Dyan was a great waitress. She provided great food and drink recommendations. We had the oxtail dinner, shrimp and grits dinner and the appetizer platter. All were great. We will return!
Great value. Food was good but service was horrible. I think they may be new at upscale dining because numerous mistakes made. Our server kept getting interrupted by other staff member while she was on the way to our table. Then she would give them her attention and walk away with them with our drink/food in hand. Food was served cold. Even when we requested it warmed it still came back cold and not hot. Once a server returned with food that was suppose to be warm he handed the plate directly in the hands of my 11 year old daughter. I had to quickly put my hands in between to the make sure that my daughter did not hold onto a hot place and burn herself. People in our party that ordered the same food received it at different time. I can see that they are trying but need better training of staff and coordination in the kitchen. At dessert time the waitress asked if we wanted anything but never followed up and never brought us a dessert menu. How can decide what we want without a dessert menu or recommendation.
Irie no longer participate with Open Table.
The food was very good, although one of our appetizers was over 30 minutes arriving to our table.
First time here despite mixed reviews. I always need to see for myself. Staff very pleasant but cater to locals, although I found most to still be very accommodating. Started with Jerk wings which were excellent, although the dipping sauce was too sweet. The southern fried pickles were good. Didn't like the mussels at all. I ate all happy hour appetizers for dinner. Wanted to try the bacon wrapped jalapeños but were out. Happy Hour drinks available. Wines were ok.
The food is great, the ambiance is great, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will return.
I Always have a delightful dinning experience - It is my go to place to take family and friends who always thoroughly enjoy the food.
Horrible service. Decent food.
We were disappointment with the food selection and the service was not good.
Great upscale versions of carribean and soul food classics. Great band on a Saturday night playing neo-soul/pop/R&B covers.
Food was good to very good, but the service took forever. Sometimes overly attentive servers, constantly explaining why the food was taking so long. Not vegan knowledgeable, but did accommodate a request to prepare the Greek salad without feta or croutons.
The food was okay, I had the curry chickens roti. I had too many servers and the hostess and desk associates weren't aware of my online reservation. There were gnats flying around and one actually flew into my dessert. My friends and I ordered drinks, the first order of drinks tasted different from the second order of the same drinks-too strong.
we chose Irie for brunch on Easter Sunday. I just recently discovered the brunch, and was disappointed to find that the brunch buffet has been discontinued. However, there was still a good variety of meals available on the menu. I had the chicken and waffles. Everything about it was perfect! My server Doris was nervous because it was her first day. However, the service was excellent. We dine here often and it's a great choice every time. Never had a bad experience.
Irie used to be a small Caribbean cafe. They have expanded to include more space, more food options, great ambiance, a bar and live music. The servers were awesome. Would recommend this place!
Here is an opportunity to try some real Caribbean food. I used to travel to Jamaica and Tobago regularly, and this place accurately recreated the dining delights I experienced on the islands. Try the Curried Goat and the Calaloo, some of the best I have had.
The place is clean, bright, and modern, but the ambiance was somewhat lacking, due in large part to the fact that I went on what turned out to be Karoke night. Mercifully they do not have Karoke every night.
I only had one drink from the bar... a rum drink so sweet and artificial tasting as to be undrinkable. Stick to the wine menu until the bartender gets better. I will come back and try again to see if that was a fluke.
But if you came for the food you won't be disappointed.
The food was good, authentic Jamaican and ambiance was very nice. Service was a little slow given few customers present at the time. However, our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout.
So I reserved a table via Open Table for Father's Day, however, when we arrived they had no record of our reservation. That was so much of an issue but the hostess/greeter was simply rude. She didn't welcome us to the restaurant and seemed annoyed that we were even there. She rudely explained to us that we didn't have a reservation but one of the servers came over and graciously offered to seat us. The server's unfriendly behavior was our first impression and because she was so rude it was a lasting impression on a special day.The food was simply ok as far as Caribbean food goes. I have the Caribbean fried chicken which was fried too hard, my hubby had the oxtails which were a little tough. Won't return there.
The food was delicious from the spinach dip to the main course. I did not have dessert but my homemade strawberry lemonade was yummy. I wish it had real strawberries in it, it would have top the drink off. I love the authencity of the food, it made feel like I was back in Negril, Jamica.
Very very loud, late Friday night. Not the place to go for a quiet dinner.
I really enjoyed the food and service at Irie Bar and Grill. The food was delicious and everyone was so nice. I look forward to my next outing at this restaurant! Two thumbs up!
