Inn on the Twenty
We were politely welcomed as if they were expecting us, seated promptly in a spacious dining room, music was not too loud - so we could enjoy great conversation; our server kept on task but was not overbearing, had a good sense of humour, and picked up on our needs.
Very nice evening out! Highly recommend!
We have enjoyed lunches at Inn on the Twenty on several occasions - the food is consistently good, the staff friendly and attentive, and the ambiance a welcome respite from a noisy hectic world. Good value, highly recommended.
We have been visiting On the Twenty for a number of years, most often for "special occasions". This visit was to host a relative from Quebec City. We raved about our past experiences at the restaurant and the food. This visit was such a disappointment. We each had the Winemakers Luncheon.
There were excellent moments: an attentive and welcoming staff, the warm bread, delicious mushroom soup, and the pumpkin cheesecake. However, the mackerel "main" was barely edible. The mackerel appeared to be smoked (not mentioned on the menu), then fried. It was harsh to the taste. It did not taste "fresh". We have had this same dish previously and the mackerel was fresh and tasty. The bed of chickpeas and vegetable stew contained chorizo which was dry and leather-like.
We have such wonderful memories of past luncheons, so our disappointment was more enhanced. At this point we are uncertain if we would revisit.
I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. From start to finish, everything was wonderful. Our server was professional, but fun! The food was amazing! One of the ladies from our group tried the 20 oz steak and it was by far, the best steak any of us have ever tasted. I can't wait to return!
Excellent food, excellent service.
Inn on the Twenty restaurant is a lovely place to have a quiet lunch with a beautiful view. The waitress was warm and welcoming and the food was excellent as always. The lamb shank was excellent. Highly recommend.
Our meals were fabulous & the service was wonderful as usual (Paul, Patty & Brian are great!)
We celebrated my birthday & everything was perfect!
Compliments to the chef(s) & all the servers ... you made my evening extra special & Thank You!

We absolutely love it here, the food is incredible. It is our go-to for life milestones as it is truly a treat.
Nice quiet ambiance. Food is in the standard gourmet dining price range, but the taste more than lives up to it! The service was excellent all night, never waited to ask for anything and the pacing that everything arrived at was relaxed but not slow.
This is our "go-to" restaurant for special occasions. Birthdays, anniversary, Valentine's Day - we've never been disappointed. The food was delicious, and the waiter was very helpful in selecting the right wine.
Inn on the Twenty restaurant is an oasis. Even the natural light pouring into the room is perfect.
I brought two people with me for a meeting and they were absolutely taken back by the service and quality of the meal
The food is good and well prepared but certainly not super-hot. There was also a long time between appetizers and main course. The decor was in-inspiring to me
Great Wine selection . Food amazing. View outstanding
Food is a bit overpriced for the portion sizes.
We had our 35th wedding anniversary here and it was lovely. The food was excellent but there were two menu items not available when we got there, and the menu was already somewhat limited. The service was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed it but was disappointed not to be able to order the duck.
Service was attentive and professional, the courses were excellent, but the new decor is boring and sterile and could easily have been improved by a small candle and flower arrangement or seasonal decoration.
Over priced for the quality of the food and decor of the restaurant. Advertised as fine dinning - no table cloth very casual. Food was average. My wife ordered lamb shank if came and you could not even cut it. The waiter took it to the kitchen saying it does not happen. When he came back he told us that the kitchen agreed with her. In other words they thought she was lying. They offered her a beef tenderlion which was 7$ more at the same price. Did not offer a free coffee or dessert. So my steak was cold when my wifes steak came out. All they would say was they were sorry. We get more concern from a local pizza retaurant when they made a mistake and we did not have to pay over $250.00. The mangement is riding too much on the name of the restaurant. This was supposed to be a treat for our wedding aniversary. This was our first time at this restaurant and we will not be back there are so many restaurants that offer better food and environment and care for their customers.
Appetizers were excellent however many of us were disappointed in our entrees. Fisherman’s stew had no broth, just a bowl of seafood. Misleading description on the menu. Duck was much fattier than other duck dishes I’ve experienced (yes I know duck is very fatty!). Bread pudding was served cold.
The food is always delicious and nicely presented.
Great me and terrific service. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was very good, and service excellent. It was a quiet lunch time so the restaurant was not noisy at all.
We would certainly return.
The food and portions were good and the environment in the restaurant provided a great setting for our 33rd year Anniversary Celebration.
We've eaten there before and stopped because the portions were getting too big. Now that we live in the area we decided to try again. Appetizers were both excellent - my wife had marinated raw scallops which she loved. I had a goat cheese tart with heirloom tomatoes - also fantastic. For dinner my wife had Beef Rossini which was melt in your mouth good. I had the Pistachio crusted Ontario rack of lamb. Normally I'm not a big fan of ontario lamb but this was delicious. Loads of flavor and cooked to perfection.
Special mention to our waiter Bryan who was very attentive and helpful.
My only complaint was the price for non-Ontario wines started at 75$. Would have been nice to had some less expensive options.
Would definitely recommend. Lovely spot, great ambience and the food is terrific.
Great time, food was wonderful, recommendations from the wait staff fight on. Being able to look out at the valley added to the experience!
It would be nice to have white table clothes though
Loved the presentation of the Sunday brunch
What a gem of a place! It was so delicious and a wonderful ambience. I look forward to my return visit!
My husband and I and another couple went for Sunday brunch for a 12:30 reservation. The ambience, table location and wait staff were very good but the food was poor. The cold brunch buffet items had been picked over and not replenished. The ice under the cold shrimp had mostly melted and the shrimp that were remaining were floating around in water. Their was a chef that was standing in the area but he made no attempt to improve the buffet, even though these deficiencies were in his view. In one case or two, there were no proper serving utensils. The hot portion of the meal that my husband and I ordered from the brunch menu had been overcooked; one was egg florentine, the other, fillet of salmon. The 4 of thought it was very disappointing and poor value for the price.
The perfect dining experience for a special family dinner. Great service, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. We look forward to dining here again!
The food was excellent, we took the winemakers lunch we enjoyed every bite of the served meal.
We will certainly recommend the restaurant to our friends or invite them to join us.
A beautiful setting and the 3 course lunch was outstanding.
The best fish and chips, the fish was so good it was hard to believe it was pickerel.
Excellent service and food from beginning to end. Never a disappointment.
Fantastic service and great food!
Amazing !! Great food !!! Great service!!! Clare was very helpful.
i would be hard pressed to find a better restaurant outside of nyc.
Restaurant is very nice, food was yummy and service was great. Would come back again.
Food was great. It got very loud and felt a little rushed by wait staff. Go often though and always recommend.
The food and service were very good, but disappointed that the Vintage group hasn’t done more to elevate the overall experience. Lacking we’re: a view (of something more than a bush), ambiance and an energetic vibe.
