Was a great dinner with family! The flavors were perfect and very fresh food. I can’t recommend enough. We sat next to the fountain, which was very relaxing.
The food was fabulous and service was interesting . We had 3 or 4 diffferent people waiting on us ; do a bit confusing. The 18% service charge really detracted from our experience . I would much rather have a bit higher prices; it just presents better.
Absolutely terrible food. No flavor. 18% service charge on top of their overpriced entrees that made no sense to their East Asian theme. No kids menu as well. Uninspiring dishes that are sub par to a street corner teriyaki establishments standards. Placing an orchid and some dry slaw on every dish was super tacky too. Nothing made sense about this place. The bathroom was dirty. This place was an absolute joke. I literally thought I was in the twilight zone or would have had to think that someone was playing a cruel joke because I couldn’t believe how ridiculous everything was about this place that is centered in the heart of downtown Tacoma. The atmosphere is upscale and the layout was really nice just as I had originally remembered it from years past. BEWARE! You’ll have more satisfaction out of a night anywhere else compared to coming here and blowing money on this ridiculous place.
It was a memorable experience—we took our four teenage granddaughters out and our conversation was as interesting and delicious as the food. The service was fantastic!!
Food was amazing and the cost wasn’t half bad for the quality of food. Service was good and fast but a little brash. The music they were playing was horrible. I was forced to listen to 9 Katy perry songs straight followed by 7 Beyoncé songs straight. Would have appreciated some variety in the artists rather than being a victim of the sound disorientation torture technique.
Great food great service. Special birthday meal.
One of my favorite restaurants in Tacoma. My sister and I Frequently visit for lunch and dinner
We ordered two dishes as four star hot. When we got them, they were not spicy at all. One of the dishes was supposed to be made without bell peppers but it was loaded with them. We told the waitress about the un-spicy food and she brought us chili sauce for our food rather than offer to have it remade in the kitchen (as we ordered). I have been to Indochine several times but the portions were smaller this time and service was problematic.
service was excellent, food was tasty but portion could have been a bit more.
surprise with gratuity included in the bill.
New hire welcome dinner
American style Thai food with a very cool decor.
Didn't like the 18% extra charge which didn't apply towards the tip (33% on top of the bill if you add a 15% tip to the 18% extra charge....$$). The server didn't come by enough to ask us if we wanted refills or more drinks. And the food was pretty blah. A 3 star Thai dish should be a little spicy but it wasn't. Great atmosphere but that was it.
The food was fantastic, and we haven't invented a word to describe how good the Flourless Chocolate Dessert is. The service was quick and attentive. It sure feels odd to leave the TIP line blank on the bull since they already added 18% to the bill. That being said it was a great value. Will return with friends.
Excellent food portions were more than adequate. The restaurant gave a great selection of rice as well
Have always LOVED Indochine. Best Thai food ever! Highly recommended for many years!Linda Bellisario
Beautiful decor. Great service. Over priced for the quality of food. The bathroom definitely needs to be updated and cleaned.
Food was very good. Our servers were attentive and engaging. Food delivered to the table fairly quickly after ordering. Only complaint is they add an 18% service charge to your check to cover the new minimum wage instead of increasing their meal prices. I'm NOT a fan of this practice
Owners Russell & Lee consistently prepare good Thai food. Don’t miss out on the awesome dessert’s Lee oversees with her French cooking skills.
I liked my dining experience except for the mandatory 18% gratuity. There was only 2 of us! Isn't gratuity for the service? Shouldn't I get to choose the % and not the restaurant!
We ordered five different entries plus two appetizers and love everything. The Pink Orchid cocktail is a must. Kim was our wonderful server!!
I have nothing but good things to say about Indochine Asian Dining Lounge. The service is always fantastic, food scrumptious, and the setting is perfect. They have several of my favorite dishes. I’d highly recommend the sesame wraps and the mango fried rice. Yummy!!!
Food was awesome, service was lacking and below par for a restaurant of this type.
a bit noisy and service felt a little rushed, but good meal.
very enjoyable, beautiful interior, great food.
Parking is a big problem
Could decorate the food a little more. Usually they put fun flowers on the drinks or some entrees. Overall good is good and fun for birthdays. We miss Sarah!
Love this place!
We added three additional people to our group at the last minute. The hostess was very accommodating and gave us a private room. She waived the private room fee, which was very nice. The food was amazing as always, but I don't come here as often as I would like due to the 18% service fee that is added to your bill. It was not due to the size of our group. The entree prices are on the higher side, so the 18% adds a lot to the total bill. It's a beautiful place, the water feature in the middle of the restaurant always amazes me. It's probably more of place to go on a special occasion.
Love this place, super great food!
Will be back soon
Cuisine was pretty good. Penang Chicken Curry is very rich and flavorful. Cashew chicken is good, but not spectacular. Pad Thai is standard, but ours was lacking enough sauce and came across as too dry and sticky, not very flavorful.
Service was not good. Our server visited our table three times: 1) initially to take drink orders, 2) returned with drinks and took our entre order; 3) lastly brought our check. This is a shame because it was only 6:30 PM on a saturday and it wasn’t particularly busy, so it didn’t appear that our server was slammed, more disinterested than anything else.
I would have ordered another cocktail, but didn’t get the chance and I probably would have sent the pad thai back, but she never checked in to see if everything was to our liking.
Overall a disappointing evening. There are more enjoyable dining options that I would choose in the future.
The food was not quite as good as I remember from recipes visits.
Beautiful interior, but food was subpar at best. Appetizers were alright but the main courses were drowned in bland sauce (I had chicken curry, person I was dining with had a seafood special... her's even looked awful, basically a plate of green-brown mush). Was excited to try but won't be back.
Popped in for a quick lunch. Staff were very accommodating and brought food promptly. A great experience
We've been going to Indochine since they first opened years ago. I've arranged business parties there in their private dining room for 30-40 people, as well as dined there with friends and family. We especially like sitting next to their indoor 'pond'. Without exception their food and service is consistently outstanding. Roger and his staff do a fabulous job. My husband and I think it is without doubt the best restaurant South of Seattle. The interior is unique and quite beautiful. My favorite dish is the Penang Curry Chicken and my husband loves the Crispy Fried Fish. I highly recommend this restaurant for business or pleasure - you won't be disappointed.
Everything was great, the staff was attentive, the food was very good and we had a good time.
Attended attorney Dennis Schroader's holiday 2016 party. Appetizers were all good, served with excellent dipping sauces. The honey glazed walnut shrimp with lychee fruit was the most delicious and unique entree! In traveling to over twelve countries, I always like to try fried chicken, and the orange chicken batter at Indochine was the lightest and tastiest, the chicken was so flavorful and juicy, it surpassed anything I have had in Vegas, New York, San Francisco or L.A. If you are a sweet and sour chicken fan, you owe it to yourself to try their orange chicken. I will be back here with my family this weekend!
Excellent food. Superb pot stickers and orange chicken. Excellent surroundings, service a little too lax at times.
We were a group of six friends. We had great food and service. Enough attention but not too much. It's a beautiful place for meeting friends for a meal.
Although the pad tai wasn't a level 5 on the heat index, everything else was. Great appitizers, drinks, atmosphere and more.
