Executive Chef, Alex McPhail has returned to his hometown after 6 years studying under some of the finest chefs in the industry in New Orleans. My husband and I are on vacation in Pensacola from Minnesota and wanted to try something new. This restaurant has great ratings so we decided to try it out. Looking at the menu, I was concerned that our palates may not have been accepting of the food items listed, but everything we had was delicious! The duck debris & gravy fries, the lamb shank and the Atlantic mussels & shrimp were all so good!!! We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Pensacola!

As always, my experience at Iron was outstanding. I have a a favorite waiter, Nick, and he is always attentive, thorough, and pleasant. I made a note in my reservation that this was a special occasion and Iron went above and beyond my expectations to make the evening one to remember.

The food was delicious and well presented. The atmosphere was perfect for a date. Great location downtown. Be sure to make a reservation in advance. Our server was professional and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Valentines Day tasting meal. We had the wine pairing along with it. All courses were prepared to perfection. Iron never lets us down.

I'm the sous chef at Fishers upstairs in orange beach Alabama. I had an opportunity to work with Chef Alex and my wife and I enjoy his food. This was the second time we ate there and it was just as good as the first time. We can't wait to eat with yall again.

Excellent restaurant, food is very creative and the presentation is actually quite elegant. It is somewhat pricey but the food quality and service make it a reasonably good value.
