Revisiting a favourite spot from past years.
One of our favourite restaurants in the Niagara Region. The food quality and presentation are always exceptional.
A wonderful evening in a charming dining room with great service from our waiter. The food was different, tasteful, exciting and extremely delicious. Certainly not a disappointment but was exceptional which is what we wanted for the evening we were there.
Always enjoy Sunday brunch or a supper any time of the year.
Service and food never disappoints.
Ambiance is great!
$35 corkage fee is simply inexplainable for Jordan, Ontario.
Went to Inn on the Twenty with two girlfriends for lunch. They served bread and butter- the bread was soooo amazing. We had mussels to start which were in a delicious sauce. I had the Winemakers luncheon with a parsnip and apple soup to start and my main I selected was the eggplant and zucchini Parmesan. It was so good. The dessert was an apple crumble which was very tasty. My friends also very much enjoyed their meals. Definitely would go back. Worth the drive.
Lovely place for our anniversary dinner. Very attentive service, tasty food and a good wine list. While a bit on the pricy side, certainly worth the investment for a special occasion!
We came here to celebrate our anniversary as we have been here a few times before and have enjoyed it. We were greeted and seated immediately and everything was fine until the couple right next to us were seated and received complimentary wine for their anniversary. It was pretty upsetting that I specifically said I was there celebrating my anniversary and we got to watch the table next to us be celebrated. The food was great but the Mushroom Risotto could have had better presentation and the vegetable side was a little salty. Bryan was our server and he was absolutely delightful! One last unfortunate part of our time was that my husband left with the finish of the wood on his hands and arms just from resting them there. It would be nice to see them get an update. Also, I’m not sure if the waiters are required to ask this but it was really weird to have both our table and 3 others around us asked by two separate servers “are you sure you don’t want an appetizer to start” and “what about a digestif with your dessert”. It was just be nice to have a little bit more of a tailored experience in that sense.
Excellent quality of food, local ingredients, really good portion size, won't leave hungry.
Five former workmates met for wine and cheese reunion on Tuesday afternoon. Jordan Village is central to the five of us as we are from Burlington, Niagara Falls, Grimsby, Beamsville and Campden. The easy drive was perfect for all. The venue is elegant and friendly, with amazing local shops all around. We lingered for 2.5 hours enjoying cheese boards and other nibbles paired with good wine. The cheese boards were loaded with selection of fine local cheeses for every taste. Soaked preserved whole grapes and cherries were a nice touch along with sweet ripe apricots that went so well with some of the cheeses. The white porcelain spoons of pure honey also complemented each bite. Professional and friendly wait staff were present when needed, more than willing to take photos for us and laugh along with us ... and also disappeared (just enough) to allow us to talk and relax as we liked. Everything was so good that we all decided to stay for another hour and devoured chocolate pecan tarts with bourbon ice cream and the silky creme brulee did not disappoint! Of course we look forward to visiting again soon. Our next reservation will be for the four-course supper advertised at an incredible price and includes endive salad, gnocchi, grid iron steak with all the trimmings, and dessert. We highly recommend On The Twenty restaurant. Booking on line at OpenTable was so easy.
Imaginative food with great presentation. Would be nice if there were wine pairings on the menu
As always the food was delicious and our server Jeffery very attentive and accommodating.
The food was OK but not great by any means - very overpriced for what you get. Service was OK but a bit too snobby for our taste. We spent about $600 for 6 adults - but I felt like we probably would have gotten better service / food quality somewhere else. Wont be back.
My husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary on Friday night. We had an awesome experience, the food was delicious, the service outstanding, an overall wonderful evening!
This gem of a restaurant is located in Jordan, an old farming village about 10 km west of St. Catharines (take Jordan exit off QEW). Cave Springs winery opened the 20 around 25 years ago. It's beautifully situated alongside the 20 mile creek. The restaurant itself is very attractive, with tall windows overlooking the Jordan valley. The food is superb and very reasonably priced,, and the service is excellent. The wine list is limited, not surprising as it is owned by CS. Highly recommended. An easy detour if you're on the way to Niagara on the Lake or the Falls.
Great as always! Thank you!
Excellent meal and service with great wines.
Would recommend for special occasion.
Food was outdated as was décor.
Very tired looking, chairs were worn and uncomfortable.
Had the fish pie. Tasted okay but not enough fish to keep hunger at bay for more than a couple of hours.
More fish in the pie would have upped the protein content and therefor satiety.
The whole experience was great. There were 2 weddings being catered to so dessert took quite a while to arrive, but the server brought us complimentary dessert wine with an apology on the wait time.
We have been going to the Inn on the twenty for more than two decades and have always had great service and excellent food and this time was no exception. There was a bit of an uncomfortable situation at the table beside us and staff handled it perfectly and very discretely. I would suggest that the lunch menu is little bit lacking in adventurousness, then again I Don't have any suggestions to offer.
Bottom line is,,we enjoyed our food and had a very pleasant birthday lunch and will be back again.
Restaurant/Open Table system is unacceptable! We couldn't reserve a place for our son at our table, although there were at least ten ten tables empty throughout the two hours we were at lunch. Restaurant lost revenue, server lost a tip and we lost the pleasure of a son's company.!
The food and food choices were excellent. The staff friendly and knowledgeable. A beautiful setting.
From the moment we walked into the facility, we were treated to warm and professional service. The food was delicious and the setting/ambiance is romantic and scenic.
Altogether a lovely experience.
We were there for my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary and loved the food. Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. We would have liked to be closer to the action in the restaurant (our group of 8 was kind of sequestered), and the meals came out VERY long after ordering (we waited approximately 40-50 mins for main courses and weren’t checked in very often). That being said, the food 100000% was worth the wait - everything was incredibly tasty and the perfect portions.
Our lunch was a wonderful culinary experience with a beautiful view. The restaurant itself would benefit from a fresher update.
The food was just okay. It was bland, very bland. I asked one of the other guests who also had the same dish and even before I said anything they used the same description. Bland. Sad because the service was great.
The food quality is not as good since the sale of Inn on The Twenty
Service was great, food was delicious, wine was local, which we loved. The date night menu might have been a bit more extensive. There were no fish options.
Incredible service, outstanding meal and great wine. Amazing to have a gem like this in Niagara!
Been to this restaurant a few times already. It's just lovely! Staff is very nice and food is very fresh. I like to order fish at this restaurant as they really know how to cook it!
Everything was lovely, food delicious, good value for money, just a bit of a disconnect between ordering, arrival of appetizers then quite a long wait for the mains to arrive (30+minutes, after the appetizer plates were cleared. The restaurant was only about 1/4 full so it’s not like the kitchen was slammed. Won’t stop me from going back. Very good food and value.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. It was our first time and we were extremely happy with choosing The Inn. Excellent food and service! I would definitely recommend this establishment.
Saturday tour with guests from abroad.
Food was excellent but service was slow. If your time is limited this might not be the place for you,
this restaurant gives one the impression that they like to cater to
local high society, but if you are an occaasional diner you feel
like you are not of much importance.
It was our first time at the restaurant, it certainly won't be our last.
Food and service was fabulous. Looking forward to return visit.
I been to the Inn on the Twenty numerous times and have always found the food, ambiance, service excellent and pricing reasonable. This time was no exception.
Went here for my sister’s birthday with my parents after a lovely day wine tasting in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Food and cocktails were unreal! For drinks I got the Rosemary Bourbon Lemonade and my sister got the Lavender Collins both were very well put together cocktails. I got the Steelhead Trout and my sister and Mom got the Short Rib and my dad got the dinner special of that day. Everything was amazing! The trout was cooked perfectly and the short rib literally fell off the bone. For dessert My sister and I shared the white chocolate coconut tart and my parents got the peach crumble and both were so delicious. Would definitely return and highly recommend!
Inn on the Twenty Restaurant is a fantastic, intelligent meal. The service is always perfect, and everyone is friendly and inviting. You'll be hard pressed to find another comparable locally or afar. Definitely one of our favourite spots. We'll be back.
