Our cuisine is country French and Italian with a New Orleans influence. Although a majority of our seating is available for walk-in guests we do take reservations. While you wait we have a piano player and serve cocktails. We look forward to serving you.

House made pasta layered with ricotta cheese ground veal, italian sausage and marinara
Crisp hearts of romaine with herbed croutons and shaved parmigiano
Jumbo Lump crabmeat baked in a casserole of swiss and brie
The service and food were great. It was pretty loud not from the music, but from all of the other customers in the room. We don’t live in town and booked this brunch because it was a “jazz brunch” and the band only played a few songs before they went to another area of the restaurant and played. I don’t know if we just had bad timing with our seating time, but a big reason we booked was for the ambiance of live music and we didn’t get much of it, which impacted our rating.
Birthday Dinner. Irenes is my favorite restaurant in NOLA. I dine every time I visit. Love everything about this place!!!!
Our waiter, Paul, was knowledgeable about all the drinks and meals. We shared the drum topped with crabmeat and served with beans and sweet potato hash, which was perfect for us. We haven’t been there in years, but won’t wait that long to return. We loved everything about it-the intimate dining areas, piano bar music, and excellent service.
A friend from out-of-town, and I went before a concert. The service was perfect, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend.
EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL!!!!!
Our waiter Demetrius ROCKED!! Very knowledgeable about the menu. Made us feel extremely welcomed and comfortable!!
A lovely place to relax and enjoy some great food.
Service was excellent, thank you Sean.
Food, as always, was fabulous & even though I had to travel, the experience was worth it - that's saying something (me in da city) Everyone raved about their dishes -
Great dining experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Irene’s. Food was delicious and ambiance was great. An added bonus was that it was a 5 minute walk from our hotel. We encouraged our tour mates to eat there as well.
Incredible. Loved it. Would recommend to everyone.
The service was excellent. Michael made the dinner memorable. The Special chicken dish was cooked to perfection and my husband’s Filet with au gratin potatoes was outstanding. I was very surprised that Irene’s said that my dinner did not qualify for points. That was the only disappointment
Our visit to Irene’s was memorable. I had not been to the new location but it was certainly the perfect move for them.
Irene and her son Nicholas were there and the were both very welcoming.
The food was perfectly cooked and quite flavorful.
Our evening was enjoyable from start to finish.
Wonderful date night for a celebrating and having romance. Live piano, candles and flowers, well dressed tables and the agility to prepare the table for a date night. Amazing vibe, sitting in the courtyard would have been fun but we really enjoyed being near the piano in the back room. They have great specials, get what the waiter/waitress recommends.
Delicious meal, everything was fresh & local! Had a great time celebrating my birthday with the family.
The new restaurant is nice. I liked the old location more. The food was good but not great like last time. The gumbo and meatballs were ok but I won’t order again. The lamb was excellent. The service was fabulous!!
Irene’s is always on point. The food was fresh and delicious. Chocolate martini - amazing!
Antoine made our experience the best, he was attentive and personable, we felt like family. The food was delicious, everything so flavorful and well presented. Irenes is one of the best restaurants in the French Quarter, we dine here every visit to New Orleans
Regular at Ireans local come often . Food is always great . Paul is always our server for years.
If you are looking for the quintessential New Orleans fine dining experience Irenes is the place. Food, venue, vibe come together in a prefect way. We are from here and know this town, and if you are from here or visiting this brings it all together in a classy and classic way.
Excellent atmosphere, food and service. Surprising an upscale restaurant like this sings happy birthday to guests. A bit noisy but still can enjoy a quiet conversation
Food was very tasteful. Definitely would recommend.
Lovely ♥️. Always an enjoyable experience
Excellent as always.
They do a $21 dollar lunch on weekdays. You get to pick an appetizer and a main. The appetizers we chose were oysters and bisque. Not bad. We got both mains, pork chop and catfish. Both horrid. Pork dry and all done. Catfish over breaded served on a loaf of French bread with BLT. Took off the bread and breading. Fortunately they had a lot of ketchup. Super bad. Ate 1/4. Not going back.
Excellent as always. Music a little loud
Returned to Irene’s for another great NOLA dining experience: beautiful restaurant with great food and service. On this occasion we enjoyed the soft shell crab appetizer with lamb chops and San Francisco Cioppino. Always reliable.
We had a lovely time and the food and service was exceptional!
Our waiter Antoine made us feel very welcome and was incredibly detailed in his descriptions of the menu and specials. Best cheesecake I’ve ever had!
Not Italian at all! My daughter ordered an simple bowl of fettuccine Alfredo and it was horrible.
1000000/10 service and food! Can’t beat the live music and atmosphere.
Fabulous. The best restaurant in Nola. Service food ambiance outstanding. Get the lasagna. It is the very best. Crab gratin appetizer delish and the Bibb lettuce salad with walnut dressing fresh and delish.
Our visit was fantastic! Enjoyed both our entrees and the service was wonderful!
typical great Irene's experience. Food was awesome, great service.
Possibly the best restaurant in New Orleans. Our waiter, Daniel, is accommodating and entertaining. Just a great place to have a special evening!
The food was excellent & service from Paul was outstanding.
Irene's cleared all the hurdles. Service, food, atmosphere, all. We have eaten at numerous 1-3 Michelin Stars, and perhaps there were no white gloves, but that's the only thing that was missing. We had the Lamb Chops and the Veal Osso Buco. Both superb. Turtle Soup was excellent although a slightly different preparation, and the Tomatoe Mozzarella Salad was spot on. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Very personable. Kudos.
Always awesome? One of our favorite places in the city! Tough to get reservations, but worth the wait.
Server / Sommelier, Shawn was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. Adrian prepared a wonderful vegan eggplant (beat we have ever had) for the vegans at the table. We will be back for sure!
I can’t recommend enough. The service is the right blend of friendly, fun and professional, food never disappoints and a great atmosphere!
