Great Food. On a business trip and I enjoy going and eating where locals go. The price was reasonable and the food was great. Half of our group went to some restaurant in DC and probably spent 3times as much on their meal. We were able to walk to the place while the other group had to take a Taxi. Our group definitely got the better deal
IF you are staying in the area, put this on your "Try Out" list
It was great!
Good American breakfast without surprise; food has been presented as expected. Something you can prepare with potatoes, eggs, sausage, bacon and bread. But they are prepared like at home, and that is a must for the true comfort food.
Excellent, had a great time.........................

Accommodated us wonderfully and the service is always friendly!
Chili is outstanding. Very comfortable place and relaxed atmosphere.
disappointed that you have discontinued your clam chowder / bisque soup. Always a favorite. Pls keep up your happy hours.
Would recommend you look to expand your menu a bit to include more options.
Good place to meet and drink/eat with friends, decent beer and whiskey selection. Can personally recommend the corned beef and cabbage, which comes with boiled veggies and lots of very nice meat. The Guinness was just the right temperature and spot on, with a very fair price. We had chicken wings for appetizers: quite good. All in all, we enjoyed it, and I would go again.
A great restaurant to watch football games! Great deals and great food.
The waiter was very accommodating. We stopped in for an early dinner.
really enoyed their authentic full Irish breakfast!!
Visiting DC with friends and staying in Arlington we quickly became aware that eating in Arlington was a better option than trying to battle DC traffic. four Courts was in the neighborhood of our rented apartment ... easy to access ... terrific food allowing us to sample some "Irish" dishes while drinking nice beers and cocktails. Service was excellent although we did come mid-afternoon. Enjoyed everything about t his place including parking on the street!
Fantastic place to have Sunday brunch and watch Premier League soccer in an energetic environment.
I was there for dinner with three old friends and we ate outside. Found parking behind the restaurant, a plus. Food was very good especially the shepherd's pie. Nice selection of beers, Harp, Guinness and a good selection of local beers on tap. There was a soccer game on the screens indoors and the noise level was such that we could have not had a conversation with out raising our voices. The noise was the only problem, we were very glad to be outside, but outside is not far from a busy street.
The salmon and spinich salad was delicious. The service was good and the atmosphere was lively but not too loud. Patrons were of all ages and it was very pleasant.
The bar area might be fun for happy hour. But for lunch, this place has taken a nose dive.
Went for a Sunday Brunch and was very pleased with quality and price.
The minute we walked in we were told we had to buy raffle tickets to eat there. Went for the pub atmosphere but the beer selection was nonexistent. Waitress was slow, didn't know the menu, and just generally could have cared less. Atmosphere was loud and the band was TERRIBLE. Food was actually ok, but nothing special. This place is not worth your time or your money.
Beautiful little neighborhood gem! Food was great, and not the ordinary pub grub.
Great fish n chips for Lent on Friday. Very busy. Glad for a corner table as it was a boisterous night
Always a great time! Great Irish ambiance for everyone to enjoy.
Server brought extra beer when it wasn't ordered. Chicken fingers tasted like they had just been taken out of a freezer, nothing special. Wings were good.
Great accommodations for a last minute get together. Service was excellent and fiid was great!
went for brunch. Brunch buffet food was not very hot, not very fresh, over salted. But it was only $15.95 per person. The one eyed paddy (burger) was excellent and was served with tater tots that were crispy and delicious. wait staff was very attentive.
The food here is actually very good but it is definitely set up to be more of a drinking spot. They were very busy when we went, so the food took a while. We didn't mind but we also didn't think our waitress was very friendly. We also never received the appetizer we had ordered. I would say if you want to go here for dinner aim for an early dinner before the drinking crowd arrives as the music and talking gets so loud I could barely hear myself think. I would recommend this place though, just know what to expect!
Great Irish fare in a traditional pub atmosphere. The fire place is a nice touch in a cold winter afternoon or evening. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Needed a convenient spot for a quick dinner with a friend. Seating by the fireplace was perfect on the first of many very chilly days. Menu selection and recommendations from staff hit the spot perfectly!
This is a great neighborhood pub...the happy hour specials are amazing and they have the best wings in the area! Will definitely be back- the service was terrific, best bar staff ever!
Again --Another great evening. The food and happy hour prices are excellent!
Great food and great spot to watch NFL games!
Only negative is not 4 courts problem. Heavy noisey traffic in area. Other than that outstanding visit. Came here two months ago loved and decided to come back.
The service and food were both great! The hostess took us right away and we got a good table (for four). The wait staff was attentive and food was delivered very quickly. The amount of food was very good, and all four of us were pretty happy with our dishes. My husband had corned beef and cabbage and would have preferred more cabbage, but everything else was excellent.
We went for am early dinner and service, ambiance, and food were great.
Food was alright but pretty bland. I wouldn't repeat.
I've been going to Four Courts ever since it opened and have always thought the food was good and the service friendly. Over two recent trips, it seems they've gotten a bit tired. Most recently, on an unusually quiet Friday evening, our burgers were average at best, cole slaw came out warm (so tepid in fact I was wondering if I'd suffer later for having eaten it), the ordered beer was unavailable (and what we next ordered wasn't billed correctly) and our server seemed indifferent. I'll give it another chance, as burgers alone do not make or break an Irish restaurant/bar. But after 20+ years(?)! they may need to refocus their effort. Still great potato leak soup, btw.
I always have a wonderful experienced when I dine at FCs!
I take relative and friends to FCs when I want to impress.
Wonderful food and service.
Go and enjoy!
We went to Four Courts for Brunch on Memorial Day holiday weekend with family because the last two times we went there thorough enjoyed the the buffet style brunch. For Memorial Day holiday however they were not serving brunch which was identified upon our arrival. Needless to say we were disappointed that the web did not identify that brunch was NOT available.
Brought the family here for Mother's Day brunch. At first, from the look on my wife's face, I thought I had dropped the ball bigtime. After all, this is a bar, first and foremost, so it is rather noisy. Trying to communicate across table was difficult at best. But the food on the brunch buffet was excellent, so she warmed up to the experience rather quickly. Plus, we were there toward the end of the brunch rush, so it thinned out and quieted down soon after our arrival. The selection of foods was surprisingly good, the fruit was fresh and the biscuits and gravy was among the best I've ever had. The only drawback is there are no scrambled eggs on the line--you have to order those at the omelet station. Still, at least they HAVE an omelet station and a carving station boot! The food was so good I had three plates!
Been coming to Irelands Four Courts for many years now and the food and service is always good here. We have also had a big party in the party room which was a big hit.
Just went here for Mothers Day Sunday brunch food was very good. Loved the complimentary Mimosa! The Bloody Marys are fantastic and would come for those alone. Another bonus, the omelet bar, and variety of food.
A big plus is that kids under 13 pay half of adult brunch price. Really good value overall. I will be continue to be a regular here and back again for brunch for sure. Of course its an Irish pub and restaurant that serves great food, atmosphere and Guinness! What more can you ask for!
Very relaxed environment, responsive staff, good food with an authentic Irish slant, plus a terrific brunch
