butterscotch pudding) were way too sweet and not very interesting/elegant for the price.
The food was amazing. The flavors were outstanding. The winter squash pasta was fantastic.
It was the best meal either of us have had in a very long time! The service is always amazing and the food was incredible. The new additions to the menu are not to be missed! Thank you for memorable evening.
We had such a wonderful time for our Valentine's date dinner! We got there a little earlier and had a cocktail in the bar area. It took a littler longer then expected to get our table but they apologized and offered a free drink on the house, which was super nice!
They sat us in one of there booths you can close off for privacy (if desired) and it made for a very romantic setting. Dinner was wonderfull! Had to fried chicken and guinea hen. Both delicious, plus a cheese plate to start with. All in all a wonderful time. Thank you Irving Street kitchen!
Had a reservation and arrived early. Finally seated 30 minutes after our reservation time which is understandable for the occasion. Food was just ok. Not worth the money they ask for it. I expected being in the Pearl Dist the price but the food was just ok at best. I don’t mind paying for the food if it is great. Our table was in the middle of the restaurant so people walked by the whole time. The best part of the night was the time I enjoyed with my wife.
Great food, great service! I definitely want to go back for either lunch or breakfast.
Our server was professional and the timing of our course was perfection. Loved our meal. Romantic and quality. Highly recommend Irving St Kitchen.
Reliving our 2nd date after being together for 6.5 years. We love this place!
Great brunch, it gets busy but thankfully its one of the few places in Portland that you can book ahead. Good drinks, good service.
Three of us dined. The menu is a creative on American classics. It was very well prepared, generous in portion and simply excellent. Great choice of beers and wine even wine by the glass. Our server was excellent.
The service was exceptional! We were hoping for lunch (our fault for not checking the menu in advance ). We were pleasantly surprised by the Brunch menu. The chef really has this down. One little warning, if you like bitter greens than the salad is for you, if you don’t ( like I don’t), don’t order, next time I’ll ask. The waiter was amazing in describing the greens, my fault for not realizing they would be bitter. Next time I’ll ask.
Great service from Jeff. Creative food choices.
I have been here for brunch twice. Both times the food was served cold, despite the fact that it came out rather fast. Also, the hostess on both visits was rather unfriendly and bothered. Lastly, I find it despicable to charge $4.50 for a coffee. I understand the rent in the Pearl is expensive, but the amount of food you get for the prices are not worth the ambiance of the place.
Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday and was not disappointed! We got to sit in an intimate booth with walls around it on 3 sides, allowing us to be able to hear each other better but still able to look out at the rest of the vibrant restaurant which was mostly full of larger tables at that time. Our server gave amazing recommendations and everything we ate was delicious, highly recommend Espresso Fritters for dessert! Will be back again.
REally enjoyed our experience here. Nice all around and the food was great. WE'll be back!
Server was very helpful with both food and drink selection and let me taste some hard cider before deciding.
Great evening and wonderful service
Always love coming here for brunch. Bloody Mary's are fantastic and the food is delicious. Ambience is always on point and is a great spot to bring people that are visiting Portland for the first time.
Great food in a casual and fun atmosphere
Small portions at a very high price.
It was excellent unique food
