Depending on who you get sat next to, the place is a real good hang. And the food was amazing to go with the show
Had chicken and shrimp and my chicken was still raw and I didn’t get enough shrimp.

We’ve been to many steak houses and this is one of our favorites. The last two times we’ve been here both chefs were great fun and very entertaining.
Have been several times. Chef was interactive and fun.
We arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated right away. The food is delicious and so fresh! It is prepared right in front of you by a creative chef. Isaac made a point of fixing our orders just the way we wanted them. Every course was superb right down to the dessert.
This was our first time trying Iron Chef. The food was delicious. The chef was very entertaining. And the atmosphere was fun. Overall we had a great time. Will definitely come back!
Fun atmosphere and our cook kept us laughing through the evening. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and dry, and steak that was ordered anywhere from medium-rare to medium was all cooked well, which is really a shame.
Greeter is never friendly. We have had the same cook the last couple times. His food is not good and his performance is not entertaining. Our last visit was our last. The cost is to high for the service and food you get.
Food was good... chef was entertaining/funny... however.. the wait staff and hostesses are HORRIBLE.... It is very obvious that their main goal is to get you in and get you out.
It simply was a disappointment from the soup, salad, dips to the shrimp preparation. My granddaughter actually tossed up within 20 minutes of eating.
It had been a while since dining at Iron Chef so I suggested it with some new friends and we all had a great time! Our chef was fun and interactive and adapted to our particular sense of humor while engaging with two separate groups!
We enjoyed the food and the entertainment as always!

Food was great. Reserving on Open Table didn't link me to their system and my party had to still wait in the waiting list. Might as well call in to ensure a reservation.
The food was good but not great. Our chef didn’t do much tricks and we got someone that made inappropriate jokes and seeming more concerned with cooking instead of actually putting on a show as well. The hostess/waitress was fabulous. She made the whole experience worth it.
The food was good but service was lacking. It took 45 minutes for the chef to come to our table after we were seated. The price seemed to be more expensive than any other steak house. The fried rice was undercooked. Will probably go elsewhere next time.
Entertaining Chef , the food was very tasty. My favorite is the calamari steaks, melt in your mouth filet mignonette. My Granson loved his vegan meal and the chef!!
Too cramped and load. It was also extremely Smokey from the cooking. It was like the exhaust fans were not even working. The waitress seemed like she wanted to serve you as quickly as possible and get you out the door so they could seat the next group of people. Dishes were being removed before the food was eaten. The person that prepared our meal in front of us was very friendly and funny but most of the time you couldn't hear what was being said due to the noise.
I felt rushed by the staff and was rushed even ordering our food. My daughter did not get what was ordered and no one really cared. I had a reservation at 5:30 and did not get seated until about 6pm. We had to wait for a cook for 30 min because the restaurant did not have enough chefs. This was not a great experience for the cost 3 people $102 and we had not drinks. Casey
The food was delicious and the chef was great!! Our server was very slow seemed to forget about our soup, salad, drinks and it took a really long time for our order. We also had to get up and go to the bar the get a refill on our drinks.
This was our second time there and it was great! Our boys (2&8) really love it and the staff are helpful when it comes to allergy modifications.
Reservation was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. they called the day of to reschedule the reservation to 7 p.m. showed up on time only to be seated 30min later at 7:30 and then sat at the table for another half an hour before any order was taken. Waitress only showed up when we asked for her to refill our drinks
Does absolutely no good to make a reservation even with a reservation you don't get seated right at the time of your reservation if they are busy you have to wait in line kind of sucked
It was very crowded the night the 3 of us went, but we had a reservation and we were seated fairly quickly. The employees were very efficient at getting tables cleaned and ready to go. The food was delicious. I wish I would have gotten the name of our Chef, because he was exactly what you want when you go to a hibachi style restaurant. He was quick with a knife and wit, he was funny, but not awkward, and best of all, he cooked delicious food and gave generous portions. It was an experience well worth the price.
Great experience. Get there early and enjoy a well made drink at the bar with the very pleasant bartender. Will definitely go again.

The wait staff makes you feel rushed. They give you a to go container once the cook is done.
I usually really enjoy Iron Chef, but tonight because we got an inexperience chef who wasn't entertaining, didn't put the right sauces on right meat or seafood or to salty. Would recommend to ask for a chef that's been there longer.
Chef was wonderful! Food was good. Wait staff was hard to find for beverage refills. We will still go back.
Food was very bland and they did not use quality meat. Shrimp was great though. Fried rice was only good if you put the orange sauce on it. Lots of food enough for two people that is why it got 3 stars from me and way overpriced. Will not be back for sure
New Tears Eve with family
Ther service was good and he chef had great sense of humor that added to the entertaining dinner preparation. The only thing I give lower score is the food were all over seasoned with soy sauce and tonkatsu sauce. The bacon wrapped scallops for appetizer had tonkatsu sauce on it that I would normally just sprinkle black pepper and lemon juice since bacon has saltiness. So as the shrimps, steak, chicken and lobster were all season with soy sauce very strong. I’m glad I ordered white steam rice instead of fried rice. Other than the food, it was awesome experience.
Disappointed this time in Iron Chef. It is a tradition that my spouse and I come here every Christmas day for dinner. This year, the chef wasn't very much into the show (even though there were 2 younger girls at our table who had never experienced Hibachi before) and did not interact much. Also, when another guest complained about the food he just said I don't know why that would be, and did not try to fix the situation. Also, took forever to get refills on water, beer, and the basic steamed rice that came with the meal. I could understand if they were swamped, but by the time we got there the restaurant was fairly empty. It is a tradition so we will keep coming, but with the number of new hibachi restaurants opening up in the area - if Iron Chef doesn't step up their game, i'm afraid they won't be around much longer. It was quick though.... we were in and out of the restaurant in under 45 mins.
We had steak and shrimp and the flavor was ok, the steak was asked for medium rare - we got closer to rare. Again, we were ok with that, but I know of others who would not have been.
We got seated quickly - but we had also made sure to make a reservation ahead of time. Moderate at best this time around.
We went on Christmas Day for my son’s 19th birthday and had a blast. The chef was funny and good at what he did! The food was delicious. Thankful they were open on Christmas!
We always enjoy our dinners here! The food is always fresh and tasty and the staff is awesome. Hope it stays open for a long time as there aren’t many really good restaurants in Puyallup.

They had bad service, very rude, and for over $200 worth of food, we should have had to go eat somewhere else after!
Unbelievable great night! Our chef was energetic, personable and made our celebration one we will never forget!! Food was amazing! Cooked to perfection!!
We used to love this place. I was never able to finish my food. Now, it's overpriced, portions are scares and they got rid of sprouts but didn't make up for the loss by replacing them with more veggies or rice. Lastly, and most importantly I had the chef lose control of his fire wand it landed in my chest on fire, burnt my hair and not one!, not one person offered help, compensation or a word. They just hovered to see if I was going to throw a fit, I did not. But very disappointed they chose to ignore an incident that potentially could have caused severe burns to a customer. They also overcharged us by almost 50.00! Luckily i caught it. We will not be back.
