Everything was great, the food, the staff and the restaurant accommodations. This was my first visit on Easter Sunday and it won’t be my last, if I have anything to do with it!
Sunday family brunch. Food was excellent, service was less than. We felt our sever was confrontational when we had an issue. Of course it was very busy & she kind of apologized at the end. We were put off by it. My first time going to the Iron Rooster (canton). Will give it another try.
I’ve been to Iron Rooster before, in Annapolis as well as in Baltimore. Our second visit to the Baltimore location was underwhelming and at times gross. We arrived at 6:15 pm on a Saturday. Although the restaurant was far from full, the staff was either overwhelmed or uninterested. It took a while to seat us. We got water and then no waiter for at least 10 minutes. We ordered our entrees. No suggestions made by the waiter about ordering biscuits or something to share. The entrees that arrived were edible but noticing to order again. The worst part of the experience was the ladies room, which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. The trash was overflowing. No toilet paper. The Dyson air dryer was scummy with dripped, dirty water. The floor and exposed pipes were slimy. I can possibly understand that sort of condition at the end of a Saturday night but not at the beginning. To get to the bathrooms you walk past the kitchen, which also didn’t look so great. It’s too bad. The restaurant space is nice. The menu is good. It feels like the eatery has grown too fast and is now little better than a chain restaurant. No one working there seemed invested in the enterprise in any way.
My friend has two serious allergies. She informed them and they still put both on her plate.
We just went with our 2 children. The food was awesome per the usual. They do very well with getting you in close to your reservation time.
The food was delicious!!!! The only thing I didn’t like was all our food csme at the same time so we didn’t have a chance to enjoy our homemade pop tart
good food, friendly staff, nice location. great for breakfast
It was freezing in there! Made the whole brunch experience rushed
Food and drinks are awesome. This was my second time visiting and both times the service could have been better. Staff is friendly but slow when it came to refilling drinks and bringing the check. Definitely will return in hopes that the service will improve.
This location was very nice... My wife and I enjoyed our meals.
Always one of our favorite places for brunch! The food and service are always consistently good. We'll come back soon.
The service was great and it was appreciated that the manager addressed allergies with someone in my party that had some issues. As always, the food was amazing!
very good in all respects
always looking for a safe place with good parking
this is it!
Great variety of choices; takes good to a unique level! Not the same old same old! Waiter wasn’t good about filling coffee but it was 5pm so it may not have been on the forefront of his mind. Device was really good overall.
This was my first visit to Iron Rooster. I went with two girlfriends and we all really liked our choices. There were also many other items that we wanted to try so we will be back. Our waitress was prompt and had a genuine smile on her face every time we interacted.
Service was slow yesterday. Iron Rooster is ALWAYS busy on the weekend mornings for brunch, but our server passed by our table many times before coming to us. Were not greeted for 10 or so minutes, and didn't get our drinks for another 10 minutes after that. Another lady brought the food out and that was much quicker. Overall though, Iron Rooster is incredible and worth the wait.
Great for kids because is has a naturally louder vibe. Staff were great!
I was once again disappointed by this location :( The RooTarts (toaster strudels) were excellent - chock full of fruit, great fruit on top, perfect buttery crust), but everything else left a lot to be desired. The burger patties looked pre-made and the fries were like McDonald's - bland and thin, I was expecting hand-cut or something better than standard Sysco fare. The brussel sprouts were barely roasted and were still really hard. The service was friendly, but inattentive, leaving too much time between visits. I know this place is super popular, but I think they can do better.
Overall the experience was just ok. We were seated at our reservation time but then waited long for our waitress to even come to the table for drink orders. I had to stop her and ask for a refill multiple times. Food was very slow coming out and was nothing special. Nothing bad enough to send back, but also nothing I would go back for. There’s quite a few restaurants in that area that I would choose over this place.
As always a nice experience. Jennifer was friendly and patient, the food (scrambled eggs with home fries, turkey and brie sammich) were tasty and the brown sugar Roostart was absolutely delish!
Food was delicious. Service wasn't as great. Maybe just an off day, but my wife was never asked if she wanted more to drink. Check was brought before all food was even ordered. Twice. It was busy and people were waiting , but still no excuse.
Nice breakfast spot
I wish there were a few more appetizer selections for Happy Hpur or just to munch on with drinks in a business/friendly type gathering
Delicious menu and great service!
There tarts are amazing and there food is seasoned very well.
We always have a good experience! Food, waitstaff and location are just right for us!
Brooke was outstanding! Attentive, friendly and very bubbly! It was a pleasure having a server w great personality! We were celebrating 2 Birthdays and so this was important to us.
Food and atmosphere was great—- as always.
We love Iron Rooster!
Awesome breakfast! Hubby had the French toast with fried chicken breast and it was delish. Somehow my fork kept finding its way to his plate!!! 😊 I had the West Coast eggs Benedict! Excellent as well! Will def be going back!
You have to make a reservation because it’s packed! We did and were seated right away. The atmosphere is a lovely, rustic look and the food was great.
I went it to dine because I was in the area. Antonio greeted me a the door with a pleasant smile and seated me right away. He asked me did I have a preference in where I wanted to sit since it wasn’t very crowded at the time. Antonio let me know the flavors of the rooster tarts and I decided on the chocolate strawberry. It was happy hour when I went in so I was informed that all drinks and appetizers were half price. I ordered the crabby deviled eggs for my appetizer and went with the Ruben sandwich with fries for my entree. To my Supra’s when my bill came Antonio informed me that Terri had taken care of my rooster tart for me. The Iron Rooster is my go to place when I’m in Canton.
Had. Reservation and was seated within 5 mins
Of arriving. Service was slow... server seemed
Preoccupied. Pop tart was great. Rest of breakfast meal was ok. Greasy home fried potatoes. Very loud and noisy.
We had a great experience and I felt like our server was trying to make the best of a bad night. They seemed very under staffed. I got there early for the reservation and had to wait for a table even though it looked like several were open. They did have a few large parties. I think our server tried his best for running around so much. The home made pop tarts are amazing.
I was expecting a larger quantity of food for the price. The chicken and french toast was an extremely small portion and the candied bacon came out completely cold. I would try somewhere else- this place is all hype but weak on delivery.
It had been wanting to try out an Iron Rooster for a few months and finally got the chance. Our server was awesome and had a great sense of humor, and the food was delicious. Coffee was pretty bitter, but it wouldn't stop me from coming back. Ambiance and noise level were nice, the Canton location is decorated nicely inside (nothing to compare it to since it's the only one I've been to so far). I had made a reservation and the host staff were friendly - the place was packed when we left around 11:30 am so you should definitely make a reservation just in case. All in all, I'd totally recommend it!
Our table was placed too close to the door, and I couldn’t relax and enjoy my food due to the cold air.
We have eaten here before and had great service. Today was a different story. Waitress completely ignored us, didn't check on us once (didn't ask us for drink refills or got us napkins) . Will come again, but hopefully get different waiter.
Worse service ever...started out good but slowly hit rock bottom...food took forever to come out...I arrived at 9:30am leave until 11:20...been eating here since it opened. Hard to get refills, condiments, etc.
The food was great. I had shrimp and grits which were very tasty and the waffle/vanilla ice cream dessert was amazing. I will definitely return.
Our water Kevin was fantastic! Never left our glasses empty and made sure our experience was exceptional. The food was delicious, the waffle burger was out of this world! Very excited to return with more friends!
Food was really good, but a little pricey... although the quality makes up for that! Definitely recommend getting a Roostart for dessert! Service was meh. Our waiter was quiet and didn't pay much mind to us but I noticed he was also working the bar so maybe it was an off experience. Biggest complaint was the noise level/atmosphere. It's basically one giant room with as many tables as possible jammed in, and the high ceiling with little noise buffering made it very loud on a crowded Sunday. We were seated in the corner which normally I would hate but it actually made it better since we were not constantly bumped into due to crowded tables and the noise was slightly less oppressive.
Overall I enjoyed eating there. The food was good; however, my friend's coffee was brought to her cold, the waitress took quite a while to take our order- we had to flag her down- and the noise level is quite loud.
