Executive Chef, Alex McPhail has returned to his hometown after 6 years studying under some of the finest chefs in the industry in New Orleans. Restaurant IRON was awesome and I've never used that word in a review till now. The exterior is so unassuming that we walked right past it the first time. All courses were innovative and delicious. The dining room is a bit crowded, but nobody seemed to mind. For those seeking a unique dining experience in Pensacola, this is it.

Amazing food and cocktails. Presentation and flavor of the food was top notch. Service was fantastic. Our server explained each dish and we never felt rushed. A very enjoyable dining experience. We will be back!

Iron is the best Pensacola has to offer and as good a restaurants in cities 10 times bigger. It’s a special treat to go, but it never disappoints. Great service from Nick— good natured, knowledgeable, friendly. Where else can you have fois Gras for all 3 courses?!

Menu is good and food is excellent, but could use more choices for entrees. Prices are along the lines of very fine dining, so make sure the occasion is befitting. Great service and atmosphere.

Steak was over cooked. Ordered Medium and it was med well to well done throughout the steak. For $68 ribeye, it should be cooked perfectly every time.

We ordered the iron goddess, the one man Wolf pack, the green salad, the oysters and pork belly appetizer, and the ribeye for the entree. Everything was amazing!

Exquisite food—- lamb shank was falling off the bone with deep flavor. Brussels sprout appetizer was amazing. Dessert was unremarkable but good. Countertop dining was fun with full view of meal preparations.

Made reservations for a post-event downtown and heard they were open late with a late-night menu. The service was excellent and the meal was amazing.

When handed the menu I immediately was concerned that they wouldn’t have an option for me because I have Celiac’s disease. But the staff worked their magic and gave me a plate that was both unexpected and delicious.

As always, the dinner experience was near perfect. The lamb shank was cooked to the point of falling off of the bone, and the encrusted tuna didn't disappoint. Our server was excellent as well.

After a week in nyc and another in Deer Valley we came straight to Iron from the airport. This is our favorite local restaurant and it always rivals any meal we have while traveling.

The food was superb! generous serving of foie gras, the steak was excellent cooked to perfection, the complimentary nutella cake for my hubby's birthday was the sweetest way to end the night. Lia our food attendant was snappy and was friendly. Excellent restaurant =)

My wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, our server Hayden was great, he knew the menu well and really knew the ingredients. It was a good atmosphere however, it is a smallish restaurant so noise travels and a little difficult for an intimate dinner conversation. We will definitely eat here again.

I have eaten in top restaurants across this country, and restaurant iron is as good or ever better than any of them. The service is top-notch, the atmosphere is great, and I have literally never had a bad bite of food in this restaurant. Not the cheapest place in town by any stretch of the imagination, but worth every penny to us.

Our dining experience was fantastic! We went for a friends Birthday and they had a Happy Birthday "her name" at the top of all of our menus at the table... We had the escargot and the brussel sprouts which were superbly done... We each ordered something different we had the pork tenderloin, salmom, mussels and the duck... oh my goodness they were each perfectly presented and you didn't want the meal to end! My husband and I are still talking about it! Yummo! Kudos to the Chef and your team!
