About Inn on the Twenty
On The Twenty was envisioned as a place where Niagara's food and wine bounty could be presented in an innovative and inspiring way. We aim to deliver freshness and sophistication to meals that will harmonize well with the wines of Cave Spring and its colleagues in this unique wine region. Where possible, we focus on fresh regional produce that our neighbours grow here in Niagara. Our location was decided on by Leonard Pennachetti who, when looking for a building with a great cellar, happened upon the old Jordan Wines building. The building in which the restaurant is located dates back to the 1830s. The addition of the terrace, restaurant, meeting space, gardens, and many retail boutiques have totally changed the character of both the building and this end of historic Jordan Village. All in all, Jordan Village makes a great destination for a day trip, special event, or a romantic getaway. It is our privilege to enjoy Jordan everyday, we would love to share it with you.

Inn on the Twenty Ratings and Reviews
We were pleasantly surprised to find we could get in on New Year’s Eve and were so pleased with the restaurant overall. The food was spectacular, very flavorful, perfect portion size & cooked beautifully. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Everyone we told where we were going, from Toronto, Niagara Falls & Hamilton, all knew where we were talking about & said it was divine. They were all right.
We treated ourselves to a night at Inn on the Twenty and dining in the restaurant for our Christmas gift. Both the accommodations and dining experience exceeded our expectations.
The service, food and wine list (of course) were all exceptional.
I would highly recommend it.
This is a wonderful restaurant for a relaxed but elegant meal. The food was tasty and beautifully presented. Our server, Brian was delightful. He was very attentive and so very pleasant. I am a big water drinker, and he was so aware of the appropriate moments to refill my glass. We were dining with friends and while Brian was always close at hand, he was very respectful of the fact that we were engaged in private conversation, and did not interrupt us at all. But whenever I needed something, he seemed to be right there. An excellent server.
This was our second time dining at Inn on The Twenty. We enjoyed our lunch the first time and dinner didn't disappoint. My beet tart, as the appetizer, was a large portion of different coloured baby beets on a goat cheese cloud with a thin pastry base. Just delightful. My husband had the local green salad with icewine poached bosc pear. Truly a treat. The roast chicken entree came with fabulously flavourful vegetables of pureed squash, mushrooms, spaghetti squash with an au jus. I would come back just for this dish! My husband wanted the scallops and they were able to create an entree dish with large roasted sea scallops, corn and charizo sausage. Both dishes did not disappoint. The wine menu however is not to our taste. We'd prefer a larger selection of Ontario wines or at least a larger selection of International wines.
It is nice to have higher end dining but in a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is limited but it allows a range of options. The waiter was very good with his explanations of a particular paired wine and dessert options. The tuna tartar was very tasty and light. My bouillabaisse could have been a bit hotter and spicier. The candied nuts accompanying the pumpkin chiffon capped off a very good meal.
The setting is stunning -- beautiful view of the valley -- and the service is friendly and attentive. The food we found only so-so this time, though it was better on another occasion. Not cheap but not expensive either. I'd recommend it for families and friends, but not for a gourmet event.
Wonderful dinner with family from out of town . Reserved for Taste of the Kitchens Niagara. Food was wonderful especially pear tart and tenderloin. Red wine suggested was outstanding.
Great value.. only negative was a little delay between appetizers and main courses. dining room was not overly busy...easy to have conversations... deserts were delightful
Great food & great service. Nice ambiance. Did and excellent job catering to my wife's allergies, created something very flavourful given extensive constraints - not an easy accomplishment with no garlic, onion, peanuts, sesame, milk...
Two minor criticism, portion size a little small - ended up craving more because it was so delicious... and tables for 2 really close to each other. Perhaps not an issue on busier nights with background noise, however was a relatively quite evening and could hear conversations from surrounding tables because they where so close. Unfortunate, because other areas of restaurant were empty.
Another tremendous meal at Inn On The Twenty. Celebrating my wife's birthday with friends, I was hopeful that our past experiences here would hold true for this dinner, and of course, the experience was every bit as good as hoped. Impeccable service, a lovely environment, and a creative menu offering local and wine-focused food at reasonable prices. It is elegant, but not pretentious. It's creative, but not for the sake of being trendy. From the moment we walked in to the moment we waddled back out, we were all quite happy with our dinner experience.
My husband and I had dinner on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is nice, especially if the seating allows one to enjoy the view of the small garden surrounded by the trees, all lush and green still with butterflies and birds flying here and there. The service was good, especially our waitress, a very attentive and funny person, quite likable. The meal overall was ok, we had a sweet potato soup followed by the steak, both prepared as requested. We also had the cheese platter which was good, sizable chunks of each cheese to try multiple times. We chose to heed to the wine pairing suggestions and that was not so good, the Riesling white was drinkable if you didn't have it with the food, but the Pinot Noir was dreadful, a yeasty and off-putting smell and flavour of diluted grape juice. All in all, still a nice ambiance despite the iffy wines.
Our annual visit that never. My wife had the Red Snapper and declared it perfectly cooked with an ideal vegetable accompaniment. Too view chefs know how to properly prepare fish so it is moist and flaky. The Inn On the Twenty chef is the wonderful exception.
I chose the chicken since I love mushrooms and was told they were plentiful in this dish. I usually find chicken is only on the menu because it has to be, not because it is has an exceptional presentation. The Inn's chicken was amazing. Moist, flavourful and unique. I loved the mushroom stuffing and the accompanying side of mushrooms. Hope it stays on the menu until we are back in December.
I came here for lunch with my family. It's a very lovely restaurant on the main street of a nice village. Very scenic. We all started off with the soup of the day which was supposed to have been tomato and basil but then they ran out and we had roasted corn, which was so tasty!! For the mains it was a mix of burgers and steak frites. Everything was so tasty. Special thanks to our waitress Cathy for great service. I would highly recommend this place for a nice lunch while touring the area.
We were very pleased to return to this restaurant. The ambiance, service and food make this restaurant a gem. Local ingredients contribute to a wonderful taste sensation. There was no one in our party of four that expressed disappointment in what they had.
Loved the service, food and ambiance.
This is consistently the best fine-dining restaurant I have found in the Niagara wine region. The food is mainly local and imaginatively and extremely competently prepared. Excellent wine list too. The servers have a high degree of professionalism and really know the dishes. Beautiful location too, overlooking a garden and forested ravine.
