We love Irelands, great food and the service from Jorge is always 5 star! The portions are large, we always return to home with leftovers. I can get a bit loud when busy, but not bad.
We frequently eat at this restaurant. The food is always good and the service is impeccable. We usually have Jorge as our server and he always make us feel like we are the only couple there.
Great food, but expensive!! A little loud in the restaurant. Great wait staff. Thought if I spent $200 on a couples meal, they should have some nice bread before dinner or complimentary course before dinner or btw dinner and dessert. REALLY GOOD, really expensive. All steaks were btw $49-60 al a carte.
This is not a steakhouse. This is a hotel bar that serves very good steaks. No complaints about the food or even the service, but don't expect a romantic or high-end ambiance. Our visit was marred by an obnoxious group sitting next to us playing a group trivia game on their cell phones yelling out answers and high-fiving each other...while I'm trying to enjoy an $85 porterhouse with my fiancee. At this price point the establishment should be designed to ensure a peaceful and semi-private dining experience, and at the very least have a floor host or manager to politely inform loud guests that they may be detracting from others' dining experience.
Overall it was another good visit to Ireland's. We did find that this time around the food wasn't as good as it has been during previous visits however the ambiance remains very quaint, the service is outstanding and the wine list is superb. Not sure if it was an off night or a new chef however for $220 (not including tip) for 4 people with no alcohol and no appetizers, not sure the value is still there.
Always had a good meal here except this night. Very disappointing! The filet and scallops was ok but the filet was not 8oz. Grouper was over cooked twice and no flavor. They insisted grouper was not frozen, however, it’s out of season... I will not go back.
We haven’t been there in over a year, and went on New Years Eve for an early dinner. I should have realized they would have a pre fix menu. We had another couple with us and they do not like seafood. The soup was lobster bisque. The salad had nuts in it (I’m allergic). They said it was already put together so I just searched them out as best as I could. I’ll try it again though on a non holiday.
Wife and I went for a date night, the service was outstanding. Started with the beet salad, which was on point. Also enjoyed the table bread with 3 different butters. I had the spinalis and my wife had the classic filet, both were perfect. We went with the mashed potatoes as a side and they were rich. Our dessert was a trio sampling that included flan, chocolate mouse, and cheesecake. Delicious. This is a classic steakhouse that delivers on all levels but the best part about the experience was the service.
Tired, expensive and marginal food. Device was good.
Met our kids there. Excellent steak, terrific lobster fries!
Service was not great. Beverages were never refilled. Steak was served raw then came back over cooked. I had surf and turf and they charged me for the lobster part of the entree even though the steak was sent back. I guess I ate half my meal but I thought that was odd. No manager ever came over to apologize.
-Service was very good
-Wait staff was running back and forth to the kitchen, not a prescription for a relaxing evening.
-Lemon drop martini was horrible, all simple syrup.
-Lobster Mac and cheese was claw meat only, very fishy, and tasted like they spilled the salt shaker in it.
-Lobster tails were perfect, but they serve it with a horrible herb butter.
-Steak was a great cut of meat, but was barely warm and dry, which tells me it sat under a light for awhile.
-It was our 21 wedding anniversary, and I thought this was going to be a great restaurant by the reviews. Don’t waste the money, 200 dollars for two people, or waste your time.
I liked it so much my first visit, two days later I came back with friends.
This experience with Ireland's Steakhouse Bonaventure Resort & Spa was similar very good to my first one, which is one of the reasons I returned 48 hours later with others. Though quite convenient if staying in the hotel, it's also a "destination steakhouse" that is different from other ones in the area. Though the menu is not exhaustive, it is far more than sufficient, whether you are an omnivore, vegetarian, gluten-intolerant, choose to seek or avoid spiciness -- Ireland's seems to accommodate all tastes and preferences. ALL of the staff are quite wonderful, but this was my second interaction with Doug, who always took it upon himself to see that each guest achieves exactly what is desired.
Ireland’s Steakhouse Bonaventure Hotel was so enjoyable that I returned two days later with guests. The service is enthusiastic, and the decor is “old school,” which is refreshing and quite grownup (though grownups of all ages should find this establishment to be enjoyable). The menu is sufficient (no pages and pages of unnecessary-decision-making), with surely something for everyone (fish, vegetarian, beef, etc.). Well-served, no rushing, and a relaxed evening. They do a very nice job. Especially if you’re a guest at the Bonaventure, you should consider spending some time at Ireland’s Steakhouse Bonaventure. By the way, on my second visit I ordered the seared tuna, which was exquisitely-fresh and served with a very generous portion! The desserts are small enough to be guilt-free.
Luke took great care of my date and myself. He was attentive, courteous and engaging. The food was outstanding, the wine was perfect and the night was a success. I will be frequenting this restaurant in the future, if only for their Brussel sprouts. The pool outside was a wonderful end to the night, overall I was impressed.
