The food and service were excellent, we will dinner at Iozzo's again.
Overall, my experience at Iozzo's was great. We had great food and a fabulous server.
Again, great food, great staff, great atmosphere! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they had the table set up just they I asked. I had flowers delivered and they had them ready for my wife when we got there. Just can’t say enough great things about this place! Job well done!
I have been to Iozzo's on numerous dates, and have rarely left unsatisfied. But, the most recent visit is an exception. The service was fine, but the food was bland. Even the veal, which is my go to, had no flavor. The risotto was crunchy and undercooked...it was just a very expensive but disappointing experience.
Excellent as always.
Service and food never disappoint! We always look forward to the seared scallops appetizer. Delicious!
Daughter’s 21st bday - Anthony was a fantastic “member” of our table - really great information and service. Request him if you can.
We always enjoy dining in the garden. If you haven't enjoyed dinner under the stars in the garden, your missing it! The food and service always speak for themselves!
Great service and food but a little pricey.
I have been here several times and it is perfection for each and every time! The service and food at Iozzos is unmatched. One of my favorite places in the city! Great place to go!
Everything was fantastic, food was delicious, and drinks on point! The only thing I would ask would point out as a negative is the parking. Being a first time guest I drove around for over 10 minutes trying to make sure I wouldn’t be leaving a delightful meal to having no car to drive home in. Signs posted say No Parking or you will be towed. It would be nice to have notes in the confirmation email that parking in the street or side lot is fine while dining only. We will be back regardless of parking issues!
This June was our 4 wedding anniversary date and we consider your restaurant on of our only two places to celebrate special times in our lives.
The second place is the Farm in Bloomington.
Mary Ellen and John.
Everything was awesome! We ordered WAY to much food & enjoyed every bite!
Excellent meal and service. The only downside was its popularity. My dinner was on Monday night and it was crowded and thus somewhat noisy.
It was my husband’s birthday. We had a party of 6 at a busy time, 6:30. The bartender was our waiter. Service was SLOW as he took time to chat up female patrons at the bar. It was a long tome between ordering, arrival of bread, then salad and FINALLY our entrees. The entrees were delicious. Our salad orders not quite as ordered but tasty. Extra waitstaff would have been a bonus especially since there was no outside seating that night.
We tried Iozza's for the first time and were very pleased with our experience. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan off the regular menu and my husband ordered Scallops and Cauliflower off the specials menu. Both were excellent. Service was friendly and readily available. Overall great place. Highly recommend.
Great food and great service it made our special occasion that much more special. Our waiter Anthony was outstanding, he was very prompt and took special care for our first time guests. High recommend the pasta dishes, they are fabulous.
One of our favorite restaurants. Great food and atmosphere! Service is excellent.
It is my favorite restaurant in the city for Italian.
Iozzo's is our special place when we're in the mood for Italian. The meatballs are excellent, much like my Mother's. Service is friendly and attentive but not over bearing. Room is pretty noisy, but conversation is still possible.
Service was excellent. Every dish was hot and delicious.
Excellent food and service. You won't be disappointed.
Love the watermelon appetizer. Wait staff was phenomenal. As well as the food. We sat outside beautiful evening are only complaint was we were too close to the band and could not hear conversation
Location is great for any downtown activity after dinner. The food, though not inexpensive, is always very good. The wine list is lovely and the seasonal foods are always a treat! Loved the summer strawberry shortcake! We were in and out in a timely fashion in order to move our car and get to a concert!
Our waiter Brian was excellent and the food was superb!!!
One of my favorite places, where they know your name. So comfortable, so welcoming. Great food, good selection of wines, special events like live music, unusual dishes and deserts you cannot get anywhere in town. Love this place.
Nice restaurant it's small, cozy, and friendly staff.
Iozzo's was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I to celebrate our first anniversary together. Our reservation was honored on time, and the hostess had no trouble seating us outside.
Our server was friendly, casual and prompt. She made sure that we were always taken care of. Every course was paced well, every dish was delicious. We were there for over two hours and never felt like our night was falling behind.
After finishing dinner, our server brought us champagne and dessert "on the house for your anniversary." By this time the sun had gone down and most of the dinner crowd had left. We enjoyed this unexpected surprise, now mostly alone in a beautiful space, and told each other that we would absolutely be back for another meal soon.
Best Italian in the city!!!!
Iozzo's Garden of Italy never fails to be a great food and wine experience...and dessert too! We love coming and have been since it opened. I have referred so many friends and family too and everyone always says, it's the best Italian in Indy!
Pam Anderson and Phil Berg
Enjoyed the food. Parking was challenging. Server was a little forgetful but very knowledgeable. We did not mind as we were enjoying our girls night out.
Service was great. Food is good price is also. Very welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very sweet and engaging. We will be back to try more dishes and have some more limoncello.
Outstanding Service and great food.
The noise level was very moderate and not annoying.
The gluten-free pasta is some of the best I’ve ever had and there were many options on the menu . I had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was incredible, shrimp were large. Our server was knowledgeable and very friendly as well as the hostesses and the host.
Iozzo's is one of my favorite restaurants in the city with delicious food, wonderful cocktails, and a beautiful patio to enjoy during warmer weather. I am always impressed by my dinner there.
We love Iozzo’s! The service has always been above par and the food never disappoints. We like that it is casual, yet has an elegant feel. Perfect for a date night or dinner with the family. The “Tour” is what my husband and I like to get, when it’s the two of us. You can’t beat a taste of their popular dishes. Iozzo’s is our go to for Italian. They can’t be beat!
Iozzo's Garden of Italy was our best dining experience during six days in Indianapolis. We were fortunate to be there on a beautiful evening and sat outside on the garden patio listening to Phil --great grandson of the founder and brother of the current owner-- singing and playing the guitar. Our waiter Anthony was knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, even offering to bring us tastes of two different wines to compare before buying a bottle. The scallop and artichoke appetizer was amazing, followed by our entrees--spaghetti with shrimp and spinach pesto and linguine with clam sauce, both of which were so incredibly delicious, we mopped up all the sauce with the crusty bread. If you want Italian food, this is the only place to go in Indy. We tried Osteria Pronto in the JW Marriott at the urging of the concierge there and were sorely disappointed. We have spent considerable time in Italy and Osteria Pronto was definitely not authentic--it was overpriced, and nearly all the entrees were in cream-based sauces. At Iozzo's Garden of Italy, you can have a white tablecloth fine dining experience inside or a casual experience outside on the patio. The prices are reasonable and the food is truly authentic, based on the owners' grandparents' recipes from the original restaurant which opened in 1930. Ask about the story behind it... it's a great one! We will definitely return whenever we visit Indianapolis.
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Iozzo’s and it was outstanding. Their Iozzos For Two option gave us a chance to try several dishes at a reasonable price. Such a great experience!
