Wonderful food and great service!!! We went there prior to the Jonas Brothers concert and they even played JoBros music! It really made the entire night a really fun time!
Always a great experience!
The atmosphere is lovely and the food is always delicious. Our friends from Victoria BC love to dine there also; we go everytime they come down.
Fantastic food, great ambiance, just a bit expensive. Two entrées, two drinks $105.00
We have recommended you to a few friends already. We will return. Your portions are so generous that we must either be very hungry or be prepared to take home a to-go box.
3 couples. Large booth. Great food and service. Fun night out with friends. Recommended.
I enjoy the decor, however, the wait staff were not very attentive, we were served food and had to ask for utensils, napkins and chopsticks.
There were no seasonings or condiments available.
I had Orange Chicken that was completely without flavor and the pieces were 2 to 3 times larger than they should have been which is difficult to deal with when there’s no knife and fork.
This was a first date for me, I was very disappointed in the restaurant. I won’t be recommending or returning.
Our visit was for a pre-concert dinner. We were seated promptly at our reserved time and had a fabulous meal.
From the beginning, the hostess was so busy doing a to-go order that she didn't acknowledge us for a good 5 minutes. Tight in front of her. No eye contact, no be right with you. We sat down by the pond which is nice, server got drink orders but literally took off after taking 2 of 3 possible orders, and didn't ask for an appetizer order... she came back, tried to drop drinks and dash off but I turned and stopped her so we could order some apps. She was nice but obvious in a rush to be everywhere it seemed. She said no problem then dashed off before my wife could get her drink order in...Dropped the spring rolls and coconut soup and I asked for peanut sauce, (which wasnt anything to rave about) and that took long enough, seeing her taking two new table orders, that I flagged another girl and asked her for some. Our server seemed over extended taking tables all over the restaurant. My son, often a good eater, hardly touched his mango chicken rice dish. It was pretty uninspired and lacked flavor. It ended up in the trash at home. Beef salad... really kinda meh. Would've said something but the server was all over the place, rarely tableside, and we just wanted to have a nice dinner without being crabby. But really, $79.61 later... I've been unimpressed with this place before and tonight reaffirmed it's not worth it. The ambience is beautiful but everything else has much to be desired. Especially the food. The menu seems to have shrunk and not one item stands out. Check # 547503.
Very good menu. Excellent food. Outstanding service. I would prefer different background music, no music or lower volume. Overall, very enjoyable and highly recommended.
This is the second time I have been to Indochine and it was better than the first time. Best Thai food I have ever eaten.
Indochine has become one of our favorites. Quiet, warm ambience, with friendly, professional service. The menu is diverse and the preparation is consistently excellent.
Always a pleasure to dine here when we visit Tacoma !
Our server Veronica was the absolute BEST! Our 12 year old ordered some seafood curry that she really didn’t like. No problem! She boxed it up, for her some fried rice. No big deal! She was so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Surprise 27th wedding anniversary. Food was okay but the pink orchid is delicious. Dessert tastes amazing. It was really noisy.
The only thing that we thought could be improved was the music. It was a little loud and didn’t really fit the ambiance. It was more pop rock. Other than that, service, food, and atmosphere were all amazing!
Indochine resturant is a very nice thai resturant the family really enjoyed the warm atmosphere. The staff was very professional, the food was great. I will definitely tell my friends about this resturant.
Their food isn't as good as it used to be, but the fried spring rolls and saffron rice were the best in town. My drink was unremarkable, probably won't drink there again unless it's wine. Very bad and uncomfortable black chairs; you should do something about that. Probably won't come back for a while unless I go in the bar where the seating is more comfortable.
We were headed to a show at the dome. Got to Indoshine a bit early but we're able to get seated no problem. Delicious food great service from all the staff our server was fantastic. Perfect beginning to a fun night out!
The food was excellent and even the leftovers were good the next day. The service started out good and then declined as the restaurant filled. We had a 5:00 reservation and the restaurant was quite cold when we entered and I had to get out jackets as I was told there was nothing the restaurant could do about it.
Probably the best potstickers i ever had
I enjoyed indochinese every visit. The food and drinks are great, the servers are quick. The atmosphere is relaxing and laid back. Worth the experience.
We were given the sunken room and it was so special for my birthday celebration. Caitlyn was a wonderful server and did a wonderful job keeping all our orders straight as there were 9 of us and we ordered a lot of food. It would have been nice if we got the appetizers before the main course but everything came out at the same time. Nevertheless we had s great time and food was super. I thought your featured drink the mermaid was different from when we had it last year and I was disappointed to see lemongrass chicken wasn't on the menu. Still we will come back again and again as it's a great place for a celebration.
Enjoyed dinner here after a visit to Tacoma Art Museum. The menu is broad - worth several more visits! Portions are generous. We ordered two starters and one fried rice entree and had plenty to take home. The food was delicious and 2 star was nicely spicy for me. I will certainly be back!
AMAZING! Cat was a lovely server who knew the menu well. The music was at the perfect level , food was incredible. The host (Curtis) was so welcoming and sweet. Would recommend this place over and over!
Family was in town always a great time!
We had a wonderful birthday dinner for my husband-servers were very helpful and accommodated our grandchild in a high chair, even though we hadn't arranged it in advance. Food was wonderful, as always!
Celebrated my wedding anniversary here. It was great. Awesome atmosphere, food and service. Highly recommend!
Queen concert! Loved that they played Queen most of the night!!
Makai was so nice. Malia was so sweet helping him. I love spring rolls
Only negative was the temperature in the restaurant. Very cold and the server said a/c is controlled by the university of Washington. Let’s be environmentally conscious UW.
I have not been to Indochine Tacoma in many years and it was fabulous. I went to celebrate my retirement and enjoyed the items on the menu and had a hard time choosing one but loved what I chose.
My friend loved hers as well and they gave me so much I had a full meal there and one more the next day at home. I highly recommend Indochine for anyone who loves Thai or Asian food.
Horrible service. Our server forgot our order twice. While we were waiting for our entree dish Salmon, she came up and said, so any idea for dessert? We were like oh shoot, she totally didn’t get out entree into the system. And...she realized that, and apologized. Dishes scattered around after customers left, and no one cared to bus the table. We sat with a bunch of dirty dishes at the bar while waiting for the delayed salmon. What a night.
We greatly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service of this restaurant. Due to traffic, we were running late for our reservation, so I called to let them know. They were very friendly and flexible - when we arrived, we were seated immediately. When I made the reservation, I noted that it was for a special occasion (my husband's birthday), but, unfortunately, this was not acknowledged at all. They did give us a free dessert because a large party had ordered more than they needed. However, it would have been nice for them to acknowledge my husband's birthday. Aside from this, we had a nice time and will plan to return again in the future.
Indochine has been one of our favorites for years. We went to celebrate our 24 year anniversary with our children. We sat there forever before our waiter arrived to take our order. Our appetizer came at the same time as our food. No one ever came back to refill our drinks. We wanted to order dessert but after waiting for a long time, finally walked to the front counter to ask for take out boxes and pay the bill. The restaurant was freezing. Everyone was wearing coats. The restaurant was not busy and there seemed to be plenty of people working. Very disappointing!
The food was excellent - cocktails were tasty - ambiance was fun. A great birthday celebration.
Went here for Father’s Day! So good!
We went for my son's graduation and had a party of 12. We used a private room which was very reasonable and the whole experience was outstanding - food & service in particular.
