Inovasi Ratings and Reviews
Service: Our server was attentive and went over the dishes with us in detail, as well as answering any questions we had.
Food: I was recommended and had the opportunity to try their family style tasting menu. Honestly, everything was delicious. The vegetables were roasted to the right degree of caramelization/crispiness, the crispy calamari was melt in my mouth tender, the Wisconsin sirloin with flavor while being an extremely lean cut of meat. My favorite was still the lamb, which was complemented by an excellent garnishes and sauces.
Drinks: I had sips of 2 different pre-dinner cocktails which were all amazing. We had an excellent corvina to accompany our meal recommended by Mr. B
I love eating good food, and it is clear there is pride in the quality and preparation here. Restaurant is managed by a great fashion, vision and talent.
There was a time when we were such regulars at Inovasi we knew the servers well enough to have conversations about our families. But as the food and service became more inconsistent and declined, we found ourselves drifting away from the restaurant. We returned last night after an absence of nearly a year and were pleasantly surprised. Every dish we had was full of robust, interesting flavors. We especially enjoyed the brioche, the calamari, and the beet salad. Our server, Ann, was knowledgeable about the menu, personable, and attentive. It reminded us of the Inovasi of old. We will be back soon. If the consistency can be maintained, perhaps we will be regulars again.
Definitely a gluten-free paradise! Just about everything on the menu is or can be made GF. The kitchen is great about altering the menu (and cocktails) to meet diners requests, even if it's switching out the protein in the special of the day. Having been to Inovasi several times with this same group of friends, we all agreed the food was exceptionally good this time. Everything was full of flavor, fresh, and delicious.
New sushi menu is excellent. Quality and flavor of the sushi we tried was outstanding. We love this restaurant (always have) and will continue to come back often. Fall menu had many new and interesting offerings. We shared two chicken dishes and both were delicious. Highly recommend!
Everyone’s food was exceptional. I enjoyed the thick creamy fish chowder, potatoes were sweet and soft, fish melted in my mouth, thick bacon, delicious! This is a small/medium/large plate menu, but when asked how many the plates served, our server’s response was 1, 2, or more...not helpful. We all just ended up ordering an individual medium plate and it was plenty for 1.
I have been to Inovasi a number of times and have always enjoyed it. On this visit I went with a group of 5 and we decided to have the "family style," meal, where you let the kitchen choose what dishes you will have, served in several waves of food corresponding to the categories on the menu of small, medium and larger plates (plus dessert). The array of food was way beyond our exceptions for the extremely reasonable price. We were hungry at the start and dug right in, but eventually wished we had paced ourselves a little better for the final savory courses which included duck confit with a butternut squash stew, smoked brisket, and mussels in a creamy tomato sauce. Along the way we had burrata, a selection of sushi and poke, calamari and Japanese fried rice. The noise volume was challenging when we arrived at 8 p.m. on Friday night, but calmed down considerably with 30 minutes or so. Cocktails and wine offerings also notable and good value.
We had the best dinner ever at Inovasi.
We were served by the general manager. They were very busy however they were able to accommodate us. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings. From calamari to muscles to bank Lane salad all very good for the first course. Second course was even better they add some sushi, Cod chowder, grilled mahi mahi. For dessert we had chocolate for two carrot cake and creme brulee. Thank you and I want to see the best restaurants in North Shore.
Celebrated my wife's birthday recently. We had been to Inovasi once before and found it to special in terms of creative, and well prepared dishes. And was curious why there was such a wide range of reviews. Our experience was excellent...Food was great and service by Adam was
also noteworthy. We had , calamari, squash soup, fried rice, duck confit, and the brisket among other items. We would go back without hesitation for another special evening.
We want to enjoy the happy hour in the bar. We were seated promptly and warmly greeted upon arrival. Our server was OK. She took our drink orders but they were slow to arrive. The same for our food, 20 minutes after we ordered. The Spanish mussels, though small were very tasty. The flatbread was OK, but dry.
The bar area was very noisy, despite a small crowd.
I hadn't been to Inovasi in quite a while and it was not quite as good as my previous visits. The menu was a little disjointed and it was difficult to find multiple dishes that went together well.
That said the meal was delicious and it is still a great restaurant for any nice occasion.
