Our cuisine is country French and Italian with a New Orleans influence. Although a majority of our seating is available for walk-in guests we do take reservations. While you wait we have a piano player and serve cocktails. We look forward to serving you.

Great atmosphere and food. Servers are knowledgeable polite and friendly. Reservations are advised.
Great last minute find. Excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend.
Food and service was excellent, noise level was high making it difficult to speak with our dinner companions. I would not hesitate to recommend Irene’s to anyone visiting New Orleans.
The family enjoyed our meal very much. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delightful. My only complaint is that we had to wait 25 minutes past our designated reservation time to get seated.
Always our absolute favorite when we visit New Orleans!
Completely and truly amazing! Don’t even question it, just go!
Great service and food. We will definitely go back next time we're in New Orleans.
Excellent dining experience. Everything from the food to the overall ambiance was wonderful. Highly recommended!
Even with reservations, we had to sit in the bar area. Nice ambiance, but a small 2-person high table with stools. Okay until they began cramming 4 people at the small high table next to us.
Shrimp and crawfish pasta was very good. My fish special was dry. Fish was overcooked with too much butter on the top. Spaghetti western cocktail was very good and bread pudding with banana foster topping was good.
Overall a great experience. Some of the main entrees were lacking for their price point, example, over done filet. This however did not take away from the evening, we left happy.
A lovely new find in New Orleans. I will definitely try to get there on my next visit to the city.
My date had never been there and it was one of her favorite nights out.
Outstanding meal with fantastic service. Highly recommend!!!
New restaurant location is excellent. Food and service was outstanding. Love dining here!
Stacey and David are wonderful! You can tell they really care about their jobs and their customers. Food is delicious. This place is a must-visit when in NO!
Just wish there was a stated dress code. I know NOLA is a big tourist destination but a couple walked in toward the end of our dinner wearing crude T-shirts and jeans. We were appalled by the T-shirts and shocked they were allowed in? Otherwise, the food and wine selection was lovely and the wait staff and Sommelier were exceptional.
Celebrated a birthday! The crab Appetizer was Large enough to share. The duck was so delicious. We shared dishes, and all were outstanding!
The entire wait staff offered birthday wishes, and the evening was a huge success for our out of town guest!
Anniversary dinner. Delicious food and great staff!
Pricy and. It worth the bill. Ordered a medium cooked filet and recd raw tough and awful. All courses except desert were sub par. 3 people over 150 ea for bad food , not so smart.
We like you....
Wonderful dining experience. Paul was our server and I’d ask for him when we go back.
My wife and I ate at Irene's on our on our recent trip to New Orleans. It was a very pleasant experience. I even got to meet Irene while are reserved table was made ready.
I had the Lamb à la Provence and my wife had the Duck St. Philip. Both were excellent. I'm usually a little leery about ordering lamb, but I expected good things from Irene's. My wife and I had eaten here about 15 years ago (albeit at the previous location), so had high expectations.
The only mix-up was when they brought my cocktail, it was a mojito rather than the drink I ordered (a smoky flavored tequila drink, which I can't remember the name of). Anyway, they gave me the free mojito while they made my ordered drink. Since they did that, I can't ding them for service.
Overall, it was a pleasent experience.
Fabulous, as always and that is not easy on Lundi Gras! It was our friend's first visit and I thought he might lick the plate. LOL
The escargot was wonderful.
Delicious food, great service. We return to this restaurant every time we come to New Orleans.
Awsome great service wonderful food, well worth making a reservation
What a wonderful dining experience! The best part of the experience was seeing and chatting with Irene. What a terrific lady!!
Great food as usual, and the service was outstanding!
Even tough we were in full costume as cotton candy, the staff was amazing and the food as always was on point!
This used to be my favorite restaurant. But suffered a total miss Saturday night. Food was cold--every dish. The young man who delivered our food could not communicate--had no Enlish language skills. And our server was rushed, frantic and inattentive. Two out of three specials were sold out by 7:30.
The most wonderful dining experience. Every detail was perfect!
Delicious. Best duck in the French Quarter and they’re appetizers are awesome.
Fabulous as always!
Amazing food and the best wait staff I have had in years! We ordered the special veal shank and lamb. They were both outstanding! The noise was only because it was Mardi Gras.
Birthday dinner for my wife was a terrific experience from start to finish. Our party of five was seated at a great table overlooking the street; however we were much more struck by the classy, clubby ambience of Irene’s. Full of vintage photos and old world charm, we felt as if we were transported to a time of greater refinement. Sean was our waiter and he excelled in every aspect of his job. He is a veteran that made us all feel completely welcome. He was very patient explaining the menu and answering our questions. We landed on a great Montalcino (had 2 bottles) for a reasonable price. Among the group we had Grilled Lamb Chops, Duck St. Philip, Lasagna Bolognese, and a Filet Mignon special. We shared a Escargot appetizer. Each dish was perfectly cooked and presented. Portions were substantial and some of us took the extras back to the hotel. My wife was presented with a large piece of “birthday cheesecake” at end of meal. We never felt rushed and just soaked in the experience of a memorable evening. We all can’t wait to return to Irene’s.
The best dining experience we have had in a long time. Outstanding!
