This property is unbelievable! Worth the drive just to see it. Would love to stay here someday. We had the Sunday brunch and it was fabulous. I had the lemon drink and it was so refreshing. Will definitely be back.

I was really looking forward to expierencing the Inn at Dos Brisas but unfortunately it fell short from my expectations. We were over charged for drinks and did not appreciate a large party dinning fee that was never mentioned.
Dear ImaD, Thank you for your review, I have retrieved your check from our secure archives. I see some beverages were consumed before dinner on the pool deck & lounge. A large group fee is added, as your reservation grew on arrival the computer calculated the total guest present & it inadvertently automatically added the fee. Food and service are absolutely top notch, and it's only an hours drive from Houston. This is the place to go for a special occasion like birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.
Outstanding restaurant! Everyone was most gracious and accommodating from the moment we entered the restaurant. We especially enjoyed our bartender, Heath and our waitress, Angela...both of whom went out of their way to make us feel very special. And the food...just incredible!...and the wonderful chef, Zach took the time to come by our table to personally greet us.

Definitely worth the drive from Houston. Very nice and secluded property that adds to it's romantic ambience. Food was fantastic! Service was above and beyond from the moment you step out your car. Will definitely come back for an actual stay at the inn.
This is a very expensive restaurant. Our two guests had good meals, but my husband and I did not. For the price it is a major disappointment.
Chef Zack and Chef Vincent the pastry Chef were on point ! Chef Zack visited most every table as did the Manager. It really doesn’t get any better than this .
Everything we tasted was delicious , great seasonal menu and selection. Wait staff was a bit frazzled but it wasn’t anything that was bad they were just busy.. best fine dining experience in a while would certainly recommend. A solid 9 of 10 experience.
This place is AMAZING
This is our 2nd time to dine here for a special occasion, and this Thanksgiving dinner was excellent! The service was superb! The food from the appetizers to the desserts in presentation and taste was superb for the 3 of us (my wife and daughter & I).
It is definitely expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. We walked around the property on a beautiful day, seeing the horses, and the little mobile lawnmowers that keep the property immaculate, around the guest houses, the restaurant, the horse barn and corrals, etc.
If you have not been here, come and bring your love one and/or love ones!
The appetizer and the main course I have chosen were both based on egg omelette and would have been helpful if the attendant would have advised that the plates were similar. I missed out on the daily soup, which my Partner fortunately had, which was delicious.
The main course of beef was a “par” and hope to expect more on the dishes, but perhaps it may have been the season!

I really wanted to love this place. The service was fabulous; the staff came out to greet us, offered us coffee to warm up (it was in the 30s) in the lovely and very cozy bar area. Ashley, our server took excellent care of us and seated us at a round table by the gorgeous fireplace (beautifullly decorated for the holidays). My husband and I had taken our moms and my sister for a festive meal to kick off the holiday season. Sadly, the food was mediocre. My feeble bisque was tasty enough but was lukewarm, my chicken (raised onsite) had no flavour except for its delicious crispy skin. My sister’s fish was bland. The chicken schnitzel was dry and the bread had no flavour. My husband’s burger was good. The starter harvest salads were supposed to have a buttermilk dressing but had a lemon vinaigrette with little flavour. Ashley did bring out the buttermilk dressing that they liked. As much as we loved the location and service we were disappointed in the food.
Amazing atmosphere, service and of course, food! Very exclusive and intimate setting, and you don’t have to stay overnight—unless you want to, which is also a fabulous treat!
The food was extremely good and very creative. Didn't have the best cut of steak, but otherwise everything was wonderful. Definitely worth the drive. The wait staff is super knowledgeable and enthusiastic, but NOT snooty. Very comfortable and exciting dining experience. Will return!

We celebrated our 25th anniversary with great friends. What an amazing experience. The food and ambiance were outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make our evening special. We'll definitely be back.
The food is creative and delicious, the atmosphere quiet and refined, and the service attentive. This restaurant really does provide an exceptional dining experience.

Best dining experience we have ever had! The food was exquisite and the service well beyond expectations. Heath and the entire staff made our special occasion beyond special.
It’s Monday after Mother’s Day weekend, so it’s a a big Dead. But Joshua made our dining experience worth memorable. The chicken entree was great. Jelly donut desert is perfect. Love every course. The service is very professional and top notch.
The amuse-bouche was an excellent start to the meal at the Mother's Day Brunch.
The pea appetizer was fabulous with the fresh vegetables and the sauce was well intwined wiht magnificent harmony. The other tomato appetizer was have also brought out the natural flavor.
The main courses were not as we had hoped for especially the soft shell crab sandwich which was not to our expectations.
All the dessert selections were astonishing with Starwberry mouse and chocoloate, Lime Parfait and the selection of sorbet with the impression of the pineapple still memoriable.
Little too much traffic of servers for the number of guests in such a quiet place.
We had also hoped to complete our meal with petit four with coffee, which there was none, but overall very pleasant experience.
Now that Zach Ladwig is back as the executive chef, the Inn at Dos Brisas has the finest restaurant in Texas. We went there with our business partners and requested a special dinner to celebrate our conpany’s 10th anniversary. Zach created a ten course tasting menu that was to die for. Rebecca, the somolier, provided perfect wine pairings for each course. She is so knowledgeable and entertaining as well. The service was impeccable. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant, especially if you want to celebrate a special occasion and you want it to be memorable. Thank you Zach, Rebecca and the entire staff at the Inn at Dos Brisas!!!!!
From the moment we were seated , it was absolutely a 5 star experience ! Heath are server was so gracious , attentive , and knowable . The food was outstanding ! we will definitely be back soon .
Had a great lunch with out of town relatives. We loved the location and service. Food was outstanding and had a good conversation with the chef. Took a tour of the green house with the grower as the guide. Excellent experience.
Staff was very accommodating Heath Lagrone went above and beyond providing excellent service. Executive chef Zach and his team are the definition of five star dining.

Had Family from England visiting and we went for lunch. It is one of the most beautiful settings within travel distance from Houston. Food always excellent and service always excellent. Wagyu burger is always wonderful. Great cheese platter. Ingredients very local, usually on site. Extensive wine list, fair price.
Disappointing. Couldn’t fix drinks for lunch. Good salad, but didn’t fix bread that day. Service & view great, but weren’t ready for guests.

Perfection - the staff couldn’t have been more attentive or welcoming not to mention the food was exceptional in a beautiful setting. An experience my friends and I will never forget!
Went for NYE dinner. Very nice if you like tablespoon sized portions. Main course rib eye was riddled with stringy gristle. Not the sort of quality I would expect for the outrageous price paid. The fish course was Luke warm. Overall, the food was disappointing considering the tab was $250 per person before drinks and tax.
