This was our third visit to Barley Sheaf Farm for their Sunday Brunch. The food was excellent once again, so I feel confident giving them a 5 star review. Our server was not as attentive as previous visits, but still a wonderful experience. I love that it is an all-you-care-to-eat brunch without being a buffet. The moderate portions allow you to enjoy two separate entrees without becoming over-stuffed. Simply delicious!

No one recognized the fact that it was my wife’s birthday. The meal seemed rushed. My wife’s Wagyu beef, which by definition should be tender, was tough and served barely warm.

We have had lovely meals in the past, but this occasion was a disappointment.

This team is really hitting on all cylinders. Even though the restaurant was busy, it didn’t detract from the food or service quality. My octopus appetizer was fabulous and we both had the wagyu beef - done perfectly

Have been to the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm four times now in the span of 11 months. It is not only a restaurant, but a B&B. Beautiful setting and close to nearby Peddlers Village. The owners here are omnipresent and will make appearances to your table, in a way that makes you feel like family. The kitchen is the star of the show, however, from the executive chef on down. These folks know what they're doing, and it is evidenced by the flavors they put before you. Combined with a friendly and congenial wait staff, makes for a most pleasant dining experience. The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm should be on your list.

We're regulars for brunch but have also done dinner. Always a great time. I particularly like their brunch format...off the menu, innovative dishes, continue to order items until you're ready to call it quits and all at a leisurely pace so you can enjoy your company.

Four of us dined here last Saturday, and had a great experience. Service was impeccable; our entrées arrived all at the same time, and servers were helpful with explaining specials and making sure that we were satisfied with everything. Our dishes were full of inventive flavors and original takes on favorite foods. The atmosphere is homey; you enter the building and find yourself in a living room, complete with holiday-decorated fireplace and sofas to relax in during the brief wait for you table. We have been here twice and will certainly return.

This is our second trip to The Barley Sheaf and it won't be our last. We enjoyed this trip as much as our previous visit. The menu was different, but we love that the chef uses seasonal ingredients and changes his preparation of his main dishes to suit the season. Perfect place for a special occasion!

Had dinner with my wife and two sons last Saturday night. Not only is this the best restaurant in Bucks county, but I would argue it’s one of the best in the Delaware Valley. The owners are awesome.

Great brunch with excellent service. Instead of a traditional brunch buffet, you can order as much as you want. Everything is freshly prepared to order and made in the open kitchen. I had the mushroom ragout toast which was delicious and my husband had the scallops which he couldn't stop raving about.
Everything was fresh and delicious- a very good brunch.

Party of 6 celebrating 2 birthdays seated in a small room apart from other guests. Ideal. Superb service from host, Mark, to waitstaff. Menu is creative with attention to detail. 4 piece complimentary dessert nibbles at end were delicious and a gracious touch. Most memorable was how Mark made you feel like you were a special and welcome guest in his home.

The service was great, very attentive. We went for brunch. Delicious food and very cute ambiance. Would highly recommend.

The owner paid us a visit to check on us. He was also kind enough to rearrange tables to fit an additional guest a week ahead of time.

The only reason I gave it a 3 star for food is because I ordered the special - Bison and I could only eat 1/2 of the meat. The other half was all fat and grizzle. I mentioned to our waitress, Presley and she said she would let the chef know. No one came out to see what the problem was. To be fare, I will go back again to see if I get a better meal. My husband had the venison and that meal was very good. Portions are on the small side.

Horrible - the ambiance was similar to being in someone’s basement - poor excessive fluorescent like lighting, dirty walls, and a disgusting open kitchen that had old tired cabinets, was dirty and unkempt with disinterested 20 somethings in T shirts looking at iPhones.
Now the food - crab appetizer was cold tasteless crab and mayo on tasteless dry buns; octopus had so much hoisin that the rubbery octopus was overwhelmed. We had fish for the main course and both were over cooked and the presentation included pieces of fish sitting in discolored and tasteless sauce. The insult followed with the chefs complimentary dessert that is often served in fine restaurants - but it included hard marshmallow, old jelly, old caramel, and dry chocolate followed by an old cookie gift. Overpriced and no creativity with poor combinations and tasteless presentation and tasteless food. So disappointing given the beautiful grounds.
Needs makeover with new tables, lighting, paint, close off that disgusting kitchen and hire a proper chef and kitchen staff that knows how to prepare and cook food. The people of Bucks county deserve better.

This is perhaps the best dining experience I have ever had. Everything from the drive onto the grounds to the pour of the coffee, has been carefully thought out to create a truly magical experience. You are presented with the a carefully planned brunch menu that highlights seasonality as well as a wide range of possible appetites. The unlimited brunch has been made to make sure you are able to sample all the possible food choices, but also not waste food unnecessarily. The staff are beyond kind, courteous, and professional. The meal was experience was further enjoyed by the stroll you are able to take through the grounds complete with pond and farm animals. I cannot wait to return.

This was my 3rd time here for brunch and the food is fantastic, however, even though they say it is unlimited it appears by the extremely long wait for the wait staff to return to ask if you would like more food it appears they are not too happy to serve unlimited amounts.

We have been to Barkley Sheaf 6 or so times in the last 2 years and the food has been consistently excellent. The menu changes frequently and always has an array of unique items. The atmosphere is romantic and very ‘Bucks County’. The service is very good and the owners are always onsite. I will note the portions are small. I highly recommend!

We couldn't have asked for a better meal. Mark and Deena treated us as though we were the only ones eating there - and I am sure every other guest felt exactly the same way. My fiancé has a lactose intolerance and the chef and wait staff were 100% accommodating. The food was inventive and sumptuous. We each had an appetiser, small plate, and entree. The first course was light and bright. They awakened our palates. The second courses were more complex, earthier and full. The entrees were exquisitely composed for the eye and the palate. The meats were cooked perfectly. Spring for dessert too. You can not go wrong.
I am not including the menu because I'm sure it changes seasonally. Just know that it will be great.
