I did not show up for my reservation ( even though I did) so how can I review something that. according to you, did not happen.
One thing I can say is that I will never use open table again!
The atmospere and decor was great. The food was not. I ordered a 8 oz prime rib medium cook. Woth steamed broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. My husband ordered fish and chips. The fish was very oily and he could only eat part of it and the wedges were also oily and no flavor. My broccoli was good. The mashed potatoes had no flavor and my prime rib I have personally ever seen a prime rib come out white and have a ham steak texture to it. I ate only a few bites it had no flavor and was just not what I was looking for in a prime rib. It was horrible.
Love this place! Celebrate our industrial revolution the er f big bosses, with food worthy of celebrating too.Great hamburgers, sweet fries, cold beer and blue collar eatery.limited menu but everything prepared with a touch of chef. Took the grandkids and was fascinated by the pictures on the wall and train that ran overhead to the delight of my grandson. Kids menu was greatly appreciated and their portions just right. I am a carpenter and I'm greatly impressed with the interior of this restaurant. My family has a history of steel making and construction and I love the I Beams and working man theme the interior expounds. Every time I'm there the waiters and help supersede good service, always attentive, friendly and helpful despite all the tables they serve. Only concern I have is there is seating close to the open kitchen and the activity and noise of the kithen can be a distraction at times. This place is well worth the 40 minute drive we have to get there. Visit there web site and take a friend to lunch or dinner there, great food, educational tributes to our great past big bosses who developed our country, and fun place to hang out with kids and family.
We arrived 10 minutes early, but they were already for us with our booth for 4. It is a unique setting, with the decor both inside and outside saluting those who work in various industries, both past and present. Great draft beer list, very good service and food. Definitely will go back again when we are out that way.
We have eaten here twice and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I would love to say the same this visit but when you eat your dinner in a hurry while wearing coats...not enjoyable no matter how good food is. Our table was back by the kitchen and the air vents (3) in a row were blowing Arctic air. We asked the waitress and a host to adjust air but no luck :(
Industrial Revolution has phenomenal food in an energetic atmosphere! With each visit, you learn about a person who in some way did their part to help revolutionize the great U-S-of-A that we live in today!! The beverages come in nice big mugs with handles that make it hard to resist the urge to clank yours with a dinner mate across the table. The burgers are thick and delicious, cooked to your specifications with all the fixings. If you plan on ordering the BBQ chicken nachos, bring a friend whose stomach is a bottomless pit because they come on a huge plate and are scrum-didily-icious! The train that bustles along overhead is neat to see too! The staff is super friendly so if you prefer mean people, steer clear of here 🙂! If I lived closer I would go every dang day! My rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Enjoyed the unique decor, and appreciated the 'hero of the week' theme that highlights a military hero from US history. We ate the mini burger sampler and the chicken pot pie. The burgers were good, but the pot pie was excellent. Even though a little runnier than what I am used to, good portions of chicken and mushrooms in the pie, and most of the sauce was gone by the end. With drinks and no appetizer, two people ate for $30.
My boyfriend and I love this place. We like to sit in the bar area. On this visit, he had the pot roast dinner and I had the cobb salad with chicken. The pot roast was delicious, as always. In lieu of mashed potatoes, he had several choices of sides and ordered double veggies. My salad was scrumptious, though this time the chicken was a bit tough and dry. Normally, it's cooked perfectly, so I wouldn't hesitate to order it again.
This restaurant has a casual atmosphere and is good for dates, get-togethers with friends and family outings as well.
Industrial Revolution is a family favorite for special occasions. The ambiance is wonderful as it celebrates steel working and has cleverly named food titles and steel girder structure. The specials are named for inventors and they give a synopsis of their contribution to society. We love the mountain of nachos that have pork, cheddar, BBQ sauce, and sour cream. The burgers are seasoned well and give so many options. My husband and I love the sweet potato fries and my son loves the cheesecake. The service is excellent and they are generous with the portions - sometimes too generous because we eat the appetizer and take home the dinner!
It's over an hour from home. A couple times a year we drive by a bunch of great places to eat getting here. Love the decor. Friendly, attentive staff. Fun menu. Great food. Outstanding sweet potato fries. Delicious meatloaf. Creative hamburgers. Fried pickles. Good stuff! Kids of all ages love the train.
Over fried the lake perch. Lake perch is a thin fish and by frying it until the crust is dark brown causes the fish to be dried and taste like card board. The cheesecake and apple pie were overly sweet.
We did like the salmon patties with the bacon and the other appetizers.
Numerous options for an ultimately passable cheeseburger. Wife's salad was tasty and super fresh but marred by a food service ranch. No "wow" factor here although service was impeccably efficient. In short, a better-than-average sports bar celebrating America with an emphasis on the working man. Frankly shocked, being next to a premiere college, there weren't more healthy choices.
