Always good food and great service!
I ordered my food a specific way and my request was not honored. Also, our waitress barely checked in. Otherwise, I could have had my order corrected.
We were under a bit of a time crunch so I didn't have time to play games.
For not getting the food right, it was definitely not worth the money. I won't be going back anytime soon.
Also, my daughter ordered one of their famous pop tarts and it was disgusting. Something seemed off about it. Again, no waitress, so we weren't able to correct it.
Nice laid back atmosphere with delicious food. Waitress was perfectly tuned to what we needed and helped us narrow our lunch choices down when we couldn't decide.
Great service from the hostess to the waitress and overall ambiance and presentation and taste in food.
Awesome menu, cool atmosphere, super nice waitress! The food was delicious and I was actually surprised at how little I spent for how much food we got. Definitely going back.
Service was outstanding! Food was good and came out on time! My daughter and son love the food and asked that we go after Easter Service. We will be back!
I looooooooove, Iron Rooster!!!
It was my first time. The food was all great and came out quickly. A reservation wasn’t even necessary ( not busy at 9 am on a Saturday) but it never hurts! Our server could have checked on us more often but it wasn’t a big deal. I do wish they had a wider beverage variety such as coffee or flavored iced teas . I’m an espresso girl so I just got sweet tea. Being from Tennessee, I can say it is as sweet as promised. Will definitely be back for lunch and dinner in the future.
Corn beef hash was undercooked. Food was just average.
So nice to find places that serve breakfast all day and have a great varied and creative menu. Skyler was very friendly and attentive and corrected our orders when the steak and eggs came well done instead of rare and the order of sunny side eggs was missing the cheese. The rest of the wait staff replenished the coffee and water regularly.
Great location, free parking, pleasant and attentive Staff, Food is visually appealing And DELICIOUS. Wonderful Happy Hour!
This was an outing for my birthday and it was a great time. The experience was made exceptional by our waiter Terrell. Terrell was amazing at making everything on the menu sound delicious. Terrell took his time, made eye contact, and made us feel like we were the most important table in the place. My drink from the bar was great, they had tasty beer selection as well. We all enjoyed our meals, the food was fresh, and portions were perfect. I would recommend for any occasion and will return for the breakfast options and see if I can be seated with Terrell!
Food was bland....it had salt but nothing else. Cocktails were good, but for all the hype, I would have expected better. Manor Hill and Victoria's are better if you want farm fresh with flavor!
The chicken could have been seasoned more (both sandwich and on waffle). I would have liked to try the dinner menu. The Roostart Sundae was delish! I will return for that.
Overall pretty good.
My plate came out 5 minutes later than everyone else at the table. However, our waiter was very quick to go back and make sure it was ready and was great at taking care of our table. So that was an easy fix. However, it appears the portions have become noticeably smaller from my last visit, which was disappointing.
We all enjoyed our meals and very good service. Good time.
My husband and I took a friend from out of town to get brunch here this week. My husband’s meal and mine were impeccable, but our friend ordered runny eggs with a few other items. The first time, they were cooked completely through, so when they came out again, we were hopeful. However, they were entirely raw!! The waitress was horrified and was apologetic, but we didn’t really mind. The servings here are so generous that we had plenty! Only reason it’s not a better rating was the trouble with eggs, but we will definitely be back.
Our waiter (I think it was Jordan) was excellent! I had to give an overall '1' because of the poor and disrespectful attitude of the manager.
Me and my boyfriend went for a little day date, the wait was about at hour for lunch on a saturday but we had reservations and were sat right on time! Our server was so sweet, although i can't remember her name, food was quick and soooooo delicious! Left with happy bellies, definitely coming back soon!
My friends and I came here recently for brunch. They each got an Eggs' Benedict and I got latkes. Both were super filling, satisfying, and flavorful. They use much more herbs in their food than the ordinary greasy spoon diner. There is also a giant homemade Pop-Tart that they offer every day and is one of their most popular choices. I enjoyed the strong bottomless coffee they offer as well.
My only complaint is all the kids present for Sunday brunch, but that is to be expected when you don't choose a bar scene for brunch. The kids were little noisy from time to time which was distracting, but for the most part were well-behaved.
I will definitely be back to try the Pop Tart and another one of the Benedicts.
Came for quick lunch close to 1 and actually people waiting as restaurant was still busy. Place was nice and quick service. I enjoyed the crab stuffed avocado salad . Service was good too!
A reservation is a must on a Saturday or Sunday for brunch. We made a reservation and the staff go us to our table early. Always great food and great service!
Joe is the best waiter!!!
Excellent food, fast service
This was my first visit and was impressed the moment I walked in the door. The hostess was friendly and acknowledge our reservation and was seated quickly. We started off with dessert first because they have a very tasty apple pop tart that served all three of us.
Anyway, the menu has a wide variety of choices for all to choose from. I got the steak & eggs, my daughter ordered an omelette with veggies and avocado, and my wife order shrimp and grits. All the of the orders were huge and we could barely finish.
Iron Rooster is a great place for breakfast food served all day long. They also have a full service bar with televisions. If you are in the mood for great food with big portions, this is the place to go!
I do not have anything to say. You should accept the none and let it be. Thank you
My husband and I went to Iron Rooster in Canton for breakfast on a day we played hooky from work. We had tried to go to the location in Hunt Valley several months ago (on a Sunday) but were deterred by the long wait. The weekday visit to the location in Canton was AMAZING! The food was excellent. If you like corned beef hash or traditional Eggs Benedict, those dishes are definite winners. The Roos-Tart (their housemade version of a Pop Tart) was outstanding!
We will definitely visit Iron Rooster again!
Diner-like atmosphere, good food, casual and relaxed atmosphere.
Awesome food, drinks, and atmosphere. Using Find a Table was easy and worth doing. When we checked in it only took a couple of minutes for our table to be ready and for us to be seated. Would definitely come back!
Great restaurant. Food is normally good, but was a little disappointed this time as it was already cold when it was brought out to us.
Came in around 11 on a Wednesday morning and wasn't sure if we were going to need a reservation but it paid off. We were seated in a beautiful booth almost immediately when the walk in wait time for two was about 35 minutes. We ordered the brown sugar "roosetart"first because we had heard of the hype. The flavor was really great but the texture was slightly weird, instead of a typical pop tart the pastry reminded us heavily of chicken pot pie crust which threw it off a little. My friend ordered the famous chicken and waffles which was pretty good, especially the gravy but the waffles weren't as fluffy because I believe they were corn meal based which made them very sweet but also dense. The chicken had no bones and had a delicious breading. I got another signature, the BLT&E. The sandwhich was huge and very good. The fried green tomatoes and the bacon are crispy, the lettuce is fresh and the egg was perfect. The only thing that was weird was the garlic aioli which came in at the end and made the aftertaste kind of weird. The home fries that came with both were really delicious and the fresh squeezed orange juice was perfectly tart. Overall a pretty good experience but next time will probably try some other menu items.
Everything was great, server very good, food excellent. Only complaint was i had a reservation and still had to wait about 15mins to be seated
So the pop tarts are a must have. I know they have seasonal flavors but the brown sugar is where it’s at! Ooey and gooey they’re oh so perfect! The chicken and waffles are also great. The chicken is crispy and the gravy is perfectly seasoned. My only issue was I felt the waffles were to soft. The dirt of blended into the background.
A co-worker told me about the Iron Roster in Annapolis. We tried to go there with the family but the wait for breakfast was longer then we had. The 9th was my birthday so I made a dinner reservation in Canton. Parking is a little easier.
The Iron Roster did not disappoint. My only suggestion is quieter music so conversation can happen. We will be back.
Service: okay. Forget the servers name but he had a shaved head and a tattoo on his neck. He was nice but inattentive (water and coffee went empty without him noticing and he didn’t ask how the food was)
Food: pumpkin pop tart was amazing but was very disappointed by the flatbread. I couldn’t figure out if the components were supposed to be hot or cold. The flatbread was hot on the outside but cold on the inside. Only at 4 bites. But the ingredients seems fresh and flavorful themselves.
would not recommend....food was not what was expected ask for crispy scrapple expecting a thick slice instead it was thin and dryed out... homefries were bland, not even the option to get with fried onions....
As always a great breakfast! First time that I've been there on a weekend. I would highly recommend reservations.
Definitely make reservations! Pop tart was yummy (we got the Oreo). Fried chicken egg Benedict was delicious!
