Nick did a great job
Great food, bonus that they printed our names and Happy Anniversary on our menus. Nice calm atmosphere, extensive drink list.
Iron was an amazing dining experience. The bar and waitstaff do a great job. The food was amazing. I’d go back again and again.
My favorite restaurant in Pensacola! The service is always outstanding and the menu is very clever and every changing!
Great dinner. Shared Escargot app was terrific, Three main courses, all were terrific. Our youngster guest said to the staff that it was the best meal she had ever had. Pork, scallops and chicken dishes were all superb. Great night
We have had several great meals here in the past. Very good wait staff, but the kitchen was very slow to deliver the meal. I guess happy hour overwhelmed them. Quail and fish were very good. The steak was tough and undercooked even with a long wait. This was not a typical meal here, and we will come again. Still the most creative restaurant in Pensacola
I didn’t believe all the amazing reviews about this restaurant. I’m a skeptic, and a foodie, so I decided to be hyper critical while dining at the Iron. I have been back, and let me tell you, it deserves the perfect five star score it has earned. In fact, it deserves six stars. It is the best restaurant I have been to in the southeast. The food, the cocktails, the divine flavor combinations. Go and make reservations. I have absolutely zero in making this recommendation.
The food and the service was very good. I would suggest that you offer the Duck Debris Gravy Fries year-round. we will be back.
Iron was super good. We had redfish and scallops. Split banana bread pudding and coffee for dessert. Impeccable service. Great Mother's Day dinner. Highly recommend.
Excellent service excellent food most definitely best place to eat in Pensacola downtown
Food is excellent. We had chicken dish, local fish, mussels, and specialty salad. All delicious. Waitress was great. Only complaint is when we walked in slow to respond to us, and then asked us a second time if we had a reservation while we stood at the front of the restaraunt.
Our evening at Iron was truly excellent. From the service, to the amazing food, to the staff, perhaps the best dining experience I’ve had in Pensacola in over 10 years. There are reviews about the menu prices, however, the food was well worth it!
Third time at IRON. Always wonderful; this time no exception.
The food. drinks , atmosphere and service are always exceptional. Nick is a tremendous waiter and always makes the evening more enjoyable.
I took my Fiancé there and all I can say is wow! The server Nick was extremely professional and broke down every item we asked about down to the ingredients! It was extremely romantic when arrived they already had our reserved seats with our names waiting. The taste of everything leaves a different impression on your tastebuds every bite was a new experience. We will definitely be going again 5 Stars!
This place is kick A%#
Best meal I’ve had in a very long time
Wonderful meal and service! The server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the meal was spot on!
Great food; great cocktails: great service.
My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect! The menus were personalized for our anniversary--can you imagine!? Creativity, quality, variety, atmosphere, etc. all fantastic! We will absolutely be back to IRON
Outstanding fine dining, comparable to Manhattan or New Orleans, very well thought out menu, creative but knowledgeable cuisine. I had the snails appetizer with gnocchi and veal agnolotti, gf had Caesar and redfish. House made pasta was delicate and tasty. All were delicious though the salad could have used less dressing. Flourless cake with banana ice cream dessert was just right to end the meal. Jessica was a wonderful waitress who knew the menu and the restaurant. FWIW best fine dining in Pensacola.
Food was the some of the best I've ever tried and the Duck Debris fries were to die for! Great food for foodies like me.
Wow! They should change their name to "Salty Iron!" Restaurant Iron was hyped up as a "must visit" eating establishment & their menu certainly was equal to the hype. The food offerings were creative & unique, at least by Pensacola standards, & the cocktails certainly did not disappoint. The ambience was beyond compare for anything on Palafox St, so the owner certainly gets my props where deserved. Where Restaurant Iron failed miserably was in the meal preparation department as all the food was uncomfortably over-salted, & this is coming from someone who likes his food with a salt kick. The kitchen staff simply overdid it & should have tested their food throughout the night. Another thing that irked me was how slow the service was, especially considering this was on a Tuesday night with the restaurant only about half full. It took my wife & I over an hour & a half from start to finish - way too long! Pick up the pace kitchen crew! Our server recognized the length of time it took & reduced our total tab by 15%. That was classy - thanks so much!
My daughter and I went to Iron on the first night of a week long road trip to celebrate. It was absolutely perfect! The food was creative and delicious, ambiance great and service superb! Highly recommend!
Amazing... great food; better service. My wife and I enjoyed our food and have no complaints.
I would have rated this restaurant higher. We were seated at a table where we could see everything going on in the kitchen. The guy that was in charge of heating and wiping the plates to be plated, used his phone 6 times. Pulled it out of his pocket, texted or etc., placed it back in his pocket. Did not wash his hands at any time. After the second time being on his phone, a waitstaff member said something to him about it. He did not stop the behavior. After the fourth time, we mentioned it to our server. She mentioned it to the manager, so she said, came back to our table, and said they couldn't address the issue until after the evening was over. Then, we witnessed a second kitchen staff using his phone as well and not washing his hands.
It is unsanitary to use a phone in a kitchen. It's too bad, the food was very good, the experience was very good. We almost left without eating because of this. So, no, I will not eat here again or recommend to others.
Great service, fills up fast. Dinning room is loud. Make a reservation at the bar, to watch the kitchen and a little less noise
The dinner was for my Wife's Birthday. The simple but unique touch was the menus with her name on them. The waiter was prompt, efficient, courteous and pleasant. The evening was an enjoyable event.
Service was great. I had the yellow fin tuna and it was terrific. Very nice setting. Prices reasonable.
excellent food, and our waiter Nick was terrific. this is our favorite high-end place in Pensacola.
We had the most amazing and lovely dining experiment in all of Pensacola. Our server, Danielle P. was absolutely on point, and each cocktail, starter, entree and dessert were spectacular. Cannot wait to return. Thank you!
Always amazing food!!
One of the best meals we Foodies have ever experienced. Waitress was extremely knowledgeable and a great help.
The cuisine is very creative. The escargots dish was outstanding.
It is a very casual, friendly restaurant with an excellent Chef.
Restaurant IRON was awesome and I've never used that word in a review till now. The exterior is so unassuming that we walked right past it the first time. All courses were innovative and delicious. The dining room is a bit crowded, but nobody seemed to mind. For those seeking a unique dining experience in Pensacola, this is it.
Great food and service! They made our anniversary celebration special!
Amazing food and cocktails. Presentation and flavor of the food was top notch. Service was fantastic. Our server explained each dish and we never felt rushed. A very enjoyable dining experience. We will be back!
Iron is the best Pensacola has to offer and as good a restaurants in cities 10 times bigger. It’s a special treat to go, but it never disappoints. Great service from Nick— good natured, knowledgeable, friendly. Where else can you have fois Gras for all 3 courses?!
Menu is good and food is excellent, but could use more choices for entrees. Prices are along the lines of very fine dining, so make sure the occasion is befitting. Great service and atmosphere.
Jeff, who crafts drinks, is amazing and the best in town!
