I would love to go back again, but not on a Saturday night! It was crowded, and the noise level was high.

The kitchen was under pressure because of a wine dinner and customers ordering off the regular menu--however, they came thru. The service was outstanding in every aspect.

Indigo Grill is a gem in Little Italy. We were there on a Tuesday evening, when they have a date night menu, which includes an entree and a bottle of wine. This is a great deal, because we had the bottle of wine, and it was wonderful. But we chose to eat a la carte, and had the most wonderful appetizers - salmon belly sashimi, and lobster and other seafood ceviche. For the main dish, we had grilled salmon, and asked for it to be cooked rare. It was perfect, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. The other dish we chose was sea bass with very interesting vegetables. The desserts were showpieces - absolutely artistic as well as delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Just a wonderful dining experience. The menu is original. The food excellent. Our party had an assortment of skewered meats, a flatbread, and stuffed chicken breast. All were really good. Will go back next time we are in San Diego.

Food was OK, nothing special. We ordered tapas style and they managed to serve all five dishes at the same time in a very little table for 2...We had to ask the waiter to help us manage the food.
They gave us some churros to celebrate our anniversary. They were either overcooked or stale and reheated. We could not manage to eat a single one of them

I would come back if I am in the neighborhood and would like to have a quick bite. Certainly not one that I would plan for.

We frequent this restaurant often and have noticed the menu never changes. It would be nice to have some new or daily offerings.
Service from Amy is always outstanding

Our recent dinner was a huge disappointment! The place was empty but the service was not very well timed. The drinks were pricey for what they were. The server was not very attentive. I had to ask for her so I can send back the roasted clams/mussels dish that was too dry and salty!!! The replacement dish of the Kung Pao calamari was equally a failure s-- should have just asked for the check!!!
This visit will terminate our future return to this restaurant. Pick among better choices in Little Italy!!!

Great Tuesday Night Date Special Menu which included a whole bottle of wine or sangria & two meals for $40. We chose an Argentinian Malbec that was very smooth. Food was delicious, flavorful and different! The Salt & Pepper Shrimp appetizer was a favorite at our table. Our group ordered a seafood salad that was loaded with shrimp, salmon & calamari, a flatbread that was tasty, a board of variety skewers & pickled veggies, along with a stuffed chicken that was cooked perfectly. Great chance to taste South American food that goes way beyond the traditional Mexican cuisine we're inundated with. This is an easy restaurant to drop in while strolling through Little Italy. Cheers!

They had a date nite special for 39.95 for 2, it was delicious and an exceptional value. We got in on the 4th of July, yet didn't feel overcrowded. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I've been dining at Indigo Grill for six years and considered it one of my favorite spots. The food was great and the staff very friendly. Over the past year they've lost a number of their staff and the food and service has become average. I know everyone has a bad night, but my experience since late last year has been mediocre consistently.

As usual, the food was excellent and beautifully presented. We requested and received outdoor seating. It was a good thing because the noise inside would have been unbearable. When I go out with friends I actually want to talk to them. My biggest criticism of Indigo is the noise level which has actually increased with the addition of a bar at the entrance. I don't like walking through a bar space, hearing the music blaring and hearing patrons screaming at each other in order to be hears. Outside is the only acceptable space for good food and conversation.

This is my go to in San Diego for over 15 years now. I went two nights in a row this past week for crusted jalapeño Brie and Good Things Growing, their mind-bogglingly good vegetarian platter (I'm not a vegeatarian) and butternut squash soup. Creative cocktails and a fusion cuisine leaning towards Southwestern delights make for a terrific, consistent dining experience with excellent service.

My wife and I have eaten at Deborah Scott's Indigo Grill since it opened. We love the food and try to go early for dinner because of the crowds--and parking in the area.
There are just too many wonderful items on the menu which should satisfy most people.

I've been there twice and the first the service was great, the second time ok. The first time our meals were great for one and ok for the other and it switched the second time. The ribs and veggie meals were the best. The steak and chicken meals were ok. The chicken was good but was suppose to be filled with cheese and bacon and it was lacking. There red sangria is excellent and i am no expert but I have had sangria in Spain and this stuff is good. The brownie dessert which we got both times and went back for is awesome so save room for it. Tuesday they have date night and have a great deal with 2 meals, limited choices but good, and a carafe of sangria, about a $60-70 value for $40.

Indigo Grill has been a long time favorite, and with so many great new restaurants opening nearby it had fallen off my radar. I went for dinner with 2 friends this week and was reminded why I love this place. The food was superb - fresh with South American flair and spices. Everything was great from the Arugula and Pear salad, to the Salmon plank, to the Sea Bass, to dessert. YUM. They also remodeled within the last 2 years to give the place a hip urban ambience with a firepit and antique windows... I love the look. I will go back soon

You can sit both indoors or outdoors in their " glas veranda". Really nice to be able to sit outside but without getting disturbed by passing traffic.

Quick service

Gluten free option good and great flavor in the food!

I went there for a business dinner for a party of five. Each person ordered something different and everyone was very happy with what they ordered. All meals had a very creative and unique presentation. There was Latin music playing in the background but not too loud. The wait staff was very helpful and patient. I thought there was excellent value for what we received as it was not overly expensive. I will definitely go there again

The menu has completely changed since we were here last. Items are tasty but cooked with way too much sugar. The ribs were fall off the bone good but too sweet. They still have the sesame seed encrusted baked brie which is delicious.

Interesting menu. I enjoy restaurants that are "outside of the box" and the Indigo Grill is just that. I appreciated all the vegetarian options on the menu. Our party of four all enjoyed our selections but the only complaint was that the calamari was too chewy.
