Quick and attentive service and good food - perfect for a nice business or casual lunch.
Food options went downhill big time. No healthy options. Not really willing to help you either
Food was poor. I did the breakfast buffet and my friend ordered the eggs Benedict. The buffet food was not fresh and poor quality. Best part was the fruit. The eggs were over cooked in the eggs Benedict. Service was basic. Would highly recommend staying away from IPO--at least for brunch.
Went for brunch and unfortunately were ten mins late. The food was greasy and over priced for the quality. Unfortunately not one I would recommend.
IPO is too loud for useful business conversation. We had chosen a 1pm lunch hoping the lunch crowd would have died down. We'll try 11am next time. Food is always good, and the service (Gregory) was, as always, respectful and attentive without being distracting.
Pleasant atmosphere and great wifi
It's a hotel restaurant. Nothing more nothing less. Everything met expectations but did not exceed.
Menu was wrong. I purposefully went there for the lobster Benedict that was on the menu on the Internet. It wasn't on the menu when I went there. It was also freezing cold in the dining room and the chairs were too heavy for disabled access.
Went for a quick lunch on my break from work. The decor is BEAUTIFUL. The menu looked amazing. I was still a little confused about their hours of operations but I digress. I enjoyed the Mahi Mahi Tacos and the Ceasar Salad , as well. Both were delicious. I have never had a Mahi Mahi that wasn't dry! Cooked to perfection . Pretty quiet atmosphere.
We enjoyed some great breakfast food as a family after my brother's graduation.
I have several food allergies and they were easily accommodated. Thank you!
I went there for a lunch date. The restaurant is located in the W, which can be confusing when trying to find the place. However, the decor is very nice and the staff is friendly. The menu isn't too big, but the food is good. I enjoyed my quinoa bowl that I had, except I was less than enamored with the price. However, the price is about consistent with a lunch entree there... especially in that location. Overall, I would recommend checking this place out!
The staff was very friendly and patient as our group staggered in. It felt like we were able to step away from the typical downtown rush and noise into a comfortable atmosphere. We'll be returning. Good food and service for a reasonable price.
The food was surprisingly good and the service was great as well!
This place is dead for a reason. Typical old school hotel restaurant- seems like a "must have" for their guests who want breakfast more than a destination spot for anybody else in the city.
The waiters and host staff were so busy having their own conversations that they could barely be bothered with us and didn't even respond to our "goodbyes" on departure. Breakfast tables were being set up all around the three tables of lunch diners. Food is fine. Not remarkable, but not disappointing.
Try their crab cake sandwich and po'boy sandwich!
Room was too loud for a conversation without shouting, so we moved into the hotel lobby.
All parties enjoyed their food, I loved the fish taco
This was the worst business lunch I have hosted in twenty-five years! Two meals were delivered promptly. My client's meal arrived 45 minutes after the other two meals. She had time to take two bites and needed to leave. The staff was reminded several times with no response. It ruined very one's lunch not to mention how distruptive it was to a productive lunch.
Very tasty food, but a limited Lunch menu as compared to other spots around town. First class service.
Eggs are easy, not here. They can't cook eggs. Server tried to leave burnt toast at the table. He actually asked if it was 'ok' before he turned around to take it back. Next round of 'toast' was really just warm bread. STAY AWAY.
Nice place for a business lunch. Menu is varied and offers something for everyone. I went last week. I remember the plates were pretty, but I cannot recall what we ate.
IPO is a good spot for breakfast or lunch. The menu is interesting, the service is attentive but not intrusive. It is a good place for business meals.
The decor of the restaurant was very appealing and modern. The food was very fresh as we ordered off the brunch menu on New Years day. We both had omelettes made to order with bacon and potatoes. Everything was very fresh. The coffee was delivered warm to our table. My only complaint was about the service. Mind you, we got seated right away as the place was rather empty. However, the waiter was not attentive at all. I ordered coffee right when we sat down, I had to ask him about again 10 minutes later. When our food was delivered, I asked for toast. 15 minutes later, still no toast..I saw another waiter and advised him to tell my waiter that I no longer wanted the toast. Our server did not arrive back to our table again for another 20 minutes when he brought the check. I asked for him to refill our water glasses and explained to him that I thought the service was subpar. He offered no apology and took our payment. Normally, I would ask for a manager but in this case I did not have time and was ready to leave. We paid our tab and we left. Needless to say I will not be back to this location, even though the food was good. I go out to eat not only for the food but also the service.
It was not as originally expected, but was more like a high level hotel coffee shop. However, since we were there for brunch, the atmosphere was fine. We loved the unlimited mimosas and the variety of eggs benedict to choose from was great - a lot of food as well! Perfect for New Year's Day!
It was yummy as usual. The Steak wrap was perfectly done and the burger looked amazing my friend had..
The quinoa dish was a flop. Overall the food was, as is typical, fairly good. We will go back- just not an ideal outing this time.
Service was excellent. Food was very good. Omelet was a little overdone, but still tasty. Lobster skillet was really buttery and the sauce was good, but a little heavy on the onions.
My daughter and I ate brunch at IPO on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The food (their version of Eggs Benedict) was fine, the Mimosa rather lame. The place was nearly empty so it was quiet. Nice place but overall it was not worth the $91.00 we spent. For brunch for two?? We have had appetizers, dinner, and desert at many fine places for that price. Won't be returning.
