Inn at Dos Brisas

This was an amazing experience. While not faint on the checkbook, the 5 course meal was spectacular through and through, a definite don't miss experience.

It was wonderful. You can't put a price on that kind of peaceful environment. Food and service were all off the charts. Our server was knowledgable and attentive. We specifically were drawn to Dos Brisas because the food was organic, and were not disappointed.

We are fans of Relais & Châteaux and have known about Dos Brisas for sometime but just tried it out for the first time. We were three people for a late lunch on Friday to kick off the weekend. In every way, it was the highlight of the weekend and the best thing we’ve done so far this year!
As expected, the food was superb.... eclipsed only by over the top service and genuinely wonderful people. Standouts were Ashley and the Som, Heath. The experience lasted a full three hours and we left certain that we had made new friends. Our vow is to return once a month.
Can hardly wait!

We had an amazing experience! The food was tremendous, tasty, and great variety of flavors. The staff were outstanding - they treated us with such warmth and hospitality. The location is gorgeous. Amazing food! Definitely worthy of its 5 stars. Our service was a little below par. There were excessive delays between courses and a couple of missed orders. Most likely because the restaurant was filled and it was the Valentine’s Day dinner. We will definitely be back, although not on a national holiday.

Wonderful experience. Sat in front of the fire, had outstanding service and extraordinary delicious well-prepared fine dining. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Inconsistent wine list. Not sure if the sommelier was there during lunch but the advice was poor. Confusion as to the wage beef - although the fact that my wife ordered the same entree made things more difficult. Service generally not at the level experienced in the past. Again, may have been due to a late lunch reservation and not dinner. Also notable was the absence of any non sweet rose bubbly by the glass.

Best restaurant I have ever been to in Texas! The food, service and ambiance all surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Did Brisas was a hidden gem!!! The grounds were gorgeous. The food was great and the staff was outstanding! I would definitely recommend, at the very least, trying them for lunch.

This gem outside Brenham is all we could ask for in service, ambience, presentation and food quality. Only thing I will change before next visit is to request a vegan entree. Thanks to all the staff who made our visit memorable.

Absolutely my favorite restaurant, from the delicious food to the purse stool, a stool to rest my purse on (to keep it clean and handy). Staff always helpful and never intrusive. We will be back as soon as we can111

We got lucky with a perfect weather day, sat out in the covered veranda, before the pool. Perfect country view and excellent service and cuisine.

The drinks were delicious and the service was great. The place was decorated beautifully

The folks at Dos Brisas will make you feel like King/Queen for an evening! They are incredibly personable and knowledgeable. The evening meal is so relaxing, the menu, changing with the seasons, is always so interesting and delicious. Love the dining room ambiance.

Absolute greatest restaurant experience of my life. We went for our 7 year anniversary, and while it is pricey, it was absolutely worth every penny. We enjoyed it SO much. The wait staff, the waiter and bartender in particular, were so knowledgeable about the food and preparation, as well as farming techniques, that it truly elevated the experience and made us appreciate it so much more. The food was so creative, and layered with amazing spices and flavors- each course really delighted us. There was an amuse bouchée that was phenom, as well as 5 courses, plus a small assortment of desserts for the 7th tasting. It was truly incredible, and we will keep this on our radar for future special occasions! Go- you won’t regret it!

The staff was one of the best if not the best we have encountered. Being a minority, I have been hesitant to go to fine dining often because I feel treated as if I am not good enough. Though the rest of the clientele was all white, we did not feel out of place. Thank you for that
The menu was quite varied and each dish was beautifully arranged and very well prepared. I had the pate for the first course. It is slightly too salty for me but I tend to be supersensitive to salt so my guess is it would have been right for most people. The liver mousse was perfect accompaniment.
Second was the foie gras. Well cooked. The persimmons added a great contrast in texture
The main course of venison was amazing. It came from a nearby ranch. The smokiness and the morel aroma were definitely different. The venison almost melt in the mouth.
I had wine pairing and the sommelier really knew how to accentuate the flavors.

My husband and I visited Dos Brisas restaurant for the first time. From the first interaction with the receptionist Denise to the last minute when we were leaving the service was impeccable.
The food was absolutely delicious , very creative and tasty. The wine was good too.

We had a lovely lunch at inn on dos Brisos. The first course of a seasonal salad and prosciutto and melon were truly excellent. We also tried the fish and the beef as well as the chocolate dessert. All exceeded our expectations. The service was very attentive and helpful. It was worth the drive from Houston to come have a splurge lunch here!

30th anniversary

Simply put, outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. Chef Zach personally visited our table and told us about each dish he prepared. Just an incredible experience all around.

Had a great time for a wedding anniversary meal at Dos Brisas.
The food was great and sophisticated. A lot of attention in the cooking with quality products and the right amount of seasoning to bring out the food's flavors without deconstructing it. This is rare in american restaurants. I only put 4 stars because i felt the sides were too few and not as well done as the dish.
Amazing lava cake for desert.
Dining room is cosy but nothing special in the decoration or flare of teh place.
Service was good.
Had a great dining dining experience overall.

This property is unbelievable! Worth the drive just to see it. Would love to stay here someday. We had the Sunday brunch and it was fabulous. I had the lemon drink and it was so refreshing. Will definitely be back.

I was really looking forward to expierencing the Inn at Dos Brisas but unfortunately it fell short from my expectations. We were over charged for drinks and did not appreciate a large party dinning fee that was never mentioned.

Food and service are absolutely top notch, and it's only an hours drive from Houston. This is the place to go for a special occasion like birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.

Outstanding restaurant! Everyone was most gracious and accommodating from the moment we entered the restaurant. We especially enjoyed our bartender, Heath and our waitress, Angela...both of whom went out of their way to make us feel very special. And the food...just incredible!...and the wonderful chef, Zach took the time to come by our table to personally greet us.

First class experience all the way around.
