Excellent food, great location. Easy parking access/available. To bit loud, but if want to avoid the loud area ask for the tables closer to the kitchen

Love this place. Great wine and great food. The place is small and cozy with a nice ambiance. They have very reasonable prices and a nice list of appetizers. The service and staff were impeccable. The duck confit was absolutely wonderful as well as the foie gras. If you pair that with a a bottle of Justine it doesn't get any better. I would come back again and again just for those two dishes. I highly recommend paying them a visit.

The food and service were great! Plan to spend about $30/ plate. We got a gift card and were celebrating our anniversary. Otherwise it would be a bit pricey for my liking especially given the ambiance. It's pretty loud and crammed. Great place just expect noise and moderate priced entrees.

Great food and great service. Ordered plates to be shared and main courses and it was a lot of food! For two, a couple of plates to be shared would have been enough if you eat to be satisfied. Overall, a very enjoyable experience! We will be back.

The food here is always amazing. I've tried most of the sharable items and they are the perfect size. The entrees are well thought out and have been perfectly cooked.

The food was good, but not great. However, the service was excellent. The waitress was very knowledgable about the different wines and brought out samples of several different wines to help us decide on a bottle. Thursday night is 1/2 off wine bottles ($40 and less), and they'll cork the bottle and give you a bag to take any leftover wine home.

We do not live in Escondido, but we come here a couple times a year when in town. This is just a nice cozy wine bar type restaurant. The food and service are always good and the menu is interesting, but not lengthy.

I have been to Intertwined on 3 occasions. The food has always been wonderful. I find the service to be lacking though. The servers are very friendly, but on two of our visits we were always thirsty and looking for someone to refill our water glasses. We also brought our own wine and paid the corkage fee, no problem, but then we had to pour our own wine all evening. I thought that was a little odd and have never experienced that at other restaurants. Other than that, we really enjoy our visits to Intertwined and will return.

Love this restaurant, the food. and especially the food. they know how to grill fish and steak dishes spot on. If there is an issue of any kind (very very rare event) they immediately address the issue and insure you are pleased with the result and your dining experience ... they really want to know if everything is OK. Highly recommended.

We took some friends there last Fri. evening and they enjoyed their salads and the ravioli
that was stuffed with spinach and cheese - they loved the latter.

My husband ordered crab cakes that were good - we also ordered stuffed dates wrapped
in bacon - delicious!

My chicken with goat cheese wasn't as good as on previous visits.

The brussel sprouts needed more cooking - they were tough -

Place was super-crowded and super loud! We had a reservation so were seated immediately, but apparently staff was short-handed (or there was a new busboy) and we weren't attended to, not even for a glass of water, for over 10 minutes. After our server arrived, all was well. Apparently it was also half-price bottle of wine night (for bottles $40 and under), which explains why it was so crowded. That's a good thing, of course (always glad to see local restaurants getting business). However, the tables are so closely situated, you're basically dining with strangers, particularly in the main dining room. Other than that, food was excellent, lots of small plates that are definitely suitable for sharing. If you want peace and quiet, ask for a table in the back of the restaurant (perhaps), or arrive before 6 or after 8, perhaps?
