Great service, Great food, spiced t individual taste. Have eaten Indian Food in NYC, LA, London. It is one of the best Indian Restaurants I have ever eaten.
Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good Indian Cuisine
Great food!! Somasas were a good start. Loved the chicken tikka Massala, its better than mine. My date ordered a rice dish which had goat, dried fruits and herbs. I wish I could remember the name bc I would definately order it on my next visit. I can only imagine how busy you are during season.
Second time, food is always excellent, friendly service, just a little on the slow side, compared to other restaurants. Would not stop me going back and recommending.
Great food as usual. Service is always consistently top notch. Highly recommend if u like Indian food.
Lawrence always excels.
It was date night with a group of married friends, the food was delicious and great customer service.
We enjoy Indian cuisine and were pleasantly surprised with Indus. The curry is excellent with the degree of spiceness perfectly delivered. The shrimp were jumbo in size and the lamb was very tender.
Great experience overall. We'll definitely go back for more!
The food was delicious and authentic Indian - mostly Northern Indian, but a few southern dishes as well. When they ask you how spicy, don't ask for moderate unless you really like your food spicy hot! Nice music, gracious reception and service, and if you're there for a date or as a romantic couple, ask for a booth because you can sit together at one end of the table quite comfortably and eat without bumping elbows.
We went here after a play at Dramaworks - a matinee performance. Looks like a street mall small-time restaurant, so don't let the location and looks fool you. Excellent pricing.
We started off with the Guldasta platter - everyone should try this delicious sampler. We ordered the Chicken Mughalai Cashew Korma, as well as their Wed/Sat special; Special Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, so very good. That was available at 6p, so we had reervations for that time, and didn't have to wait long. Service was very good, atmostphere was relaxing and fun.
Wer die indische Küche liebt, der sollte dieses Restaurant besuchen....ausgezeichnet das Essen, etwas lieblos der Service....
We've been to Indus many times. We love the food, the service, and everything about
the restaurant. We're never disappointed. And as we learn more about the food, and
try new dishes, we're even more pleased. Indus is terrific. For a casual evening, or for
a special occasion, alone or with one other person, or with a whole group, it's just
Indus is a sizable restaurant with a buffet section opposite their bar area. The dining room is very roomy and not very noisy. They also have comfortable booth seating which we tend to choose when we dine at this restaurant for dinner. The service is very pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive. All their appetizers are very good, especially the Gobi Manchurian appetizer which is Tempura cauliflower in ginger and other spices. Favorite entree's of ours are the Shrimp Tikka Masala and the Vegetable Malai Kofta which are excellent. The dishes seem to have a unique flavors which could come from their selection of spices along with overall quality of ingredients. I consider this restaurant the best Indian food restaurant in the area.
It's a bit dark inside, but the service while slow at times is made up for by the food. Naan and veggies and chicken dishes all very good.
Delicious! Go Wednesday or Friday for the chicken biryani special. If you are in the mood for Indian they will not disappoint.
as always - great food - non personal service - seems like they do not care if you come/bother (again) or not - since currently is no other good Indian restaurant around, we come again anyway because of the food - if we need personal attention, we go somewhere else! - Indus may need a real competitor in the area!
Delicious food as always! Best Indian food in all of west palm beach!
Not many Indian restaurants in the area so we are lucky to have found one we enjoy. The food is very good. This is a food place, not a dining place. I don't recommend having a cocktail or two there. They are way overpriced. A Kettle One martini was $10 and it was a short drink. To get a proper martini glass full took $20. That's crazy! GO FOR THE GOOD INDIAN FOOD.
excellent indian fare . relaxing simple decor. was pleased with all courses.
This is our favorite Indian restaurant in the area. However, on Saturday evening we waited over 1/2 hour for our main course. Admittedly, we didn't order an appetizer. Our chicken Tika marsala was skimpy on the chicken. We certainly will give the restaurant another chance.
We took our out of town guest to Indus and they enjoyed the food just as much as we always do
We have eaten here several times. We enjoy Indian food and this place is among the best in the area. Quite excellent for the money.
Our server Rehul was very knowledgeable and friendly. His recommendations were great, we hope to have him again soon
It is great to find great Indian food! We enjoyed our special night out!
Our evening was Excellent... Food was delicious and definitely plentiful
Traditional Indian Food, great tasting curries, Food came very fast, good selection of vegan, gluten free
Always great food. If you don't like spicy, order level 1 and no higher. Trust me. :)
I was so surprised by this restaurant. It is located in a safe and well lighted area, but more of an office building area, so its not a busy shopping center or mall kind of location. the interior is well appointed and very comfortable. The service was great but not intrusive.
The food was great, the flavors were amazing and they customize the spice levels to your liking, so the entire table was well pleased.
The flavors of the food were amazingly good, I think it is the best Indian food I have ever eaten in a restaurant.
we are experienced Indian Restaurant visitors and have been at Indus several times - always liked the food a lot. The service also has improved - the staff used to be not very friendly but was much better this time - hope this will last. We definitively will be there again!
Good Food. Good Service. No problems. We will be back
Indus features an expansive menu of well-seasoned, very tasty South Asian dishes that are beautifully presented by a competent staff in a very pleasant dining atmosphere. They have a nice selection of beer and wine and feature a full bar as well. You should go to this place and enjoy a wonderful meal.
Four in our party - each one ordered something different, and we shared. Appetizers were very good, and lamb curry was excellent. Dosa not so good; spinach and lamb dish very skimpy on meat.
They claimed they did not get the reservation, but the restaurant was very quiet, so it was not problematic.
We went to Indus for a Business Dinner to Indus on Wednesday for a party of 6. We went there several times earlier. The waiter who took our order was very rude. We asked him to give us few minutes so that we can discuss in our group. He knows we come there for special Dum Biryani. He comes back after 10 min. and says Special Dum Biryani is Sold out. He can manage one order for a table of 6. All of my Colleagues got disappointed as we all came for that. While we ordered other dishes on the menu, He brings same Special Dum Biryani to three other tables who sat around us and all of them came after we ordered. All guests on our Table got shocked to see he is bringing the same dish to others. He does not honor any additional requests on that Day. Our one Order of Special Dum Biryani is also not as tasteful as previously.
Overall everyone was very disappointed and thinking twice to go next time.
Delicious food. Long wait for food.
The entrees were delicious. However, the appetizer platter we ordered was, for the most part, very dry. When this was mentioned to our waiter he said he would let the chef know and we heard nothing else about it. We would go back and not order appetizers. Disappointed in the way this was handled.
I love the seasoning and the heat of this Indian cuisine. The service is always good.
The food was good but they were rushing us out. They kept trying to take our chutney away and we were still eating and they asked us if we were ready for dessert and the check. It was very uncomfortable. We love the food but won't be coming back.
We dined at Indus on Friday, August 5, 2016 and the Friday prior. The last time, we brought a friend of ours to introduce her to this gem. The service is good, the food is great, and the prices are fair. We tell all our friends to try it!
Food and service were really good. The nice young man that served us our wine, however, needs to be taught how to use the corkscrew!! LOL. No big deal. I thought it was kind of cute. I offered to do it for him, but he insisted he had it....and he did get it! Price is good, too. My wife and I had a bottle of wine and dinner. The bill with gratuity and tax was a little under $100.
Food is absolutely fantastic. Service is good but they just got the hand held tablets to put in orders so they were concentration on getting the order right and did not seem present when I was asking menu questions but normally the service is excellent
This time I would give order taking a 6 out of 10
Great dining experience. Food is so flavorful and portion size is very good! Will definitely visit again!
