Restaurant IRON Ratings and Reviews
As always, my experience at Iron was outstanding. I have a a favorite waiter, Nick, and he is always attentive, thorough, and pleasant. I made a note in my reservation that this was a special occasion and Iron went above and beyond my expectations to make the evening one to remember.
I'm the sous chef at Fishers upstairs in orange beach Alabama. I had an opportunity to work with Chef Alex and my wife and I enjoy his food. This was the second time we ate there and it was just as good as the first time. We can't wait to eat with yall again.
Iron is one of the nicest restaurants in town with a gourmet menu.
The HVAC was very cold the night we dined which made it particularly uncomfortable.
Food was delicious, you pay for the ambiance, presentation, and unique style of the chef.
Not affordable, but definitely worth a visit.
Let’s start by saying, the duck was cooked to perfection. The lamb fell off the bone like a leaf gracefully floating from a tree on the first day of fall. My taste buds have never been stimulated in such a way as they were in this dining experience. The atmosphere has a unique aesthetic that is both modern and classic at the same time. And let’s not forget about the margaritas that take you on a journey to Mexico and back, made with fresh juices of the highest quality, might I say, unmatched. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone with a mouth. Ten stars to iron restaurant. Unmatched.
The food was wonderful and the service made the evening very memorable for me, my wife and my young kids. Jessica was extremely accommodating and suggested several customizations for my gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian companions. The brussel sprouts were so amazing we had two appetizers of them. The menu is a great foodie selection and the price was well worth the money spent. Great down town location next to the old theater.
How lucky we are to have this gem of a restaurant in downtown Pensacola. The food, presentation, ambiance, and service are always outstanding. The brussel sprout appetizer and salmon entree enjoyed this last visit were exceptional. Our birthday celebration was made extra special by our waiter. Perfection!
Great winter menu. Love to see a change in menu for variety. Hats off to the Chef for a very inventive menu. Phenomenal taste, knowledgeable server, and great atmosphere. Food portions were smaller than usual, so we felt that price was a bit high for portions. $42 for duck entree and portion was very small. Only 2 bok choy stems.
We can’t wait to come back because food quality is still amazing. We love coming here.
Iron really had a bad night. I had the Boudin meatballs and it was very tough, and the meat tasted very Gainey. The pasta and sauce tasted like out of a frozen dinner and it was very pricey. I was soooo disappointed. My sister had the chicken which was very average seasoned in black eyed peas/Beana which were very unseasoned. Even the Cesar salad lacked adequate amount of dressing. Just not a good value for how pricey. My sisters friend got the 3 serving ice cream and not creamy enough, tasted like mint flavored ice. Bottom line is I’m not sure I’ll go back. First few times at Iron were amazing. This last time was a total flop :(
We visited the restaurant for New Years Eve and had a wonderful experience. The tasting menu was delicious with new and interesting presentations. Our server was attentive but not overly so, just the right amount. Loved all the cocktails served throughout the night. Overall a great night out.
I spent New Year's at Restaurant Iron to enjoy a gourmet meal in Pensacola FL. There are not many places in Pensacola that have an Executive Chef to prepare a gourmet meal with beverage pairings to compliment the courses. New Year's Eve is a delightful occasion and Restaurant Iron delivered a culinary delightful experience.
